Kurt Geiger sell men’s shoes? I maybe completely off the boil but this is a revelation to me although I have mixed feelings. While at first thinking how I can actually add something to the many reviews and talk about this designer outlet after hearing so much from women both on Unilocal and in various workplaces, I am also aware of the potential pain and confusion this place could induce in Liverpool’s males. Women seem to love and hate this place! They adore the shoes and pine for them through the glass or splash out on a pair for a riduculous amount only to be plagued by guilt for doing so — but if you watch them and you will see them stroking and talking to them like a new pet! More choice and quality for men is always a bonus especially in a city like Liverpool which talks fashion and particualrly footwear so seriously — but I wont have it at the expense of our sanity!

The newly opened Kurt Geiger in Church Street particularly catches the eye with its glossy and glass pannelled exterior. Kurt Geiger is a women’s mecca for shoes as they will always stock the latest footwear trend, including the ever popular high heels up to so many inches that I could probably over estimate. Some shoes are colourful, exagerrated and a bit over the top perhaps. Although it’s such a glitzy store that generally draws in women, they do sell a small selection of men’s footwear — all of which are equal in quality as you would expect for a shop of this calibre. It wouldn’t take a genius to guess that prices are of course expensive but if you’re a twinkle toes person, Kurt Geiger is an attractive and classy store.

So yet another Kurt Geiger has opened in Liverpool, but this time on Church Street. This one is something quite different. The exterior of the store is exceptional, with glass pannelling displaying works of art, known in this case, as shoes. The brand name pervades the windows in a classy hot pink colour, drawing in shoppers. A smiling assistant waits at the door to welcome you. Once inside, you are free to roam round the plethora of unique shoes. If you’re looking for some beautiful footwear than this is the place to go. I’m not a fan of high heels because I’m already 5ft 10, but even I was enticed by their product and ended up investing in some nude-coloured classics. Without doubt, one of my favourite footwear stores.
