My favorite tapas meal in Barcelona! You basically go to the bar and pick the tapas you want, and the waiter hears it up for you. The foie gras was perfect and every dish was mouth watering! It was like a high end cafeteria tapas experience! Loved it!

Very nice ambiance, and good service, near a busy area. The chef is very efficient, and flexible to provide anything the customer requests. Rumor has it a location could be coming to San Francisco. Imagine that. Definitely get the sangria here. It is quite good, and the seafood paella is better than than others nearby. Although, only the seafood available on the day which may not include prawns, clams, or mussels. ;)

Seriously this place was such a great find! We were looking to done in a pintxos bar but lunch time had most places swarming with people so we stumbled upon this small café and decided to wing it. The pintxos were terrific and had a modern flare to them. I believe this place one tapa of the year at some point(?) I love that you serve yourself there with them(keeps the original tradition alive! Just like in San Sebastian). They also have a full menu for real food if you’re über hungry. And everything on it looks delicious. The service was superb, A+ for such a pleasant experience!

The good: the food was very excellent. As an American it’s different and not what you’re used to. Tapas obviously are small plates. My advice, look at the different prices(each style of stick has a different price) and then grab some items, 2 – 5 depending on hunger level. All said my wife and I ate here, we each had 5 tapas and an item off the menu which we shared, plus 2 sangria’s and it was 60 € with the tip. The bad: the service wasn’t great. Our server was super helpful in the beginning but when we wanted another drink it was impossible. We sat waiting for 10 minutes trying to order a drink and got nowhere so we paid and left. Maybe that’s how the Spanish culture operates and I’m just an ignorant American. I’d give this place 5 stars if the server had been a little more attentive

Woah! Now that’s a sweet local treat. I was swayed by the other reviews but also unsure if it would live up to the reviews. The real gems are the ones you order. Sure you can grab the buffet items and have them heated up, but the items you want are definitely on the menu. We had a number of em, top marks for the octopus with truffle oil. You can’t go wrong here and great staff.

What a cute concept for a tapas bar! In addition to menu service(including tapas and meal plates), there is an area set up like a little buffet. Many times, menu pictures don’t do a dish justice, but that was no issue here. We got to see many different types of tapas laid out, and made our selections from there. On the«buffet» line, each plate has a different type of stick that indicates the price of the dish. The restaurant has a display on the wall with the cost of each type of stick — very similar idea to those rotating sushi bar restaurants, where each colored dish represents a different price. As you eat, you place the sticks in small metal cylinders at the edge of your table, and the server tallys up your sticks and brings you your check at the end of the meal. There were some wonderful sounding plates available off the menu, but I was so taken with the tapas buffet, I ended up getting most of my meal there. However, I did order the bravas off the menu and I was not disappointed. Delicious! On Trip Advisor, a reviewer mentioned how most dishes here are on the rich side. As someone who typically follows a stricter diet, I agree. However, when I travel I enjoy trying different kinds of food, food I can’t get at home. I really feel like I got that experience at Teleferic(… that’s saying a lot because I live in LA and you can get anything here). You can always hit up the local market the next day and get yourself a great serving a fruits and veggies. One decadent meal won’t ruin you. :) PLUS it’s tapas, not Claim Jumper. Small portions, people. This is not a cheap restaurant, but the price point was very fair for the quality, ambiance, and service we received. I walked away from dinner satisfied, not stuffed, for around 48 euros(that included two drinks!). Tip: GETTHECAVASANGRIA. You will be so happy you did.

Delicious little tapas bar! All of the waitresses and waiters spoke English. Everything was fresh and tasty. I had the octopus with guacamole, fried calamari, and shrimp on a little baked cake of potatoes. The service was fast and the mojitos are a must.

Stylish, modern tapas restaurant/bar offering small tapas from the Bar and bigger«dinner portions» from the A’la carte list. Both recommended.

Wonderful small tapas place in Eixample, close to our hotel. We came very early for dinner(7pm, early by Spanish standards) and were literally the only people in the restaurant for a while. The waitress put us at ease and helped us pick out the best pieces. Food was delicious and the wine was amazing as well. Will definitely come back to this place when we are in Barcelona again. (Note: I give 5 stars to the top 5% of experiences, 4-stars for top 10%)

This was our first meal in the city and a nice introduction to pintxos. The servers spoke English and explained how things work(hot pintxos need to be heated up by the kitchen).

