This food was completely inedible. I’m actually shocked I didn’t get sick. I ordered a goat cheese salad that came with soggy lettuce and no goat cheese — just mozzarella. The mussels tasted like they had just been pried off the rocks. They were steamed with absolutely no flavor to the broth. Do nottttt come here.

Trudging back from another long day of touring, we peeked inside and it looked good — there were diners at 4pm(tourists? yes). Service was friendly menu is easy so we ordered our favorite beverage — Cava Sangria, it was excellent here, really bubbly and delicious. For tapas, we had garlic shrimp, octopus, jamon Iberico and my wife ordered the sweet prawns, all very good. Prices are reasonable. Recommended, will come back if in the area.

Yuck. Everything we got here was… not good. Ordered some crab legs, which turned out to be croquettes(that I don’t think had crab in them), manchego cheese plate(which turned out to be soft and kind of slimy), Russian salad(mayonnaise doused mystery contents), and bread with tomato(which was soggy bread smothered in tomatoes and olives). Service was fine but would not recommend anyone coming here for a good tapas experience.

On our last night in Barcelona, we were looking for a different restaurant, but after taking a wrong turn off La Rambla, stumbled upon Colom. This was a lucky turn, because this was the best dinner out of our week in Spain. The meal was great all around. The first plates of jamon and grilled asparagus were delicious, and the vegetable paella(my wife does not eat seafood!) was even better. To top it all off, the house wine was very good, the service was very friendly and attentive, and the prices were great. Highly recommended.

The place we wanted to try was closed. We found this place not too far away. Looked inviting, and we were hungry. Décor was sort of like a pub. Very pleasant. Ordered the paella here. The server seemed to think it was awesome. Well… it was OK. Not great, but OK. Service was adequate. Again, not great but OK. Can’t really give this rave reviews. It wouldn’t be my first choice if we returned here, but one could do worse.

Quiet spot to get away from a busy street. Nice servers. Too much mayo on everything.

This was a good recommendation from our apartment manager. We had the Paella with three Tapas special at a reasonable price. The Paella was excellent with plenty of fresh seafood and a nice taste.

After waiting for 2 hours we had the worst paella ever. It was salty and made with frozen vegetables. It tasted(aside from the salt) like chicken stock not saffron. Later I was to find out that most of the restaurants use frozen paella which they just reheat. Of course we were hungry and walking trying to find a place that had a reasonable cost for dinner. My advice keep walking about another 20 feet heading towards Las Ramblas there is a large plaza filled with many places. While I can not talk to their quality or lack there of you might have a better chance of eating decently.
