Tucked into a side street off Las Ramblas, this is an awesome, lesser known spot to try unique beers from all over the world.
Bartenders speak multiple languages and are knowledgable about the beers origins and tastes.
They also have smaller tapas plates and mixed drinks (strong!) for those who are not beer drinkers.
I would definitely return.

This place is perfection. I was so so so happy to stumble upon this gem in Barcelona. As an American, from Michigan… we noticed the Founders beer sign in the window so we HAD to pop in. So glad we did! They had FOUNDERS ON TAP! And they had bottles of KBS and Blushing Monk! Come to find out, a few weeks ago they had a Founder’s tap takeover there too! On top of everything, they had the most amazing selection of sours — even Cantillion!!! Seriously, this place is amazing — I wish it was my corner bar.

Excellent place! They have 15 different taps from all over Europe and they also have beer cocktails. I had a delicious beer from Denmark that was a Weiss style. The guys working there were really nice and very knowledgable about beer. Worth a stop by!

Finding an IPA in Europe over the last 2 weeks has been impossible until now. Buxton IPA is a lot like the northwest IPA I have been craving. Yay!

Thank you Unilocal!I did a beer bar search while in Barcelona and this place came up with raving reviews. My brother and I popped in not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised to see a wide array of beers on tap. There was a few Mikkeller taps (which I took full advantage of) along with a lot of other Europe based beers. Them seemed to have a rotating tap model so I’m sure the experience will be different depending on the time of year.
The staff was not overly friendly but they were not rude either. They spoke enough English to make the transactions easy. It’s only a a block or so off of the touristy area but it feels more like a locals place.
Worth checking out if you’re into beer and want to experience some European craft beer. Random fact, they had a bottle of Vieille Artisanal Saison from Crooked Stave on display. Kind of weird to see a Denver brewery in Barcelona.

Kælderkold — cellar cold in Danish — is a small cozy hipster beer bar serving international beers.

Lots of good beers on tap, with one lambic present for us tart lovers. A kind of hospitalesque aesthetic and narrow space makes it not super great for staying for hours at, but definitely good for a quick pint.

Esta cervecería de nombre impronunciable para un negado de los idiomas como yo, se ha convertido en una de mis cervecerías favoritas. Ubicada en pleno centro es una buena opción fuera de los típicos locales para guiris con cerveza rubia normalita.
Aquí encontrarás 15 tiradores que van cambiando con cervezas artesanas nacionales e internacionales.
Al principio del local se encuentra la barra donde podrás ver en sus pizarras qué birras tienen pinchadas en ese momento, su procedencia, graduación y el precio por pinta y media pinta.
Si te adentras en las profundidades, ya que el local se abre a lo largo y hacia abajo, como si de una bodega se tratase, encontrarás una zona con mesas y sillas y una decoración bastante molona, con un montón de cojines rockeros. Es un espacio bastante confortable y donde se te puede ir el tiempo sin darte cuenta entre charla, cervecitas y buena música. Eso sí, hace mucho calor, y aunque tienen un ventilador, no resulta suficiente cuando hay mucha gente.
A este último pero, hay que sumarle el de sus precios. Si bien las cervezas ya de por sí son un pelín caras, el total se dispara si te apetece acompañarlas de algo para picar. Y cuando digo picar me refiero sencillamente a unas aceitunas, almendaras o un poco de queso.
Quitando esta última apreciación, por lo demás bien merece la pena ir de vez en cuando a ver qué cervecitas tienen pinchadas.

What an amazing hidden gem. Tucked away behind the Gotic Catedral Pretty hipster … but us 40 something’s blended right in. Gonza is a great mixologist — bartender and so personable. Please support this local place they deserve all

Si bien Gracia y l’Eixample están bien surtidos de cervecerías artesanas, al centro aún le faltan espacios para degustar unas buenas birras de verdad… pero afortunadamente el Kaelderkold llena ese vacío!!! Justo al lado de La Rambla, increíblemente no estaba atestado y con bastante clientela local, con 15 tiradores, una barra muy elaborada y buena música (sonaba Muse a tope). Al fondo hay una especie de sala con cojines de bandas de rock que provoca llevarlos a casa y los chicos del local, muy majos se acercaron un par de veces a ver que todo estuviera bien o si necesitábamos más chervecha.
Me gustó que había pizarras tanto en la sala como en la barra, así que puedes tomar la decisión sin acercare a los tiradores y que estén especializados en cervezas escandinavas como las Dugges o las Mikkeller, supongo que de ahí el nombre que suena a pariente de Björk o banda de death metal noruega.
Ah! También hay cócteles y unas beertequilas o algo así! Habrá que probar…

Bön lloc si estàs per les Rambles i vas cercant per un lloc a on beure una bona cervessa artesana. Amb 14 tiradors la seva oferta es molt bona, amb tipus que pràcticament poden contentar qualsevol gust. El lloc es petit, però ni te deixis enganyar, si tires cap al fons tenen una petita sala amb unes quantes taules. A més a més serveixen còctels de cervessa, una cosa que si menys no es una curiositat avui per avui. No he tengut el plaer de tastar les tapes, pero tenen bastanta bona pinta.

Si vienes al centro a comprar o a pasear este es un lugar obligado de paso para los buenos cerveceros!!! Una seleccion de cervezas muy especiales pero muy buenas, fuera de lo comun algo diferente en esta ciudad cada vez mas asquerosa!!!

I had a great time at this bar!!! You have to come see it for yourself! The prices are AWESOME! The quality of the beer is really good as well! I think the service is perfect and the bartender is very nice and knowledgeable! I wish we found this place day 1!!! And there’s FREE STRONG WIFI!

This is a great little bar for craft beer in the Ramblas area. The bartender knew a lot about each beer and the selection was wide. I’d recommend this for any beer snobs who want to get away from the Estrella culture.

Klderkold es la nueva cervecería de moda en Barcelona: abrió en mayo y los cerveceros estamos de enhorabuena porque sólo ofrece las mejores cervezas artesanales. Constantemente se renuevan los bidones con nuevas cervezas (en sus redes sociales informan de ello) y acad fin de semana suele haber dj’s y eventos (House of Klderkold o Kubical) con música bue-​ní-​si-​ma.
La barra de la entrada invita a quedarse e ir probando diferentes cervezas (los camareros y el carismático Mads, su propietario, te aconsejan) pero hay que bajar también a charla o bailar a la parte inferior del local!
¡¡¡Un must para cerveceros de la ciudad!