I came to this tapas place because it was recommended by my Airbnb host, who mentioned that Mark Zuckerberg had recently been there(not sure if that’s a good thing or not, though!). I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly by a friendly server who went ahead and explained how ordering food worked. But first I asked for a refreshing caña. The food system is basically buffet style, where a wide variety of tapas are set on the bar and you pick them up, and each one comes with a specific«pin» on it. The pin represents the price of the tapa and you’re charged on the number and type of pins you have at the end of your meal(kind of like one of those boat sushi restaurants). I had a few delicacies, like crab salad and a couple of foie gras tapas. Xavi, the manager, recommended ordering the octopus from their a la carte menu and that was definitely the highlight of my meal. He was super friendly and recommended a few night spots to visit after. I’d come back just to try more of the tapas they have to offer, tech magnate present or not.

But you also have menu so you dont need to take food from the open table :-) Enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner here! You all deserve the best!!!

Incredible meal! We Unilocaled this restaurant and it had good reviews so we set out and walked there. Great part of town and the restaurant itself is very nicely decorated. Modern on one side and traditional on the the other. We had the octopus with truffle sauce and it was«to die for»!!! Everything was great there. The service was exceptional as well. We met one of the owners, Maria, and she was very nice and even spent time with us to tell us other places to go. I would highly recommend this place!!!

These were the best tapas of our stay in Barcelona. We had to wait abut fifteen minutes on a Sunday night at about 9 just for two seats at the small bar. A local family with young children arrived after we did. If you sit at the bar, the tapas are self-serve which means you get to peruse the large selection(70 items or so) at your own speed. The reviewers who characterized this as analogous to dim sum are spot on — the host counted skewers and plates to come up with the bill. Most memorable at this point a week, and many tapas later, are the grilled octopus and the foie gras, a croquette of bacalao was delicious but would have been better warm. An item similar to an eggplant rollatini was also delicious. Garlic prawns are cooked to order and arrived hot and savory-a bit pricier than the others, but a good sized portion. I had two wines, my wife one and we were comped to a glass of cava at the end, a really nice touch.

Our hotel staff recommended this place and made us a reservation. We walked in and were seated right away. Our server spoke english which was a plus!!! We had garlic prawns, bravas and coco bread. All three tasted great. The most amazing was my drink, mojito a la fresca. It was yummy and served in a mason jar. Overall great experience

Great restaurant! After being in Barcelona for 3 weeks, we were looking for a nice but affordable tapas buffet and definitely found it here. The tapas are laid out on the buffet, marked by price, and all look /taste beautiful! Price is really what you make it, because the tapa prices very, but is definitely affordable. All in all, I will be coming back to try more in the future

Finally landed in Barcelona and was famished! My sister and I headed to this popular spot that was highly recommended by someone who lived in the area. To our great surprise, this restaurant was one of the most memorable restaurant experiences we had in Barcelona. The array of food selection and creativity in their dishes will keep you wanting to come for more. To top off the experience, the retaurant’s hospitality is above par in Barcelona. You’ll feel so warm and welcomed at this place that it will fool you to believe that this is how it’s always is in Barcelona restaurants and service industry. However, you’ll soon find out that not all Barcelona restaurants tend to their customers like Teleferic. Come vist and find out for yourself.

This was our last dinner in Barcelona as the other tapas bar we were going to go to was full. I was actually pretty impressed with the quality of the food v. Cost. They have different skewers that are priced differently. You can see on the sign they have up on the wall. It ranges from 1.65 pounds from the cheapest to 4.55 pounds. I ordered the anchovy, roasted eggplant, tomato, pepper bruschetta, the brie walnut and honey bruschetta and the cream cheese with peach and walnut on bread. It was actually quite filling and was 8 pounds in total. They also have different things like salmon rolls, foie gras, vegetable tempura etc. as a vegetarian, the selection wasn’t bad and it was definitely reasonably priced! Overall, I recommend this place if you’re in the area!

Our first dinner in Barcelona was this wonderful spot not too close to all the action but still convenient. The foie bite was one of the best tastes I have ever enjoyed. Choices that are great but just short of overwhelming. Polite and helpful staff. Very busy on an early Friday night. Glad we made reservations.
