Tried to keep off this street and especially scam artists such as the people working at this place. But we just stopped for a quick beer, thinking it couldn’t go wrong. No drink list at the table, they didn’t have any.
Ordered small beers, got 1 litre glasses. Turned it down but they refused to change the beers and got very hostile. Started talking in their walkie talkies, getting their friends ready if we should «try anything…»
The price for the two beers? 16 EUR. We paid and left, or there would have been trouble.

Das war leider ein eher enttäuschendes Lokal. Augrund der Tourimeile Las Ramblas ist es hier nicht billig, das war uns aber von vornherein klar. Leider stimmt aber auch die Qualität nicht. Wir probierten verschiedene Tapas wurde aber komplett enttäuscht. Alles war sehr fettig und schmeckte nicht so gut.

Wir wollten nur was trinken. Es gab draussen Getränke wie Bier und Sangria nur in 1 Liter Maßkrügen. ½ Krug Sangria 9,80 € und ½ Krug Bier 7, 00 €. Ich war echt geplättet. Touri-​Preise auf der La Rambla.

This is a major street with lots of restaurants competing for your EUR, this particular one was promoting 3 tapas + paella, 3 tapas + pizza, or 3 tapas + spaghetti plus dessert for EUR 7.95 per person, but then you’re expected to order drinks which were jacked up prices of EUR 6 each. When we balked at that, and I said no drink for me, they lowered the inflated price to EUR 4 each, which was still high, but acceptable. Seating outside or inside, free wifi inside and outside. They didn’t allow us to select the tapas, and just brought it out. We ended up with six tapas, a paella, a pizza, a beer, and a diet soda. The tapas for the most part was pretty good, the paella looked lacking, a shallow paella pan, but the seafood paella tasted fairly good, less rice, the pizza was just so-​so, passable, but I would just order another paella instead of a pizza. The flan dessert was pretty decent I thought, giggly, which I seek out, but suspect it was not so rich in custard, more watered down and a bit of cornstarch. We concluded that it was a fairly decent meal for their price.

Sorry aber geht garnicht. 16 Euro für ein Glas Sangria ist zu viel. Abzocke pur.
