Tucco Real Food

Das Restaurant befindet sich in einer Straße, in die ich mich im Dunkeln vermutlich nicht trauen würde (siehe Beweisfoto). Von weitem ist das Lokal nicht zu erkennen und so verirren sich auch keine Touristen zufällig hierher. Wir haben dieses tolle Restaurant auch nur über die guten Bewertungen bei Unilocal gefunden. Es hat sich gelohnt.
Am Eingang gibt man die Bestellung auf, was nicht ganz einfach ist. Die junge Dame hat uns geduldig die Spielregeln erklärt, so dass wir zu unseren Nudeln und unserem Veggi-​Burger kamen.
Alles wir in dem Glaskasten in der Mitte des Lokals selbstgemacht und das ist recht gut gelungen. Das Ambiente hat mir allerdings etwas besser gefallen als das Essen.
Preis-​Leistung ist super. Ich würde wiederkommen.

This is a great little restaurant with friendly staff and very good pasta made fresh. A great place to eat cheap but wholesome provided you are not wanting to sit and ponder the menu or contemplate life after. They move you through fairly quickly. Great value for money.

Yum! Had dinner there last night and everything was delicious. The servers were charming and it was a very good experience overall. I had a yummy pasta with chicken and parm cheese. Yum. The hostess recommended this. My dining mate had the lasagna which was very tasty. Cheesecake and caramel cake finished the meal both of which were yummy as well

Food was amazing for such an unassuming place. The staff was nice, friendly, and extremely helpful. The prices are unbeatable, overall a really great value. If I lived here I’d come here at least once a week.

We found this place based on the Unilocal reviews. I agree with most comments! Very good food, extremely inexpensive, great service, kinda skeptical based on the neighborhood but it was worth it in the end. We had two meals for less than 19 euro with coffee and dessert. I liked that you could see the cook making the food and that it was cozy and clean. The gal at the front counter spoke English and took her time explaining the menu, which was very helpful. I enjoyed my ravioli which was the special of the day. Their pesto sauce was red, which was interesting. I would go their again for sure!!!

Found this place on Unilocal and the rating was spot on. If you are looking for a casual, quick homemade Italian meal this is the place. Your choice of homemade pasta with a variety of sauces. I had the pasta daily special with a meat empanata on the side, glass of wine and dessert for under 10 Euros.

This Argentinian-​Italian restaurant had surprisingly great food for the low price point of its full meal (we both had the empanada/​pasta/​dessert/​drink option for less than € 10 each). The pumpkin ravioli were especially tasty and nicely al dente. The service was very friendly. You order at the front, and they bring the food to you.

We had such a good experience here. The food was delicious and the service was great. Our waitress was patient explaining the menu to us and the chef stopped by once to how everything was. For 9,70 € we got a big plate of bacon/​mozzarella ravioli, a beef empanada, bread, a brownie, a glass of wine and a bottle of water. It’s down an alley that feels a little sketchy but well worth it. Clean, comfy and friendly.

I came by here for lunch on a weekday based on all the good reviews on Unilocal and Tripadvisor. The street outside this restaurant looks a bit sketchy and there weren’t many open shops when I went, but anyhow, found this place without a problem. You order your food first and then are given a number that you hang onto the wall behind/​next to your table! I ordered the ravioli with pesto sauce (apparently it’s red), and along with it came a drink of my choice (beer, wine, soft drink, juice), and a dessert (brownie, cheesecake, tiramisu). The lady at the counter was really helpful and friendly, and she chatted with me a bit about where I’m from and how I found the place. Apparently I was the second one to have gone in because of Unilocal for the day (and I showed up within half an hour of their opening hours!). I asked if any of the combinations came with an empanada, and she said yes but then I realized it’s more worth it if I just tacked on my empanada to the meal I was having.
So, I had a beef empanada, ravioli with ricotta, spinach, and peanuts, with red pesto sauce, pineapple juice (they have orange juice or pineapple juice for juices), and tiramisu. The beef empanada was served on a wooden cutting board serving plate with a knife, and it was just alright; the beef was very flavorful, although the shell was pretty thin. I actually like that the shell was thin, because then I can have more meat per mouthful! The ravioli came with a pile of parmesan cheese on top, and it was very overwhelming. I wish the ravioli came with more sauce! The inside was delicious and melted in my mouth, and the pasta itself was chewy and fresh. Quite tasty, but needs more sauce and less parmesan cheese. The bread was good too, crunchy outside and soft inside. The pasta needs more sauce so I can dip my bread! I finished my pasta, and then came my tiramisu. It came in a cute little cup, and upon trying to get a piece, the entire cake sunk down. It was somewhat difficult to get. But, it was quite tasty. The cake could be much softer though, and there wasn’t much of a coffee taste. There was also a lot of liquid for some reason, though the cream was nice and thick and the dessert overall wasn’t too sweet.
All in all, I think the food is slightly above average at 3.5 stars, but I gave it a 4 for the friendly staff, nice ambiance, and great price for the quantity! The meal without the empanada would have been € 7.80, and the empanada added € 1.90. Could do without the empanada, I was really full at the end!

