I loved this place and I thought the food and the wine were delicious. We had dinner here while we were staying at the hotel and it has a very laid back atmosphere, nicely decorated and wonderful lighting. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a very good cocktail menu and if you’re pescatarian or vegetarian, you will definitely be able to eat here. I would go again!

Avoid this place like the plague! The hotel is spectacular and their own restaurants like Salt are far superior. The service is slow, the food is overpriced and the cocktails are watered down. I have tried this place three times and it just gets worse. I really wanted to love it– please save yourself the aggrevation — too many great dining options in Barcelona to waste time here.

Terrible service and food. They said this food was highly rated but the flavored were subpar and unfortunately a entrée is not worth $ 40 here.

Service great. Food, typical hotel food. The menu is totally boring, Cute waiters and great service can not make up for the completely bland food. I expected so much better, even though it is a hotel.

In a word Wow! Paid only a little for what was high quality food and stellar service. Phillipo, our Italian waiter from Milan, told us he had only been working at Bravo for 10 days, but to us, seemed like a lifetime. His suggestions were spot on, but how could you not listen to an Italian’s opinion on food and be disappointed. We surely were not. And even though we showed up at the last 30 mins the restaurant was open, he never made us feels rushed, but rather made us his special guests. Now for the food… The tapas: Bomba, chicken and ham croquettes. Devine! Started with the grilled vegetables and finished with the plate licking meat casserole. The wine was a steal: 6 euro a glass for delicious Rioja. And in the end… wish I caught the name. Six little warm chocolate balls of heaven. They started with a ‘b’ on the menu, but after I had one, I forgot my own name. :) And paid around 100 euro for it all. When I come back to Barcelona, I am coming to see Phillipo! And you should too! Thank you Bravo! Cant wait to return for an Encore!

Bravo is a great place to go if you want to splurge, and you should. The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere just adds to the experience. When we were first perusing the menu and saw the assortment of olives for 8 euro, we thought it was ridiculous. But, hey, we love olives so we ordered them anyway. Little did we know that a huge platter of 8 different types of olives would arrive. They were all great but the ones that tasted like they were soaked in butter changed my life. I could not stop eating them, and when the server brought me more, I actually told him that I loved him. Yeah, they’re that good. The Iberico ham was probably the best I’ve ever had and the ham and cheese croquettes were also tasty. I had never had sea cucumber before so I decided to try it for my main course. It was fantastic. It tasted similar to calamari but I loved the coal fired preparation. I think my choice won when it came to main course selections but I also tried the veal stew and the monkfish. The veal stew was rich and delicious. The monkfish was not my favorite but still very good. It’s clear that they’ve put a lot of thought into the cocktail menu as well. The drinks were well balanced and the presentation was very well done. All in all, dinner at Bravo is a great experience. Now if I could just find more of those olives…
