El Mordisco un sitio espectacular, con una terraza acristalada que en invierno da gusto disfrutar. Platos con productos de calidad, combinación de Sabores y presentaciones de alto nivel.
Plato preferido Tartar de Atún

Being a local in this city, I must say this is a pretty place to dine at for its décor, ambience… Definitely a tourist hot spot, nice to look at, but that’s about it. Not a place for foodies. I wouldn’t come for the food nor the service. Portions are small (jamón full portion was 22 € for paper thin and scarce slices). Rest of the dishes looked good but quite meh.

Produits de qualités, apéritif soignés, cadre calme et original.
Petite bémol les plats né sont pas super copieux et en peu cher.

Really good food. Appetizers are small and expensive but the flavors of the foods are awesome!

We enjoyed our meal so much the first time, we went back another evening. On our second visit, our service was so poor as to be bizarre. The waiter broke a wine glass on the floor right next to our table, splashing wine on my pants and foot, and didn’t even bother to clean up the broken glass! He finally disappeared altogether, and a second waiter was conscripted to complete our dinner service. As to the food, they serve tapas with fresh ingredients, including vegetables, and it was all delicious. The presentation was attractive. Guests are either seated at the bar or on the patio, which is intimate and yet spacious. We ate on the patio on both visits. Clientele seemed to be a mix of locals, corporate visitors, and some tourists. If not for the service on our second visit I would have rated this restaurant with four stars. I think they need an on site manager.

Very average fillet steak with no taste from spices or cooking. Cold side sauce of bearnaise. Wife ate salmon and it was better tasting ⁴⁄₅. Great surroundings and easy going place. Would recommend but still a bit of a disappointment.

I’d gone to a children workshop at La Pedrera (definitely material for another review) with my niece and nephew and their parents. We really just wanted to find somewhere for a quick bite, and I happened to remember had seen El Mordisco in our way there, so we went.
I used to go there in their former location, somewhere at the other side of Passeig de Gràcia, many years ago. I had good memories of their creative salads.
They sat us at the patio (covered now for the winter), told us about the specials, and got the kids and their mom (6 and 4) for a little tour to see the Christmas Tree and other decorations.
Choosing what to eat was a challenge, everything sounded really appealing so once more we relied on suggestions.
After lunch they let the kids choose their dessert; we ended up trying most of them; they are home made, simply delicious.
They made us feel very welcome, food is great and service was impeccable.
Not only I’d seriously recommend it but I’m very much coming back.

Great building, good food and deplorable service. Absolutely amazingly bad service.
We were charged for items we didn’t order and made to wait forever while the people that worked there stressed about other tables.

Mordisco, one of the Grupo Tragaluz restaurants, did not disappoint. We were looking for a late night bite, and the manager accommodated us at the bar were we had a great meal with very upscale tapas. Great place.

We came here on a recommendation from wallpaper (they usually have great places to go to). The venue is very nice and quite appealing. The food is ok (some people may like it but we are picky on food). However this review is about their zero rate service. And I am not exaggerating. The girl at the bar is so stressed and doesn’t even look at us and when she was talking to us to take our order she was talking to 4 other people and interrupted us several times. I am usually forgiving when it comes to service but not at this place. Avoid this place and Wallpaper you did bad this time.

One of the best meals we had in Barcelona… On a great ally right near Hotel Mur Muri.

EL MORDISCO es un restaurante de diseño donde acostumbra a ir la gente guapa y moderna de la ciudad. Hace unos años que cerró sus puertas para construir un hotel. Han pasado unos cuantos años y el restaurante ha abierto de nuevo, no lejos de su primera ubicación, en un pasaje donde abunda la oferta gastronómica del grupo Tragaluz. Su fachada está repleta de vocablos gastronómicos a modo de grafiti.
EL MORDISCO no es solo un restaurante sino también tienda de caprichos, coctelerÍa y lugar de reunión para un antes o un después de un encuentro gastronómico.
El local tienes dos plantas y patio. La antigua casa señorial se ha convertido en un lugar elegante, con una decoración exquisita y rincones por doquier que crean buen ambiente. Gente guapa, no cabe duda, abunda.
La oferta gastronómica es aceptable pero es evidente que se paga más el diseño del local que la calidad de sus platos.

Mordisco es un sitio ultra fashion ubicado en un Pasaje del Eixample. Atrae, sí y bastante. Uno porque es del Grupo Tragaluz y dos porque tiene con qué, me parece. Desde afuera verás una serie de juego tipográfico, al mejor estilo grafiti. Este ocupa casi toda su fachada. Son palabras en color verde que llaman mucho la atención. Leerás por ejemplo: «Come, bebe que la vida es breve» o «Para comer solo o acompañado» y así muchas más. Decoran y dan vida al lugar. Puedes ir a desayunar, almorzar, cenar o bien ir de copas. Mordisco cuenta con una tienda que atravesarás cuando ingreses. Una tienda de productos delicatesen que ofrece llevarte algo a tu casa para luego invitar a dar quizás algún mordisco, eso casi seguro, ¿no? Detrás de todo hay un patio que es muy agradable por la iluminación natural que hay. El público que va tiene mucho estilo y charme. Recuerda que está ubicado en la parte más chic del ensanche barcelonés. Apuntalo si coincide con tu estilo o bien si quieres agasajar a alguien. ¡Quizás el dato te pueda venir bien! Voilà!

Adoro los pasajes, los amo, me pierden. De pequeña para ir de casa mis padres hasta la de mis tíos, solíamos atravesar el pasaje de la Concepción, ingenuo y desconocedor de su futura monopolística invasión gastronómica.
Volvería al Mordisco un millón de veces, eso sí, con los ojos vendados, me comería mi risotto, mi solomillo salsa bearnesa, y a la salida, bendeciría a la gallina.
