I absolutely love this place. This was my first meal in Barcelona and definitely raised the bar super high. The pig ears, grilled octopus, and seafood paella are must-gets. The sangria is a bit on the stronger side, so personally, it wasn’t the best. My friends and I also tried a few other places with great tapas, but this place is still the top. :)

Delicious paella and sangria! Probably the best paella I’ve ever had… Only thing was that our table was definitely forgotten about and multiple tables that were sat and ordered after us received their food before. Ended up waiting an hour for food that is advertised to take only 30 minutes

1st night in Barcelona, We tried this restaurant because of Unilocal — and location We ordered a dry cheese app & a bottle of house wine — wine @ 9 euros was pretty decent. No bread was served, I thought that was odd Ordered the mixed Paella for 2 @ 10 euros pp. which I thought was just ok. I won’t be back To many other places to try here

The food was delicious and fresh, we had the chef’s suggestions: baked goat leg and chimichurri ribs. Both dishes came with French fries and were really good portions. The flavors for both dishes were really good, it was a different take on Spanish cuisine besides the paella and tapas. The chimichurri was a combination of sweet and salty flavors which was very different from your Argentinian chimichurri. We also had the almond cake which came with a side of almond liquor. The cake was really simple, a little sweet and a nice balance of almond flavor. We will be coming back to try the paellas.

I was on vacation in Barcelona, and my girlfriend and I were craving some good paella. Bosque Palermo came up on our Unilocal search, and we decided to try it. We definitely did not regret it. We ordered a salad and an order of their seafood paella. The paella is 10 euros per person, which I think is an amazing price for how much food you get. The salad was eh. They put too much dressing and it wasn’t anything spectacular. However, the main star was the paella. It takes 30 mins to make, so make sure to order it early, and to order some wine or appetizers to hold you over until then. But when it comes… The aroma itself was tantalizing. The seasoning was on point, the seafood tasted sweet and fresh, and the rice had a nice creamy consistency. Overall, it was the best paella my girlfriend and I had in Barcelona and Madrid. It is definitely a must-try if you’re in the area!

Delicious paella, refreshing sangria, and fantastic service! I went here twice while in Barcelona(I was only here for a 4 days), each time for dinner, because it was that good! Definitely make a reservation, or you’ll end up waiting 15 – 30 minutes for a table because the space is very cozy and there aren’t many tables. However, if you end up waiting, you can take a spot at the bar and get a head start on your sangria! As for food, I ordered the same thing each time(bad form, I know, but SO worth it): a meat paella and seafood paella and each time my mind was blown by how good it was! It’s a bit of a wait, but I took that as a sign that the food was being freshly made. The flavors in the paella are so rich, and each dish gives a generous serving of seafood/meat. As an added bonus: they have 4 euro bottles of house wine!

En voyage à Barcelone, nous avons testé la paëlla(en entrée sur la carte) de ce restaurant. Plat très bon à seulement 10 €/personne. Le vin n’est pas cher et très bon également(6 € la bouteille). Je conseille !

Amazing food. The first restaurant that I stopped for a meal in Barcelona. Very glad to have my first dinner in Barcelona at Bosque Palermo. I ordered pan con tomate(a Catalonian must!), a pitcher of sangria, and the seafood paella to share with two of my friends. The pan con tomate was perfectly crispy, and the tomato spread was thick and juicy. My group devoured it whole. It was 1,50 per person. The paella was very very fresh and it was gorgeously plated. We were given generous amounts of seafood(mussels, shrimp, squid and other chunks of seafood in the most fragrant broth. The service was fantastic and I left a happy customer. I paid about 12 euros for sangria, pan con tomate and paella. Definitely coming back and definitely referring people to come here to have their first taste of real Spanish paella.

Crappy service, and so-so paella. We got at the restaurant around 11PM, and we knew it closed at midnight. We knew what we wanted, so no need to look at the menu. We got the mixed paella. We had a game plan: order quick, take a few bites, get the rest to go, and Netflix & chill at the hotel. It took 25+ minutes for us to get our paella, so that kinda altered our plans a little. We knew fresh paella would take at least 20 min to cook, but that extra 5 min seemed forever. We got the piping hot paella, and was disappointed. Frozen, salty seafood! Not fresh at all, the shrimp had that frozen taste to it. The pork was good tho, very tender. The rice had an almost curry taste to it. ALSO, how do we serve paella without a spoon?! Our waiter only gave us forks– but we didn’t want to bother him for a serving spoon as he was too busy eating his dinner and smoking his cigarette. We are still on the hunt for a life-changing paella in this country.

Delicious paella with rich spices! They have quite a few varieties, seafood, meat, vegetable etc. I tried meat paella for the first time here and it’s really good! The rice is a bit al dente(firm). According to locals, it’s the authentic way of making it. I personally like fully cooked rice though… Their house wine is quite good! Definitely recommend a copa.

Fantastic food and lively atmosphere. The staff is attentive although they can be extremely busy any night of the week and you’ll have to fight for their attention. Food arrives quite fast even when they are busy. It’s a little noisy inside and near a busy road outside but the food is fantastic and worth it. Seafood Paella is great and I’ve had it twice now. Consistently excellent both times. They recently remodeled and the place looks clean yet still feels local and with a family restaurant atmosphere.

