A fantastic place, one of those little understated places that if you walked past it you might just miss it! It’s quite small, cozy place and you might wait a bit longer for your food but it’s so worth it! The effort put into the food is apparent straight away. The food is absolutely superb and beautifully presented(as you can tell from the photo of the steak and lobster that I enjoyed!) This place serve fantastic locally sourced food at quite a reasonable price. You should definitely try this place out

Probably my favourite restaurant in Wakefield, it’s been gorgeous everytime we went. We’ve had the chilli, steak and lobster(there was a surcharge for this), and lamb, amongst others. There’s a bit more of a wait than you might get at other places but it’s definitely worth it. When we went it didn’t have an alcohol licence so we took our own wine, but since then they’ve got one. I think if you didn’t know this place was here you’d walk straight past it but you should definitely give it a go!

Lovely place: decent breakfasts, cooked well and with care by people who know how to cook. Not the poshest of ingredients they’re not butchers sausages, and it’s marge not butter on the toast, but for the price it’s sound enough Friendly, efficient staff. Best, most consistent sit-down breakfast in Wakey, in my book. Stand up is Hoffman’s by a mile but that’s another review

Sandwiched in the middle of a row of businesses it might be easy to miss this unassuming little café and even on entering you would be forgiven for thinking it’s nothing special. Then you see the warmth of the welcoming smile and you realise that the prices are very acceptable and the menu nicely varied, great. It is only on closer inspection that you would realise that Number 31 offers gluten free options and not only offers then but understands what gluten free actually means(and when 33% 0f your family have coeliac disease that matters). I’ve come across a few places that offer gluten free stuff and it’s often just salad or rice but here they offer gluten free sandwiches ANDDON’T PASSONTHEEXTRACOSTS to the diner. I am very impressed as gluten free bread is stupidly expensive.
