I tried this restaurant a few days ago about 8:45 pm and I’m glad I did! I fumbled through some basic spanish and was able to get what I needed and had a great selection of tapas. Opting for the buffet so I could try a bunch of things, each thing I had was delicious. When you walk in you can choose to sit at the bar(where the tapas are set out, you just grab a plate and pick what you’d like) or at one of the lower tables. I chose the bar and had a nice view of the TV which had a football game on and a view of the street to people watch as well. All in, for unlimited tapas and a beer was about € 17. Definitely recommend this tapas bar — it was busy but not crowded and the service was nice and did their best to communicate with me as much as I tried to communicate with them. The food was awesome, too!

Stopped in here for lunch on our first day in Barcelona and we were pleasantly surprised! The tapas style buffet was delicious and varied, each item costs only € 1.50 and has a wooden cocktail stick in it — simply keep the sticks and you will be charged accordingly! Delicious fritatta slices, warm chorizo and rich cheeses were just some of the choices available. Washed down with a delicious Estrella and it made for a very pleasant lunch!

a local popular tapas restaurant. crowded with big local group(s). the bike shop owner recommended it and reminded us to wait for the hot tapas. 1.4 euro per tapas and all you can eat tapas buffet is 16 euro.

Great little spot just a spit away from the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, which if you don’t know what that is, then you haven’t been to Barcelona. This place introduced me to Tapas. I opted for the buffet, which was a bargain considering how hungry I was. Some of the tapas included fresh fish which are housed in glass with temperature control to keep fresh. Staff was exceedingly friendly. And if your looking for good english speaking, stay home. I visited three countries and tried my hand at Italian, French and Spanish and got everything I needed. Top grade especially considering convenience to a tourist site, low cost relatively speaking(once again, very close to a major tourist site, think about it!), and speed of the meal when you opt for the buffet!

My wife and I stumbled upon this spot a few days ago, on the 2nd day of our honeymoon. We’ve been back twice and are planning to go back tonight. It’s two blocks away from out hotel(Hotel Sagrada Famila on Corsega) and had become our«last stop». The tapas are so much better than the normal touristy fare that you’ll find at about 1000 places all around Barcelona. The tapas range from the expected(cured ham and cheese) to the unexpected(salted fish stuffed peppers) to the I’m still not sure what that was and I kinda don’t really care(I think it was fried black pudding, and it was amazing). The price per tapa is 1,40 €. You grab a plate, load it up and the owned charges by how many toothpicks are on your plate. There’s an all you can eat price, but we haven’t done that yet. Out bill for 12 tapas, 3 glasses of wine and a bottle of water came out to about 23 €. What really blows us away is the owner and how much pride he takes in running a good restaurant. He’s always moving making sure the place is clean, the tapas are fresh and the drinks are flowing. When my wife left a shopping bag of new boots at our table he put them behind the bar and had them waiting once we realized that we left them. We’re still in the process of exploring this town and have been finding great places to eat all around the city. But our plan until we leave is to stop here every night for that last drink and snack.

Good food, good wine, good prices, idiosyncratic service. Inside and outside tables. The first place I’ve been to in Barcelona where the staffs’ English was worse than my Spanish. Still got good food and OK service.