My girlfriend and I were scootering around Barcelona for the day, and when we got hungry the positive Unilocal reviews lead us to Tucco. We were looking for a reasonably priced lunch that would fill us up. If that’s what you’re looking for this place is ideal! With each meal you get bread, a beverage (beer, wine, soft drink), and a dessert! Everything is homemade and you can really tell by the quality.
Apart from the great food, the service here definitely makes you feel welcome and appreciated! Our waitress (who I believe was one of the owners) gave us a wonderful breakdown of the menu, and afterwards was even kind enough to recommend some local spots to visit!

During my Europe hop, I’d challenged myself to go to recommended restaurants and not look at Unilocal reviews, instead opting to order from the menu or from the waitress. The server at the front was exceptionally patient in walking me through the menu, and eventually constructed a three-​course meal including a empanada, pasta, and a dessert.
Everything was served promptly hot and fresh. I chose to sit right next to the pasta bar where the local chefs were hard at work preparing everything behind glass dividers. I saw them prepare the dough and filling for my ravioli– cool experience!
Food was great, service was great, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

I can say that the food here is beyond amazing but that would be selling it short, I could say that it was the most food we got for the money we spent in all of Barcelona but that would also be selling it short. The man known as Juan dips in and out of conversations seamlessly while catering to all the tables in the restaurant to make sure everyone is not only ok but are happy! His food skips the digestion stage and simply hugs your soul. The Ravioli were little pockets of fluffy love pillows with yuminess. I am actually salivating while typing this. Juan uses his heritage mixing Argentian and Italian food in a unique tasty way. Thank you Juan for showing us an amazing time TWICE! I hope i can show you a food experience as amazing as you provided me one day, I will wait to see you in NEW YORK!!!

El mejor amigo de mi pareja, la pareja de este y nosotros vivimos fuera de Barcelona, la ciudad donde hemos crecido. Ya que por navidad ambas parejas volvimos a nuestras casas como el turrón, nos reunimos el 24 para comer algo. Las peticiones eran claras: bueno, bonito y barato. Y, ya os avanzo, que cumplió con las tres cosas.
Empezamos, la decoración es sencilla, casi todo de madera, pero muy cuidado y, no solo eso, barato pero vistoso, como a mi me gusta.
El trato fue correctisimo, nos atendió muy bien, nos presento los distintos menús y con paciencia nos atendió, cuatro personas indecisas.
La cocina, además, funciona muy bien, es rápida y, no tardamos más de 10 minutos de tener nuestra bebida y comida, cuatro personas, en la mesa, quizás 15, pero no más.
Vamos a lo que interesa, la comida y su calidad. El menú con más precio es de 9.50e o 10.50e, no estoy segura. Pero la verdad es que todo, muy muy barato. Incluso hay menús por 6.50e, 7.50e o 8.50e. Hay un menú de pasta, otro de empanadillas y otro de hamburgesa, entre otros, pero son los más comunes.
El amigo de mi chico tomó el menú de pasta, raviolis con salsa de cuatro quesos. Hay un menú de pasta donde puedes escoger el tipo de pasta que quieres y la salsa que más te guste. Este costaba 8.50e.
Los otros tres tomamos el de empanadillas. Hay unas 6 u 8 por escoger. El menú llevaba tres empanadas, tres trozos de queso y cuatro trozos de longaniza con un panecillo y tomate rallado.
La variedad de empanadas: queso azul con nueces, carne, jamón york y queso con aceitunas entre otras.
La bebida y el postre estaba incluido, puedes no pedir postre y cambiarlo por un café. El pan también está incluido, si no recuerdo mal.
Los postres puede ser brownie, tarta de queso o dulce de leche.
Cierto es que es economico, pero la calidad de todo lo que comí fue fuera de serie, lo recomiendo muchísimo. Los precios son de risa por lo bueno que esta, así os lo digo.

