Nandos Chickenland

Oh dear. Yet another cloned fast food outlet. If you want to know what it tastes like then go into any other Nando outlet and you’ll know. Not so cheap and cheerful. Food without imagination.

This was my first time at Nando’s or indeed this genre of resteraunt. The reason i’m giving 2 stars is maybe due to a misunderstanding of the way it works. No table service, not explained. I sat there for 20 mins before working out i have to order myself, food was very spicey, fries slightly cold.

Excellent place for lunch or dinner, Nandos is as Nandos does, food is great, chicken superb every time, I like it hot :-).
Have a snack or a meal you won’t be disappointed till you have to pay. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the price, so if you’ve got plenty of money and don’t mind paying for great food then this is the place for you.
Highly recommended for flavour and spice.

It’s another Nando’s. Try the chicken!

Nando‘s is perfectly located in the very heart of Exeter city shopping centre surrounded by a newly built shopping complex, easy wheel chair access here at Nando‘s and a must is the peri peri chicken. Great service

The chicken is absolutely amazing but it is somewhat pricey for the amount of food you get. I was a little disappointed that i didn’t get very much food because it is a little pricey but overall a good meal probably wouldn’t go back as I eat a lot and was still very hungry after eating there.

The best chicken ever. If you haven’t tried it you gotta go there. Chips great too.

Wherever you go in the world, if you can find a Nando’s you know what you will get, tasty peri-​peri chicken. It was a taste of home, just like the Nando’s in Zimbabwe! You get what you pay for, it certainly ain’t a cheap chippie meal, but then it ain’t a cheap chippie meal!!!

One is lead to believe that this is not expensive. But it is. Their pricing is cleverly balanced and you can spend a lot here very easily.
The salads = not reliable
Chicken = reliable
Staff = friendly_​bit cheeky
Good place for children but the cost can zoom!

placed in the middle of the busy shopping area of Exeter, this nando’s is always busy. Despite this, it is usually a quick wait before you are shown to your table. Their peri-​peri chicken is fantastic, and the side dishes offeres go with it well.

This Nandos is located in the centre of the shopping arcade in Exeter right next to a large carpark.
It is always fairly busy, but you are always met at the door promptly and shown to a table, on rare occasions I have had to wait but that is usually because I have one or two prams so it is more conveniant to wait then try to get past people to the tightest corner.
The actual restaurant is quite packed, it is very hard to manouevre around the restaurant compared to other Nandos.
But the staff are service are second to none, the food arrives quickly and is delicious.
There are always a good selection of sauces to try, and the refillable drinks option is wonderful for children especially.
There frozen yoghurt though is one to avoid as it contains massive amounts of sugar, something even Nandos staff themselves will tell you.
They also offer a reward scheme so with every £6.45 you spend you get a stamp in a card and for every three stamps you get a free meal, which works out really well and the free meals come around quickly.
Overall a great resaurant serving great food at reasonable prices.

This is a lovely Nando’s, right in the middle of the city centre and surrounded by shops. You can usually get a seat in there straight away and the food is always served very quickly. The staff are always very friendly but are very keen to take your plates away as soon as you finish chewing which is a bit off putting when you are left eating by yourself while the rest of your table have nothing on front of them. The food is good value for money and perfect for a lunch or a quick dinner. The all you can eat frozen yoghurt is a definite must try!

The food is lovely here although very spicy. It is basically like KFC in some respects but a lot nicer. You place your order at the bar and then the staff bring the food to your table. It has a nice atmosphere and the surroundings are lovely.

Nandos is fantastic, the menu is quite hard to understand for first timers but it is literally just chicken. I love that you can see the chef cooking your food as they have foreign chefs cooking in an open plan kitchen in the restaurant. Also if you purchase one drink you can get coke, lemonade, fanta etc and ice cold water for free again from the tap which is help yourself

Nandos is a good place to go and eat, I have eaten there on two different Occaasions, Staff are friendly and you order your food at the till and pay, they bring your food to your table so you dont have to wait for it to take it yourself :) plenty of choice to suit everyones need :)

I have only visited Nandos once, but quite enjoyed it. You have to like chicken and spicy food, though, or you won’t want to eat there! You get seated, then you choose the basis of your meal, and how hot you want it (i.e. how much hot sauce — they have a special blend), any sides, and any drinks.
You go up to the counter and queue to order (which takes a while) then once you have paid they bring it over. They cook everything behind the pay counters, so you can see exactly what they’re doing, and therefore no sneaky drops on the floor and back on the plate!
They have a refill machine for the fizzy drinks, and also somethink like an icecream factory for frozen yoghurt — it was banana flavour last time we visited and was really low in fat!
Nice food, although almost impossible to have your chicken NOT spicy
It is located in the new shopping centre, Princesshay, and in the restaurant/​café area. You can sit in the large window and watch the world go by as you eat.

The building has a nice glass front which is ideal for ‘people watching’ on a Saturday afternoon as it is in the middle of the new shopping centre.
Menu is glorified fast food and a little expensive for what you get.

Really tasty chicken restaurant — so tasty infact you can buy their sauce in asda!
Quite expensive, and the burger buns are very cardboardy.

Sorry to disappoint but this is Kentucky with décor! Food is basic and uninspiring and you have to queue to order it which gives it the feel of a canteen. Always busy with families and students mainly so it clearly hits the spot for some but not for me I’m afraid.
