I like it here. It’s a no-​nonsense pub pub, if you know what I mean. It’s a local pub where non-​locals are made to feel friendly and welcome. I like to it outside on a summer’s day and watch the world go by. They have a contant range of good live acts playing on th weekend in the back room and he atmosphere is grand. Mix of young and old; it’s just a lovely pub. Not sure about the food as I haven’t sampled any, but I’ve heard good things. It’s in the heart of Penarth, but off the main highway.