Let’s keep it real. This place does not deserve 5 stars. Yes, it was extremely cheap. The service was great. However, the pasta was bland and the dessert was alright. If you are on a tight budget, this place is great. However, do not come here expecting good food.
Hubby wants to add that this is the second five star place we have been to in Barcelona and got disappointed.

Amazing ambiance and food. Handmade pasta, fresh salads. Both husband and I ate a full blown 3 course meal under $ 20 dollars. Local hipsters, but all polite and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back and tell my friends about this place. Their pasta is fresh, and really is setting the bar for my trip to Italy.

Na procura de um sitio para almoçar algo bom e barato e que não tivesse muito longe, eis que surge o Tucco. Através da app do Unilocal,lá fomos pelas ruas estreitas e algumas escuras do Barrio Gotico… após muitos vira à direita e vira à esquerda demos com o restaurante… um espaço simples, que parecia muito pequeno (mas que na verdade até é grande).
Entrámos. A simpatia da empregada foi enorme… explicou tudo como funcionavam os menus, frisou que tudo era fresco e caseiro e que as massas eram feitas ali. Foi tão simpática que ainda conversámos sobre a Argentina, uma vez que ela é de lá… Pegámos na nossa colher de pau e fomos para a mesa, onde pouco depois nos trouxeram as massas.
Efectivamente o tempero era caseiro e a comida muito boa. Senti que estava a comer em casa massa feita por mim e que estava na companhia de amigos. Não só a empregada que nos atendeu foi super simpática, como todos eles.
O preço dos menus é super barato e inclui um prato principal, pão, bebida e sobremesa. Só não voltámos uma outra vez porque queríamos experimentar mais restaurantes diferentes. Mas fica a promessa da volta ;)

Free wifi, delicious food, free coffee with Unilocal Checkin, and they speak English… what more could I ask for? We busted a mission to get here due to the amazing Unilocal Reviews. The location is in a little alley but don’t let the exterior throw you off. The food is fantastic and very inexpensive. The empanadas were delicious with many kinds to choose from. The pastas were all customizable and they give you great recommendations. The cheesecake for dessert was also outstanding. Will definitely be back!

This place it’s kind of hidden. I went there with my cousin when we were visiting Barcelona for three days. We ended up going there twice. The first time I had a decent burger and as I was served the burger I was reminded to make sure to check out their pasta. As we were eating they brought us two samples of their pasta and then I knew what he was talking about. Two days later we went there again and went for the
is freshly made and it tastes delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant specially because of their pasta. Will go back next time I’m in Barcelona!

We wonder why they have perfect score. The place was hard to find and was a bit skeptical, but we had the best meal so far in Europe. Not only cheap but the food was excellent!!! Each course was amazing even the dessert. No wonder the perfect score.

Fue difícil encontrar su ubicación pero mereció la pena. Nada más llegar, sabíamos que era todo un acierto su elección, al ver que estaba casi lleno.
La comida fue estupenda y el trato también. La relación calidad/​precio excelente. Habrá que repetir.

my husband and I saw all the terrific Unilocal reviews this place had and just knew we had to try it. we were not disappointed.
the owners of the shop are husband and wife (and extremely sweet to boot) and love what they do, which is so very cool to see. their passion for food and their customers’ satisfaction of their food makes this place superb.
I had the relleno especial which came with an empanada (I got the carne empanada and loved it), dessert, and drink. overall, the relleno was good, but the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste. I had a brownie as my dessert which I wouldn’t really recommend– great texture, very moist, but just not that great of a taste. and they offer 1 type of beer: San Miguel, which I enjoyed.
Andrew had the provolone relleno with crema de pesto and it was FANTASTIC. he definitely ordered better than I did. he had red wine and for dessert, a caramel chocolate piece of cake which was so incredibly good.
if you go, you should stick with Andrew’s order!
in summary, come here for a good, filling, hearty meal served by passionate, friendly, attentive people. the atmosphere isn’t what makes this place so good, so don’t come for this reason alone.

Pasta y empanadas espectaculares. Postres excelentes. Imprescindible para el que le guste la cocina italiana

Son expertos en pasta, y se nota. Gran variedad de pasta y de salsas. Nosotros comimos ravioli de salmón con salsa pesto, y ravioli vegetales con salsa tucco. Ambos platos estaban muy bien, y las raciones son suficientes. Los postres caseros son exquisitos.
Comer dos personas nos costó 15 euros, desde luego merece la pena.

