This is my favorite sandwich shop in Cardiff! They do amazing paninis and are cheaper than anywhere else. The service is really fast, and they deliver when I’m wicked hungover. Definitely love the Coronation Chicken Baguette!

However hungry I am, I rather object to paying a ridiculous amount of money for a sandwich when I can make sandwiches at home without paying half as much.
But every now and then it’s necessary to buy a ready made one either because I haven’t had time to prepare my lunch, need to the on the go, or am just out longer than I expected to be. Naughty But Nice makes this bearable by making their sandwiches fresh to order. They have a good range of fillings on offer and are not badly priced. They taste pretty good, too.
I’m not sure where the «Naughty» part comes in, but the sandwiches are definitely nice, and infinitely preferable to an over-​priced pre-​packaged one with stale bread and too much butter from any other shop.
They also have a salad bar and do jacket potatoes, which is great if you want something warm and filling for lunch.

Naughty But Nice has the look of a newsagent or a corner shop about it, while its name suggests you’re going to be offered cream cakes — or at the very least full fat ice cream.
What they actually sell, however, is sandwiches, and luckily they advertise their purpose clearly on their shop sign so there’s no confusion.
Made fresh to order, there’s nothing pre-​packaged about the sandwiches from here and there’s a decent choice of fillings. In this area of Cardiff you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to cafes and sandwich shops, but for this isn’t a bad choice for a filling lunch at a reasonable price.

I really enjoy a freshly made baguette, especially when you know exactly what’s going in to it. On the same par a Subway this local sandwich bar has a good choice of fillings and at much better value than Subway.
The location is great for pickups while travelling into Uni, from the roath area, so that if you forget to make a sandwich for lunch you can pick one up here. They can also deliver but I never ordered a large enough order to justify the delivery.
The coriander chicken was my favourite with cheese, somethings are all about the taste and these baguettes are no exception.
