The pizza here was amazing! Based on reading the reviews and looking at the photos posted on here I determined that the service was dropping their rating. We tried it and found that the pizza was good enough to go back a second time and forgive the bad service that they have. The second time we went the pizzas came out before our drinks! Then I had to remind the waiter about our drinks! Just be ready for their service. The pizza with ham and apple is so yummy, and just looking at the pics make my mouth water! The pizza margharita is a plain cheese pizza, but both have a really good think crust! Be forewarned that if you order bread that you will be charged for it! The olive oil for the bread has a really nice spicy kick that sneaks up on you! Try the premium Stella beer! See pic of bottle to order it.

To be honest, the food there is ok. And one of my foodie friend recommend me there. But my husband backpack got stolen when we almost finish the dinner and he put it under the table, on the ground. We were sitting at the outdoor area where restaurant had place a tent to keep people warm. No one outside suppose to see our bag unless they walk in. I highly doubt if it was the restaurant waiter steal it with some outsiders. And when we found the backpack was stolen, the waiter did not even offer any help but just bring the bill… I feel not really friendly. Even the customer which sitting close to me said the restaurant ones are weird and I really suggest you should either really keep an eye on your belongings or maybe sitting inside. Our wallet with cash, credit card and most importantly, my husband passport are all stolen together with the backpack! We had to go to police and consulate to apply for the temp passport.

Popped in here for the full English breakfast. Expectations were not great given its on the main drag, but the service was friendly & prompt, and the coffee was best we’ve had in Barcelona so far. Food was fine too.

Pricey, poor service. Worst coffee I had in Spain so far! When asked for wifi password he asked us to rider first. They charge extra for sitting outside as we weren’t even told about it. Won’t come again

We went there for dinner. The location is excellent. Service is ok. Nothing exceptional. Food was above average. I would recommend for drinks before dinner, if you happen to be dining in that area.

Food and service were average at best. The Margarita Pizza is really a cheese pizza with a little sauce. I realized after we left we were charged for soda’s even though they came with the kids meals.

We ran in here during a rain storm to get a bite to eat and seek cover. We had the Rigatoni and Quattro Formagio pizza. Pizza was great! We had a bottle of the house red wine and ended up getting a bottle of the house Cava with dessert to further wait out the rain. Our server was friendly and helpful once he realized we weren’t just taking up a table to avoid the rain.

Never left a Unilocal review before but my service this morning was so bad that I had to share. I ducked into Samoa to escape the rain and to grab a quick bite. The waitress informed me that they were serving breakfast only and after I told her that was fine she motioned for me to find a seat. I asked for the menu, and she said the placard on the table is what they offer. Then she walked away. When she finally returned I tried telling her what I wanted in Spanish but she didn’t understand so I swifched to English but she didn’t understand that either. Worth noting that the menu is in English. I pointed to what I wanted which was a sandwich that included a drink. I asked for tap water and for the actual drink I wanted an orange juice. She brought me a bottled mineral water and an orange juice and later tacked an extra five dollars to my bill. The sandwich was basically white bread and deli him pressed flat and toasted. She never came back and I had to go find her to get my bill. Then when I asked for my change she was confused. Pretty poor experience for my first morning in Barcelona.

The food was ok. It’s true that the spot is nice, but my main problem is the service. They try to trick you out of your money here, and that is unacceptable. I ordered a drink and a croissant for 2 euros, and I decided I wanted to switch to a different drink, so they added way over the amount that it was labeled as to my bill, and didn’t say anything until I brought it up, and then refused to give my money back. Total tourist trap. Don’t come here. They tried to cheat me, and that’s not a good feeling.

Sólo tomamos bebidas, no comimos.

It’s very touristy. In this culinary city your better off walking a few blocks off Passeig de Gracia and getting a much better meal for a much better price.

in a sentence: come here for the view, not the food or feeling. after much walking around, i settled on this place for lunch for the terreza seating facing la pedrera. i just had a chance to pop inside the gorgeous establishment, so this was a fitting spot to dine and soak in the beauty of what i’d just seen. the restaurant is located right on the corner of passeig de gracia, so it is very convenient for anyone who might be passing through the area. i settled on a langostin soup to start and a glass of red wine. my second dish was a fish(that i will never know exactly what it was) with a tomato salad. for dessert i ordered the crème brûlée hoping for a facsimile of the crema catalan… but i got crème brûlée. all in all, nothing exciting, but refreshing nonetheless. as others have pointed out in their reviews of this place, the menu is a bit strange. i doesn’t feel like one cohesive offering of food, one sort of concise point of view. instead, it’s a bit fragmented drawing influences from many types of cuisines while not veering too far away from what you’d expect at your every day catalan restaurant. there are several chefs who are pushing the boundaries in terms of cuisine in barcelona and but sadly it feels like most places fall in this middle, safe ground. this place happened to follow that pack.

We ate here twice and it was very good both times. A nice change from tapas. I don’t quite get the Italian and Asian mixed menu but when on vacation just go with it. The black and hot pink décor is fun.