I was expecting a fabulous (by Barcelona standards, of course) seeing all these 5 start reviews. Yeah, I know sometimes you’re in vacation mood, everything is wonderful and even the food tastes better than it really does. Maybe that’s the case here.
The place is cute and promising, good, inexpensive Italian food. My pasta tasted kind of bland, even though there’s a lot of cheese. My wife’s lasagna really wasn’t very good — I couldn’t taste the meat or cheese. I took a bottle of their home brand Sangria in a bottle and it tasted of medicine. They have dessert for every meal, but even that was just ordinary. Maybe we’re spoiled. I don’t know.

Accueil chaleureux, menu copieux et pas cher, pâte faite maison mais grasse, ce qui explique nos 4 etoiles.

Este lugar es sin duda un excelente, yo le daría una nota global de ⁹⁄₁₀. Analicemos.
Es un restaurante con un interesante concepto: menús con diferentes combinaciones: pasta/​lasagna/​hamburguesa/​empanadas + bebida + postre.
Su punto álgido: la chica que te atiende al entrar. Para tener mesa, tienes que pedir primero en la barra, te dan una cuchara con un número, y te lo llevarán a la mesa. La chica era EXCEPCIONAL, dulce y atenta, con un cuidado absoluto en atenderte bien. Su sonrisa nos arropó y nos sentimos muy satisfechos, una de las mejores experiencias en cuanto a servicio al cliente que recuerdo.
En mi caso, pedí un menú lasagna de carne por un precio muy ajustado (considerando que incluye bebida y postre) poco más de 7 € (7,80 € si no recuerdo mal). Añadí una empanada de queso azul con nueces, una caña y un pastelito de dulce de leche como postre.
Lo cierto es que la lasagna era MUY buena, La empanada correcta, no excepcional. Así que en global, muy buena experiencia.
¿Qué les separa de la excelencia más absoluta? Bueno, las empanadas dejaron un poco que desear, y nos hicieron esperar bastante (el local estaba abarrotado, nos pidieron disculpas, es comprensible).
En definitiva, por el precio, es una gran opción, no te defraudará.

Absolutamente lo mejor que comimos en Barcelona. Excelente servicio (gracias Chino por todo), ambiente y la mejor comida. Recomendadísimas las pastas rellenas con piñones, ricotta y espinaca, las ensaladas y también las empanadas argentinas!
Tucco es un lugar pequeño, familiar, con las mejores pastas caseras y empanadas argentinas. Y a excelentes precios.

En mis vacaciones en Barcelona veni aqui porque tenia muy buenos revises en Unilocal y solo tengo una cosa a decir, la comida, el servicio y el precio estavan de puta madre!
Nos deran a provar la pasta porque no lo seleccionamos en el menu, estava tan buena que volvimos para cenar.

Fue al primer sitio que fui al instalar la aplicación de Unilocal y la verdad que los comentarios fueron de gran ayuda. El sitio me gustó mucho y repetiré seguro!

Tout est parti d’une envie de manger bien, pas cher, en évitant les attrape-​touristes. Et puis, les tapas c’est bien, mais pendant une semaine entière, mon estomac aurait tirer la tronche, tout comme mon porte-​monnaie!
Recherché Unilocal rapide et je tombe sur la page de Tuco: photos appétissantes, avis motivants et critère respecté (prix). Pas besoin de plus pour nous faire quitter notre chambre à l’affût du dit-​restaurant.
Bien situé car proche de la Place Reial, il vous faudra cependant prendre votre courage à deux mains pour passer le cap de la ruelle étroite et sombre (lugubre limite?!) à la nuit tombée. Nous, on avait faim, rien né pouvait nous arrêter!
Arrivée devant le resto, nous sommes un peu perplexe quant à la capacité volumique de leur salle; on la devine à peine au loin. Mais elle est bien là! D’ailleurs plutôt deux fois qu’une! En effet la salle est séparée par la cuisine ouverte, créant deux ambiances différentes. Une expo photo et vue sur la cuisine pour le visuel, une ambiance musicale agréable… On va être bien.
La commande se fait à l’entrée: pâtes, pizzas, empanadas… Avec des menus à moins de 10 €. Que demander de plus! Un service en salle? C’est fait. Un staff souriant et agréable (et agréable pour les yeux: D)? C’est fait! Du goût? Ohhh plus que fait! Mes lasagnes étaient juste exquises, et généreuses.
Repues, nous repartons heureuses d’avoir osé prendre cette petite rue, et surtout d’avoir fait confiance aux Unilocaleurs. Merci pour cette adresse. Les autres, lancez-​vous! Le quartier regorge de restos sympas!

