Whenever I go out for lunch(well. everyday since I don’t have a cantine at work!) I’m always looking for a place crowded by business men. Why? well, they are like truck drivers: always out for lunch, looking for good, healthy food in a short amount of time. Following this idea, it’s impossible not to stop at this place: it’s crowded of men in suit, shouting and raising their hands for getting food. Awesome! They have a nice selection of wraps, sandwiches, soups and take-away meals. Do not think you can eat there, as there’s no place at all! come, take and go! First time I suggest to go for a wrap, as the chicken wrap is not only good, it’s delicious!

Following multiple return visits, I’d say this has to be Five Stars. Here’s two reasons why: (1) They have a wrap which is basically a fish & chip meal (2) THEYHAVE A WRAPWHICHINVOLVES A CHICKENKIEVWOAAAAAH

Fabulous sandwiches, fabulous services, great wraps, make-their-own carvery, decent prices. When I work in the area, I do try to pop in. They’ve something of a bonkers queueing system that could really only work in Britain. You stand up and order by shouting when they ask who’s next. It’s all chaotic and a bit New York but it kind of works. Somehow. And man, are their carvery sandwiches good. The people? They’re super nice as well.

Awesome wraps, they’re absolutely massive! Only downside is the long waiting times if it’s a busy time, but this is standard fare in Shoreditch, however the staff are pretty well drilled so deal with it well.

Went in here for the first time and got the Texas Wrap, which was delicious and tasted like they had put their own unique spin on it. The carvery roasts they had on display looked amazing and I’ll be tempted to try them on my next visit. It’s a 20 minute brisk walk from work, but I feel like it’s worth the distance. One star knocked off for the frosty treatment received from the lady who served me(though to be fair, everybody else who worked there seemed to be very friendly and warm with customers).

You can get pretty much anything here, it’s cheap and the portions are huge. Best lunch place in the area, and once you’ve been you won’t touch pret with a bargepole.

One of Shoreditch’s best light lunch locations. I frequent this place about once a week due to it’s close proximity to my office although prior to working nearby I’d still make the odd special trip at lunch. With London currently freezing, the carvery sandwiches and selection of soups offer three things: Great value for money(£5), generous helpings and a hearty taste filled way to warm up. Two recommendations would be the carvery pork sandwich(my staple) and the spicy mulliatorny soup(Anglo Indian curried chicken). This place is always extremely busy at lunch time with people shouting their orders across rows of people(something i enjoy about it) but with the quick and multiple staff it does move quickly so don’t let that put you off. Quick tip — Whilst it may look like a free for all go to the counter on the left for wraps and the one on the right for roast /soups which will help speed up your service. Great food, decent portions and friendly efficient staff.

I work in the area and this is my go-to grab-n-go lunch spot. Definitely beats pret or eat I highly recommend ordering something off the specials menu as they put really good combos together, but you can always make your salad, sandwich or wrap to order as well. All their soups are really filling(large size) and come with bread(i like the sliced brown bread) My faves are: –chicken mulligatawny soup — spicy curry flavor –lebanese salad — hummus and falafel are delish –healthy choice wrap — comes with salmon and baby prawns They also have a carvery that looks amazing(i’ve yet to try it) and they do jacket potatoes. It’s really crowded between 1:00 and 2:00 and closes around 3. The people who work there are super nice and efficient.

We have a winner. I have just started working in Shoreditch and have been trying out all the lunch options nearby. I have just had a chicken mulligatawny soup from BLT and it was ridiculously good. Fresh, chunky, lots of chicken and veggies, nice and spicy. Yum. way way better than everywhere else I have eaten in the vicinity. The queuing system is manic and the place was packed but with good reason. And on hangover days, not that I have them ;-), the wraps look like carb loading heaven.

I first dropped in here one morning after seeing all the reviews here and enjoyed a Cumberland Sausage sandwich as a hearty breakfast. Right then I though it seemed alright, but the sandwichesjackets sounded pretty much the same as things you could find in a host of other places. I had reckoned without their specials. They have a lot of very different options when you go back at lunch time. This time I had an Aussie wrap, which is basically a burgerbut in a wrap. It tasted very very good and I was both full and content in equal measure. I might not forget my beloved subway as a previous reviewer suggested, but I have definitely broadened my options. Leave your business card and they will e-mail you their daily specials!

Another of my favourite places for lunch! Despite being so packed, the service is still very efficient. I love the wraps, in particular the Caesar and the Chicago ones. Great value!

You can keep your Subways and Prets — BLT smashes them out of the water making the best sandwiches in Shoreditch. Serving by friendly staff with fresh ingredients and very generous portions. If you’re hungry, try out the carvery wrap [pork crackling!!] also recommended is the prawn-salad sandwich, a turkey-bacon club and of course, a bacon-lettuce tomato sandwich.

A great place to get a wrap, a sandwich, or salad. Service is fab, and the portions are huge, which is why BLT, stands for, BIGLOADED and TASTY(hope I have got that right). Haven’t been in a while as I have been going to the new Pret, but I will definitely not forget my BLT.
