This is where my boyfriend and I spent our last lunch in Spain! We went out to explore Bogatell beach, decided to grab a bite since this was right along the shore. Their menu is huge, predominately seafood. Since my boyfriend cannot eat seafood(I’m not that big of a fan either), we ordered a pizza and jamon sandwich to share. That was more than enough food for 2 people! Their pizza was personal-sized and din’t disappoint. the sandwich on the other hand. well, let’s just say that Seville has way better jamon for a fraction of the price!

This restaurant is right on the beach of Bogatell beach. Has an extensive seafood menu and a full bar. The service was excellent. All of our questions on the menu items were answered patiently and thoroughly. They probably have the lowest priced paella, € 12.50, along the beach. We almost ordered a paella however having had it the day before, we opted for the Grilled Salmon & a Pizza Diavolo to munch on. We had a cold beer and one of their cocktail specials, Vodka Sunrise. Delicious. The Grilled Salmon came with 2 fresh out of the sea filets and veggies. The fish melted in my mouth. It was lightly spiced and just right. The texture was soft and slightly crisp at the edges. Perfect. The Pizza Diavolo was delicious as well the bread had its own flavor which complimented the tomatoes and the carved meats very well. Finally, this restaurant presents a full view of the beach!

Well it was a pretty day and I was hungry. I missed lunch by American standards, so it was 1:30 pm in Barca and this place was rather empty. I sat down, by the water, and thought it’s quite nice… which it is! The cool gentle breeze and the sea — all fantastic. The food is a good mix of Spanish Tapas and Paella. I had the manchego cheese, the pitron peppers, the tomato bread and some platatas bravas… all standard stuff you’ll find anywhere. Sadly, it was all kinda just ok. Not bad, but there’s better places to get it. And it ain’t cheap here(given the location I suppose). If you want a better meal for less euro, walk up to Ramblas del Poblenou. If you wanna sit on the water side and have an expensive bite, this place is just fine.

Nice spot next to the beach, and therefore random food and not cheap. You’ll need to make a choice.