Absolutely without a doubt the best paella I’ve had — and I don’t even like seafood that much! The paella is for two people and comes with huge, fresh clams and shrimp among other things. Was recommended to visit this place by the hostel I was staying at and I was definitely not disappointed. A must try if you’re in Barcelona!

Had the best Paella in Spain at Bosque Palermo! Found this restaurant on Unilocal and the high rating is well deserved. Ordered some appetizers and the Paella Racion for 2(20Euro, see picture, seafood paella, it fed 4 of us), and Parilla Pescado(18 Euro, mixed seafood grill. Both were very good but the Paella was probably the best I ever had. Came on Friday night at 8pm without reservations but had no problem getting in. They do take reservations and I recommend you do. Highly recommended!!!

Mixed grilled seafood was my favorite. The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection. No hint of a fishy smell. The seafood in paella wasn’t as fresh as the seafood in the mixed grilled seafood.

My husband and I wanted to find a good paella restaurant since Barcelona is known for its paella. We searched on Unilocal and saw the high reviews so we decided to come. My experience was good and bad. If you are prepared to deal with the following, I think you would enjoy this restaurant. Negatives: be prepared to wait awhile before you get seated and finally eat your dinner. After we arrived, we patiently waited in line. I tried telling the waiter that we wanted a table for two but he was so busy that he buzzed right by me without paying any attention. There was no list, which made our experience even more frustrating. Two rude couples skipped right to the front to be seated. We were pissed because they totally cut in line. I wish there was more order to the wait process. I also wish that the staff had told us that we could wait at the bar and order drinks. When we arrived, the bar counter was busy w a lot of people so we waited outside. When the cutters went up front, they just sat themselves at the bar and ordered drinks. Tip: make a reservation before you arrive. In regards to the food, we ordered the meat paella. It was pretty good but a little salty. It took about 30 min plus to get our dish. They were pretty fast in serving our salad. I highly recommend that you order the mussels for about five euros. It was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was pretty nice and efficient. If you are prepared to deal with some seating drama and aren’t too hungry when you arrive, this place is perfect.

Would you like some paella with your salt? Sooooo salty it burns your tongue. People love this place and we can’t figure out why. Service was slow even by European standards. The people next to us were in love with this place and left us scratching our heads. So I don’t know if this review is very helpful. I do know I’ve had paella before that was much better than this. Good luck.

This place is a MUST when here in Barcelona. This was the best meal I’ve had during my whole trip to Spain! Sangria + grilled seafood,+paella= food orgasm. It’s a Monday night, and this place was still crowded and we had to sit outside. The sangria was probably the best I had here in my stay in Barcelona. It had the perfect blend of sweetness and spirits, just a wonderful mix with a slight kick to it. The grilled seafood platter is every seafood lovers dream. They were grilled to perfection and definitely not dry. And you can’t complain about the price with it being about € 16 – 18.A good sample platter of the Mediterranean sea! The paella was loaded with mixed seafood and was so fresh and delicious. The rice was fully seasoned and cooked just right. Warning: it does take a long time to come out since its made to order. This place is a must-go for anyone visiting here in Barcelona

The food I ate here has to be in the top foods I had my whole study abroad trip in Europe! My boyfriend and I came rather late(an hour before closing), but the whole restaurant was full, inside and out. We waited about 20 minutes until we were seated and ordered the seafood platter and the seafood paella. The platter came out a lot faster than the paella(which takes about 30 minutes to come out). By the time we were finishing the first platter, we were already full. But the paella is a must! We couldn’t finish everything so we asked if we can get it packed for takeaway. The wine here is incredibly cheap so we shared a whole bottle and I started feeling a little tipsy by the end of the meal. The service here wasn’t the friendliest or fastest, but the food completely makes up for it! If I am ever in Barcelona again, this will be my first stop.

The one thing I was looking forward to the minute i entered into Spanish property was to devour every grain of paella possible. But instead I decided to go to the best. I Unilocaled for Paella and went to the highest rated location which was Bosque Palermo. This place is located in the La Ramblas area mixed in with a thousand other tapas and paella joints. It is a small mom-and-pop location. You walk in and you will see a small bar on the left with a small tapas station. To the right and back is the dining area. I ordered the seafood Paella and got a ginormous platter only to be devoured within 20 mins. Their sangria was very strong but that’s how i like it. They also give you some bread to start but nothing special with that. Outside the restaurant are a few seats for outdoor eating, however with bugs and garbage and cars driving, it’s not really the greatest spot. Plus you have a bunch of old regulars sitting there smoking half the time. Keep in mind that to get the best food you must go to the more rustic locations. I miss Paella now after writing this.

Best seafood paella ever! And as if there wasn’t enough seafood already, we also had the mixed seafood plate! I can seriously eat this everyday! After a very unauthentic and boring paella on our first night here in Barcelona, this seafood paella from Bosque Palermo is definitely more in line with what I have expected. The rice was flavorful without being over-seasoned or salty and had the perfect chewy bite. There was plenty of seafood(shrimps, clams, mussels), and everything was very fresh tasting. The mixed seafood plate was equally tasty. The seafood was nicely grilled and lightly seasoned. There were cod, salmon, shrimp, mussels, octopus and clams. Our server spoke decent amount of English, and we ordered with no trouble. Per his recommendation, we also got a tiramisu gelato-y dessert to finish off the meal.
