My husband and I ate there on 10÷19÷15 for lunch. The food was just below average for a Barcelona tapas restaurant. The problem was that we received our chicken tapas and after the first bite realized that there were 3 perfectly placed beard or pubic hairs right on top of our food. It was obviously on accident. We had been very polite and there was no problem. Apparently they did not like seeing two married men dinning together and holding hands. They removed the dish from our check and the chef smoked outside while watching our table. We left immediately. It was a very, very disturbing episode to say the least. It tainted our entire trip to Barcelona.

First time trying tapas in Spain Ordered a bunch of dishes and they were all great. Anchovies in olive oil was a little strong for our palate, but I’m glad we tried it. Dessert was tapas style as well.

My favorite restaurant in my stay in Barcelona. Great fresh food. Great service but only if you sit in the bar. That way you also get to see what the locals order and it may seem attractive interesting.

Ended up at this place since we couldn’t get seated at Cervecería Catalana, which is a very popular tapas bar on Carrer de Mallorca. The girl at Cervecería Catalana directed us to Vinitus, saying that«the food there is as good as here». Though some in our big group of about 15 were initially pessimistic, we thought of giving it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. They serve excellent tapas and have a decent selection of wines. The icing on the cake was the dessert. My only gripe is that they don’t serve big bottles of water! If you are in Barcelona and like tapas, you should try this place.

Five star dessert place! The Catalonia crime, coconut pudding, loret de mar ice cream and the bread pudding just made our night! The goat cheese salad and the French vegetables baguette were great options as well! Great option for late night dinner!

Found this place really close to hotel and had good reviews on Unilocal.Arrived about 2030 without a reservation and place was very busy so did not hold out much hope but we were seated at the bar with him 15 minutes. Service was fantastic throughout. The Rioja was tasty and the food delicious especially the asparagus and mushroom. We also had goats cheese but the delight was the best Spanish omelette we have tasted. Really recommend this place

I am one for elaborate reviews and stories around my experience. But for Vinitus I don’t have many words, in fact I was rendered a little speechless. This little piece of heaven has amazing Tapas, brilliant Pintxos and the wines… ah the wines… The service is polite and around when you need them. Exactly how it should be. Since we didn’t meet Vinitus until a couple hours before our flight back to Amsterdam we only visited it once during our stay. But one things is for sure… Vinitus when I am back in Beautiful Barca, you will be seeing me as you are now my new love! and oh yeah… it is still very reasonably priced :)

Vinitus, currently for me it’s a best hidden«Perl» in Barcelona. The price /quality is more than adequate for a city like Barcelona and the service is quite excellent for a Tapas /wine restaurant. As regards as the food(tapas mostly) from the starters, Tapas and desserts everything tastes good and looks even wonderful. You can either seat inside or outside(more difficult) and in summer nights it will«blast»(in the good sense) your evening :-). Please be aware that no reserves are accepted by phone, so the best hours to visit are at 20h30 or later beginning at 23h00. So far I had always good experience at Vinitus and that’s why I’m a huge fan of this place. Tip for Dessert: Try the torrija or the«roscon borrachito»; Tip for Lunch /Dinner: choose always something from the«Daily Menu»(short piece of paper stick in the menu).

After 3 weeks in Spain eating out twice a day, this is probably the best overall restaurant we tried. The menu is diverse: so many options. And we tried many. From a simple grilled vegetable plate that was cooked and seasoned perfectly to a more sophisticated foie with apple confit dish that was indescribably fantastic. My kids learned to love croquettes here; they just seemed to have the touch of getting the flavor and frying just right. We tried croquettes at a half a dozen other restaurants on our travels and we finally gave up as nothing ever measured up. The service is first rate. The restaurant is new, modern and has a great lively feel to it. It does get crowded but that makes sense given the quality of the food. All this and the prices are really reasonable.

«Bön Vivant Tapas» Exquisitely simple with top quality food that was very flavorful. I found this place on Unilocal based on Unilocal’s greeting to me that I should try this place as it said it opened 3 weeks ago, I think not. The sign that is on the front of building says, established 2014. I went in May 2015. Unilocal didn’t have a good pictures of the building either, so I am going to load up my review with some decent pictures of the place from outside. I went on a Thursday afternoon and stayed for over 1.5 hours enjoying my feast dining in the open air of a sidewalk-seating table. Maybe the only downside that I could see, if you are arriving at night it might be a wait to get a table. I am one who LOVES to eat in the open air of a sidewalk and not the confines of sitting inside. Hey, it’s my commune with nature side of me. The tapas are very good and varied from classic to the most original. The presentation is very elaborate/elegant. I ate four different tapas. It seems the food presentation is well thought out to make it as extremely appealing. And, what I really appreciated is that you get extremely fresh and delicious food and that they don’t crush you on the price, meaning the food pricing is extremely reasonable compared to other places. ½ liter Sangria de vino: 9.60(Perfect) 1 Gamba Roja Plancha: 9.75(very moist and delicious sauce too. Be careful the juice may squirt on you, so be prepared when you cut it) 1 Langosti 3.90(Beautiful, I started with one and order another, spectacular! It was a pleasant surprise) 1 Langosti 3.90 1 Pasta Del Dia 5.90(this was good, probably my least fav of all) 1 French Hamburguesa 2.95(this was a daily special, was good, if you like it well done, please make sure to tell them as it is cooked on the medium-rare maybe medium… be sure and ask on this) 1 Torrija St Teresa(dessert) 2.20 1 Café 1.75 Total 39.95 What impressed me too was my waiter Antonio provided some great recommendations for dessert and told me to relax and enjoy my meal while others were waiting for my table. Excellent service and attentive staff is my experience here. You will not be disappointed, my favorite restaurant in Barcelona.

I’m not sure how I found this place, but we walked by it a few times and thought it looked cool so after a long day we ended back in the area and decided to give it a shot. Staff was very friendly and the menus were available in several languages. We were immediately served drinks and after ordering food it came out minutes later. We got potatoes bravas, four beef tenderloin tapas, a Spanish omelete and a chicken and pasta salad. The chicken and pasta salad was not particularly good but besides that everything was very good. All that food, two beers and a glass a wine cost 39 euro.

This hot spot in Barcelona was nearly as good as the Catalano. No regrets, however-excellent tapas all around. Sardines were the best! Fun for people watching too.

3.75 stars… Like to give it more but didn’t get to try too many dishes. Cool little joint. Good food, good size restaurant with sidewalk seating. Good service. Clams and Calamari dishes I had were pretty good(see photos). Like I said, I let them pick and it was pretty good.

I’ve walked by many times and Vinitus seemed to always be bustling. Came for tapas one night with my mother and it was absolutely delicious! The service is amazing, all of the waiters are sweet and funny. The food is delicious, and not too pricey. I highly recommend the crunchy Camembert. Also they have plenty of seating so there’s a good chance to get a table!
