Just opened, Caffe Pitti is a coffee, pastry and sandwich shop on Oxford Road at the North entrance to the Broad Street Mall. Booths and tables inside, there might be a table or two outside depending on the weather. Since there’s an overhang, you could sit here if it’s raining, but the crowds from the nearby bus stop might put you off.
Service is friendly and the coffee is reasonable. The place is very clean, possibly because it is brand new. They have lunch specials, such as a sandwich, drink and cake (or chips) for £4.95.
It’s okay. Nothing special.
