I can’t say enough about this place. The food and service were impeccable. We had tapas and a bottle of wine, finished by dessert. Our server went above and beyond, he was very helpful making great suggestions. Each tapas is about 6−10e and we shared them between the four of us. Our bottle of wine was 15e which I thought was very reasonable. My favorite tapas were the ham croquettes, hummus, and sausage casserole. Everything was perfect. Great atmosphere as well. 5 star place.

I’m sure most people stay in the center of cities when they visit. I definitely like the outskirts. It’s less touristy. You get to see a bit more of what the locals do. And you get to find hidden gems. Like MesDvi.
MesDvi is in my friend’s neighborhood, and he suggested we come here one night while we were in town. After a bit of sangria in the center of Barcelona and a dinner of arepas, we headed back to the outskirts to give this wine bar a try.
We were so glad we did. The place is incredibly charming and definitely a place to bring dates if you have them. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and they spoke English very well. We all started with some wine tastings which was four small glasses of wine for 5 Euros. It was quite the bargain. We then moved on to a bottle of wine that we all loved so much we ordered a second bottle. We basically just sat around drinking wine, chatting and playing card games until quite late. And they didn’t kick us out either even though they probably should have.
We didn’t have any of the food, but if it’s as good as the wine they offer, this is definitely a winning place. It’s quite near the conference center, so I imagine it could be a good place to go if people are there conferencing.

A tremendous new wine bar run by two sommeliers. Near the convention centre, but worth the trip from downtown Barcelona. Great selection of wines by the glass at 1.5 to 4 euros, with strength in wines of Catalunya, but with good representation of wines from other areas of Spain and other countries. Good small plates as well. Very welcoming. Was there almost every night I was in Barcelona for a conference and brought several others there as well. All had the same, very positive reaction to the spot.