Tucco es un restaurante sencillo y discreto, de pasta italiana que destaca por una cosa: Relación calidad-​precio excepcional.
Desde fuera parece casi un puesto de take away, con un mostrador donde se pide la comida, tanto si te la llevas como si te quedas a comer en el local. Esto nos resultó un poco caótico al principio, ya que había mucha gente pidiendo y tuvimos que esperar para pedir sin poder sentarnos en la mesa.
Detrás del mostrador está la carta, que se compone principalmente de pasta normal, pasta rellena, lassagnas y empanadas estilo argentino. Además hay unos menús que incluyen un plato principal, una empanada, bebida y postre.
Todos los platos que probamos estaban muy buenos y con un sabor como de casa. Nada de sofisiticación, sino el plato que comerías en una casa italiana. Generosos, con mucha salsa y mucho queso parmesano encima. Lo que mas me gustó fue la lassagna vegetal. En cambio la pasta rellena de queso y espinaca no me convenció tanto. Mención aparte para las empanadas, que me parecieron super sabrosas. A mi me gustaron mas que las de otros sitios con mas nombre.
Finalmente unos postres italianos mas que correctos.
Como he dicho, salimos llenos, con la sensación de haber comido unos buenos platos de pasta italiana y habiendo gastado 10 € por persona, algo bastante difícil de encontrar un sábado por la noche.

Das Restaurant ist klein und einfach aber hat einen ganz speziellen Charme.
Wenn man das Restaurant betritt, muss man sich direkt an der Theke für ein Gericht oder ein Menü entscheiden. In dem Menü ist eine Speise, ein Getränk und ein Nachtisch enthalten. Auch Getränke sind direkt zu Ordnern und mitzunehmen an den Tisch. Dir der Kellner einen auch findet, bekommt man einen (lustigen) Kochlöffel mit einer Nummer mit.
Wir hatten Empanadas und Lasagne, es war durchgängig gut, auch der Nachtisch.
Insgesamt würde ich das Restaurant wieder besuchen und auch jemandem anderen empfehlen. Meine freundin auch ;-)

Sencillamente genial: Buen precio, muy buena comida, tranquilo,… Un local al que acudir cuando entra hambre y estás por la zona.

Me parece imposible no poder recordar la primera vez que comí acá. Como olvidar mi primer contacto con la increíble pasta Tucco. Sin embargo, os puedo asegurar que, des de ese maravilloso día ahora perdido en el espacio y el tiempo, soy asidua a este local.
La pequeña calle que lo cobija no cuenta con más de 2 metros de ancho, aunque la misma entrada al local es un enorme portón de madera que lo magnifíca y lo hace made in Gótico.
En su interior encontramos 3 mesitas contadas, donde nos recibirán dulcemente los del lugar. Sin mirar a la pizarrita comando directamente pasta fresca otra vez, y así lo seguiré haciendo hasta el día del juicio final. Por qué, Dios mío, ¡qué buena está ! o sea, que si me da la gana me la llevo por ahí.
Acabo, estoy llenísima, pero el placer me lleva a otro placer y, sí, me pido la irresistible tarta de tiramisú y con la boca repleta sólo puedo balbucear: BBBBB ! (Bueno, Buenísimo, Bonito, Barato, Baratísimo!).
Definitivamente, si en Argentina hay alguien más a venerar que al Pelusa es a esta familia que nos hace la vida más sabrosa, gracias por deleitarnos de tal forma !

Caminaba por el barrio gótico y ya no aguantaba más. Pasadas las 4 de la tarde hay que comer algo sí o sí. Pero claro ahí comenzó el dilema, con 5 euros en el bolsillo no había mucho de dónde elegir. Entonces empecé a repasar las opciones: Shawarma… no; hamburguesa… no; bocata… no. Pasta! Eso no suele ser muy caro y encima me encanta. Vi pasar a una pareja saboreando unos ravioles a mi lado y no me pude contener. Me dijeron de este lugar medio escondido en el que preparan al menos 5 tipos de ravioles diferentes y caseros. No lo pensé dos veces, apuré el paso y llegué a este pequeñísimo local con 3 mesitas diminutas y una pizarra haciendo las veces de menú colectivo. Se leía: «Ravioles rellenos de: queso de cabra con albahaca o cilantro o romero; gorgonzola y pera; salmón ahumado con nuez. La lista parecía nunca terminar.
No solo me fui del lugar con el estómago contento, sino que también con 1 euro para el metro.
