Most awesome street bar ever. Sangria is amazing and only 2,50 a glass. You can get take away and walk around the streets with it. Did this every day several times. We found ourselves here every day. Super cheap! But if you want them to tap an American bill to the wall, have more than a 5 they won’t haha

I sought this place out for three nights before I found it open and was so happy that I did. My first visit was in 1972, and while a lot about Barcelona and Spain has changed since then, the Kiosco remains the same. Places like Kiosco La Cazalla are definitely what traveling is all about! A Barcelona institution since 1912 it’s well worth visiting for its unique character and fun atmosphere. There’s a real sense of place here. Nothing more than a streetside bar /stand, it serves drinks and snacks but reminds you that you are in Barcelona. Off beat and original with a great bartender and friendly customers. Don’t be put off by the rundown alley it’s located alongside of and stop and have a shot of fermented raisin liquor. The flashing lights and bullfighting poster make for an ambiance that could not be simply created overnight. For a true taste of Barcelona visit the Kiosco.

This extraordinary counter alley bar has been open since around 1912 and is a Barcelona tradition. The drink from wince its name comes from is an extremely powerful unique shot of fermented raisons that really pack a punch. No, I mean really! We came here several times and it wasn’t open. I think it closes at 8PM, but don’t quote me on that. The bar tender was really friendly. The alleyway traffic was interesting to say the least. The disco ball and loud music spill over into the alley and people just stand at the bar or near it. They serve beer and other mixed drinks as well as Cazalla and you get little tapa servings of olives and chips and other things for free while you party and your back pain gets numbed out by natural raison goodness. Come enjoy and participate in this unique Barcelona tradition. Don’t forget to check out the poster advertising(the greatest bull fighter of all time) Manuel Laureano Rodríguez Sánchez’s last fight where died from being gored to death by Miura bull Islero on the fifth day of completion that adorns the small wall behind the counter by the t-shirt stand.

Cute little counter off on a mini alley leading to Las Ramblas. I have to say, it’s cute and cheap! I remember shots were 3 euros, beer is 1.5euro and bf got the tequila boom boom shot for 2 euro(tequila shot + tonic and the bartender would shake it).haha fun!
