Houston, TX
Delicious tapas in small, intimate, yet modern upscale setting. The flavors aren’t anything innovative or mind-​blowing but are yummy enough. It’s on the more expensive side, but my friend I enjoyed the bacalao and some sort of rucola and prosciutto dish. I’d say 3.5 for food. Great location near las Ramblas gives it an additional 0.5 star.

Para ser una franquicia y estar situada en el centro no esta mal, tiene tapas clásicas que no están mal ejecutadas y jamón ibérico que esta muy bueno.
No seria el lugar donde iría si tengo que llevar a alguien y quiero que conozca la gastronomía de aquí de verdad, pero como sitio de paso cuando estoy por la zona y es cuestión de comer algo que este bien sin perder mucho tiempo y con comida que este bien teniendo en cuenta la relación calidad/​precio.

Nos acercamos a este local para probar sus especialidades. El local tiene dos plantas. Es acogedor y en la planta superior hay espacio para grupos (6 – 10 personas). Hemos probado los embutidos, bravas, pimientos del padron, croquetas, etc. La calidad excelente y buenos precios. Tienes terraza y puedes tomarte un cocktail o una copa. Volveremos, un gran acierto en el centro de Barcelona

This was the first place we stumbled upon our first day in Barcelona! We were very pleased with the service and the food. If you’re looking for a local spot, this is not it but still very tasty and extremely affordable! We liked it so much we went twice!

Dear Tourists — please skip this restaurant! This has tourist trap written all over it. The fact that they have piña colada’s, strawberry daiquiris and Mai Tai’s on the «Spanish» menu should tell you all you need to know. We had much much much better food in Barcelona.
We also had the seat closest to the kitchen. There is no chef, only a line cook preparing the mostly pre-​made food. GF ordered the soup. We saw it come out of a boxed carton, like two buck chuck. That went into the microwave and then was served directly to us. I ordered the Iberico ham and specified mozzarella cheese. I got salami and brie instead. Didnt complain and ate only half, i had much better at other restaurants, even other touristy ones.
At least the servers were all pleasant!
Check my other reviews for places recommended by a local friend which were much much better.

Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, Canada
On my First family trip to Barcelona, we had been looking for a place to grab a drink with dinner and just so happened to (LUCKILY!) pass by this restaurant. Looked fairly modern from the outside so we ventured in. We shared some lovely tapas (foie gras, mixed cheese, sliced meats, mixed salad and a turkey sandwich). The waitress helping us also spoke fluent english (not easy to find in Barcelona– in my experience) and was very pleasant to us throughout the night. Highly recommended. Would definitely visit again on my next trip.

Only food that can be cooked in less than 5 minutes. Sangria is mediocre. Location is great, but expect to pay a premium for it.

Food wasn’t great. Had salads and some tapas. Not particularly fresh or inventive. The worst part was getting violently ill the next morning, which ruined the last day of my vacation. I suspect it was the anchovies with red pepper. My husband didn’t have any, and he was fine.

In einer Paralellstraße des Passeig de Gracia befindet sich dieses Tapas-​Lokal. Wir haben es aufgrund der — nicht deutschsprachigen — Einträge hier auf Unilocal ausgewählt.
Das MasQMenos verfügt über eine große Anzahl von Plätzen auf der Straße. Die Karte umfasst verschiedene Angebote. Wir haben uns für die «Raciones» Schinken und Käse, Cava, Weißwein und einen Nachtisch entschieden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient — die Bedienung spricht auch englisch — und erhielten extrem leckere Speisen. Die Preise waren angemessen, Schinkenauswahl und Käse zum Niederknien.
Hier muss man hingehen, ein absoluter Tipp!

A nice place for sandwiches, salads, or cold tapas. Nice selection of hams and cured meets. Outdoor seating is great for enjoying your wine/​beer/​sangria at leisure. We had the Jamon Serrano, tortillas (Spanish — egg, potato, and lots of olive oil), and a nice mesculin pine nut salad. All tasted great. The white wine and the tinto de verano were appropriately good.

SO happy to see this place has 5 stars; deservingly so.
My bf and I stumbled upon this place while trying to eat at Cerveceria Catalana, which had over a 1-​hour wait. We headed to MasQMenos to grab an app and glass of Cava (local sparkling wine) while we waited to heal our grumbling stomachs. We never went back to Cerveceria Catalan for our reservation and had one of the most romantic nights of our vacation.
We ate the meat plate (I don’t remem what it was called!)– various types of salami and iberico ham with breadsticks and bread drizzled with olive oil and an orderof olives. We each had a glass of wine as well. Everything was delicous and we were not rushed at all. Other diners next to us got some kind of panini or flatbread with salmon that looked fresh and delicious.
I would DEFINITELY recommend a stop at this restaurant for lunch or dinner– prices were also very reasonable. We walked nearby after our light dinner for churros and chocolate at Café & Te, which made for an «authentic» and wonderful first night. I would have come back to MasQMenos again if we didn’t have so many other places to try. Definitely make it one of your stops and order the ham plate (pictured).even if you don’t generally eat such things at home and order a glass of cava– it’s cheaper than the water.

While visiting the mall, a friend and I decided to grab a bite to eat at MasQMenos. I definitely recommend this spot and I wish that they had locations in the United States. I had jamon iberico de bellota y brie and the mezclum gorgonzola, jamon iberico de ballota y nueces. Both tasted like heaven and the portion sizes were spot on. I’d go back and try more items if I could. They have a selection of beer, wine, and coffee as beverages and also offer sparkling water. If you’re looking to try tapas, this place is a sure bet.

The Jamon Iberico sandwhich here is fantastic (ham). the obsession with good quality ham in Spain means that we as consumers are in luck, because we are served some of the finest Jamon in the world. The café/​restaurant is in a great location, having both indoor and outdoor seating, fun to people watch while enjoying great food. They also have a Catalan pizza that is interesting, and some good cheese plates and salads. The service was very welcoming and friendly, we will be coming back soon

En Barcelona, tengo que reconocerlo, me cuesta encontrar sitios donde comer algo, es decir, ni comer una p*** mierda ni comer un montón a un precio desorbitado. En este lugar sirven cocas y bocadillos a un precio considerado teniendo en cuenta donde está situado. La decoración es agradable, y el servicio pues el estándar de Barcelona.

This place is FANSTASTIC! Especially if you are a meat lover like us! You can find some of the best cured meats, small plates and beer /​wine in town. We did not ask for sangria, so not sure they serve it, but you can check it on the web site if interested.
We came to this place after a very sub par experience at Tapas 24. Ordered the platter with cured meats, which came along with 4 pieces of bread covered with toamatoes and olive oil (which was not supposed to be included based on menue). We tried the red wine and beer, both quite nice and fairly priced. Service was very good and personal. One staff memeber spoke English and she was pretty good at it. Rest of staff were all smiles.
We are definitely going to MasQMenos again tomorrow for our last dinner in Barcelona. It was such a treat to find this place that we want to experience it once more before we go :)
