Really cute tea shop. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us after a seating mix up. The cakes are delicious, I would definitely return!

I came here for afternoon tea on my last day in London. We got Russian Caravan tea, cake, and eggs Benedict. The place is really cute, but a tad bit too small. I didn’t try the eggs, but carrot and chocolate cake were pretty good(not exceptional thought). Prices seemed okay for the area. Solid 4!

I love love love Candella Tea Room! It’s a small shop off Kensington High Street that is just filled with adorable knick knacks and cute tea pots. The selection of tea is very nice and afternoon tea is very affordable. My personal favorites are the Black Forest Rose Tea and the Dragon Jasmine paired with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam. The staff is also just lovely and very good at remembering customers that come in every now and then. Candella has really become my go to tea room and even ranks above more luxurious afternoon tea spots like Harrods.

Cozy place to grab a nice afternoon snack in a nice part of Kensington. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Crepes are amazing. I would recommend trying the Blue Lady Black Tea

Cozy tea room that is definitely worth a stop, and to date, the best egg finger sandwich that I’ve ever had. I came upon this place by accident but so glad that I did, I love afternoon tea and was en route to find a lunch place, so decided to pop in. The tea selection was the first clue that this place was a good find. This is a great non-chain place that is decorated with all the crystal, glass, and pastels that make a good tea room. I enjoyed the traditional tea service and was really impressed with the soft cooked egg sandwich, none of the already prepared egg salad stuffed into bread, it was fantastic. I wished I lived in London if only to enjoy lovely tea more often, and I would definitely enjoy here again.

In the search for cover from the rain, but not the usual chain coffee place, I ran into Candella Tea Room. It was an inviting quaint place, with homemade cakes and lots of choices for teas. For 7.50GBP I got a pot of green — lemon tea and a deliciously moist slice of lemon cake. If I am ever back in the area during tea time I will definitely pop by!

Trying to find a non-chain spot for a quick coffee and bite of cake, we came across the Candella Tea Room, which I never knew was here! A very small but cute place with that old timey feel of decorative plates and proper tea cups, it is about as far away from the Starbucks vibe as you could hope to get. I had a tasty Turkish Coffee, and my wife had Earl Grey. Both of us were happy with our drinks, but even more so by the delicious slice of cake we chose, and the reasonable price we paid. Charming and friendly, this couldn’t fit in better in Kensington!

What a charming and cozy little tea room! It seems like it’s been there for a while, but I don’t often wander up Kensington Church Street so it was new to me. Super friendly service, a homey atmosphere, yummy cake, & well made drinks(I had tea & the husband had coffee). Definitely a keeper!
