We went here because a hostess waived us in from the front, which was already a red flag since good food should speak for itself. The location is nice since it is right next to the Sagrada Família, but there is no out door seating from what I saw which was the downer. The food is mediocre and service so so.

Chicken skewers were amazing. Two ladies in our group shared a huge calzone. Everything was good, and prices were reasonable, especially considering the tourist location.

Overpriced for food that lacks flavor. If you come here it’s only for the location. I came here with my bf because we wanted to eat something before going to la sagrada familia. It looks nice. But don’t be fooled. There are so many good places to eat at in Barcelona so don’t waste your money or time on this one. I wish we’d known

If it wasn’t for the fishy tasting paella, I would have rated this place higher. The broiled chicken was fantastic, juicy and not dry! It is ashamed they didn’t take more pride in making their paella!

I ate here yesterday for lunch with my brother. I lived in this area for a few months so I’d actually eaten here a few times about 5 years ago and unfortunately it hasn’t improved. In general, the area around the Sagrada Familia is one of the worst for food and is quite expensive(I still wake up screaming when I dream about the time I paid 50 € for a round of 7 drinks!). The Avinguda de Gaudi is, however, just for the location alone — in sight of la Sagrada Familia and the under-rated and often overlooked Hospital de Sant Pau — a great place to have a drink or get something to eat and so we decided to just get something here(given the weather, we ate inside though). It’s basically a «jack of all trades», mainly Middle Eastern but also they have tapas and pizza and grilled/roasted meats. We went for a shared starter of hummus with shawarma(8.00 €). The hummus was nice — as I recall — but there was one pita bread between the two of us and the meat was not nice at all(greasy and fatty, overcooked. in theory, it was veal and lamb but I couldn’t taste that). The lack of pita bread meant that half the hummus was sent back. At the last minute I — foolishly — chose a shawarma main(11.50 €), assuming that they should be able to do it well. It consisted of one pita, some sort of yogurt/cucumber raita, some chopped cucumber and tomato and the same burnt, tasteless meat that we had earlier. Brother’s grilled chicken and chips was nice he said(he likes plain food though!). Staff were nice enough but I just can’t give this place more than 2 stars.
