The reason why I have given this pub full stars has a lot to do with location as well as the chain of pub that it is. The Oystercatcher is superbly situated with views of the Penarth marina. Although I do have to drive to this pub, it is worth it, it’s nice to have a stroll around the marina and then end up at the pub for some food and drink.
Now Hungry Horse pubs are somewhat of a favourite of mine anyway, I love their menu, it’s pretty cheap, especially on weekdays when you can get two meals for £8. I get the roast chicken with potatoes and stuffing most of the time
