Maybe because I speak Spanish I had a much better experience.
The waiter was very pleasant and gave some excellent recommendations. Polite and well spoken with small amounts of chatter which is always appreciated when you’re shoving food down your gullet.
The food was fantastic. Came here twice. Once for the parrillada and another time for the pork chops. Both on point in regards of taste and amounts. The salad came with green olives so that’s automatically a win for me. Haha
The atmosphere is very calm. Awesome designs and ornaments on the walls. The music is little to be desired when they’re playing pop music (I expected some Catalan or Spanish music), but not unbearable.
Definitely eat here.

Conventional given the local context but nonetheless a good pick.
At EUR 33.00, Roda’s seafood paella for two could easily feed four. Pickled anchoas and boquerones paired beautifully with the Spanish omlette.

I enjoyed the food. It wasn’t the best in Barcelona, but definitely worth the discount that I paid. 29 € for 2 people came with 24 calçots, butifarra, churrasco, pollo, conejo, a bottle of wine, and dessert!!! WOW! what a bargain.
I had bought the deal on one of those online discount websites. I expected it to be ok, but it was actually pretty good. The chicken was juicy and tender. And the calçots with romesco sauce were DELICIOUS! Everything else was alright, not bad at all. I left satisfied.

Restaurante de estilo rústico, paredes de piedra y decoración campestre. Cocina tradicional y de mercado. Especialidades en carnes a la brasa aunque tienen un bacalao ‘à la llauna’ muy bueno por 13,50 €. También tienen caracoles ‘à la llauna’ a 10,50 €. El solomillo de ternera está a 18,90 €. Una parrillada de carne (2 personas) por 30 € y un menú de entrante+plato+postre que está a 20 €.
