Orange

Miedo me da cada vez que tengo que ir a Orange, así que lo evito con toda mi alma. No es que esta tienda sea mala en especial, es que todas lo son. Largas colas, atención (no) personalizada, sistemas informáticos que se atascan todo el tiempo, promociones con letra pequeña etc etc. Y si intentas llamar a algún teléfono de Atención al cliente, peor aun. Te atienden desde Latinoamérica y no saben de que hablas ni te solucionan nada. Lo único bueno es su logo, es bastante alegre y la promoción Recarga y Gana. Si no fuera por esta última, hace tiempo que me hubiera ido de Orange…

we needed to find a local mobile phone store in order to purchase a sim card that we could use while touring spain. fortunately, this orange store was only a couple blocks from our hotel. however, hubby and i had to come here a couple of times before we were able to get service.
note that this store requires you to pull a number, and once the overhead display shows your number, you can go the next available representative.
1^st visit: around 13.30÷13.45, they were closed for siesta, which is something we had to adjust to while we were visiting spain, since most small businesses close for a couple of hours in the afternoon for their customary siesta.
2^nd visit: around 17.30, they had just re-​opened following their afternoon siesta and it was packed with customers! i guess everyone was waiting for the gates to re-​open! although our number was not too far from the display screen, we waited about 30 minutes before we decided to leave and come back later since we didn’t want to spend the entire day at a mobile phone store!
3^rd visit: around 11.30/noon, finally, a shorter wait, maybe 15 – 20 minutes before our number was called. oskar, i believe, was the one who helped us with purchasing a new sim card and selecting a data plan that would suit our needs for our time in spain. the actual transaction only took a few minutes, and before we knew it, we were outta there and onto our next tourist attraction!
great location, but be careful of their hours of operation and be prepared to wait in line, possibly for a very long time before your number is called.
