I love a Nero. And it was a great coffee. But the waiting and confusing service was longer than I’ve ever experienced. Which was a shame. They need a better system in this one.

Really enjoyed hanging out in this cool coffee shop for an extended period today while my wife was out on business. The coffee was excellent, the location entertaining, and the staff quite friendly. Loved the wi-​fi. Only reason it did not get the fifth star was because the store was dirty — not enough staff to keep up with things.

Formerly the Dyas hardware and do-​it-​yourself shop, this Nero has really transformed this space into a lovely coffee hangout. Hardwood floors, soft colors and exposed brickwork make it into an ideal place to sit and enjoy a cup while the world passes by on Broad Street.
Decent coffee, sandwiches and pastries (they seem to have a thing for chocolate muffins!). They have a panini press and will warm up a sandwich as well, though I don’t recommend it if you’re in a rush.
Power outlets here and there, the BT Openzone wifi is easy to access and free.
