Went here over the weekend with some friends. They had a few craft beers on tap which we all seemed to like. The music was perfect for a relaxing dinner. Not overly crowded and the food was good. Would definitely come back.

This place is nothing special. I can’t say anything bad about it but there also aren’t many good things I can say. I assumed, considering the location that the food would match, though, I left feeling indifferent. It’s a fairly common menu and not a whole lot of effort to add originality or flare. You mine as well go to Red Robin and save yourself a few dollars. Unless the reason you’re going out is to boast your social status.

Great service, drinks, wine and dinner. Best chicken wings anywhere for appetizers. We had the salmon and the shrimp risotto for entrees. Perfect. Server knew his stuff too. Wine selections etc. Always good to come back here. Great food in a casual place. Ask for the Ducati riders discount.(just foolin’)

Ate here for the first time since it changed hands(yes, I know… it’s been a while!). The atmosphere is fairly noisy, the service was pretty good although we waited a while for a couple of our requests – extra ketchup, second beer, etc. We had fish tacos(me) and a Cuban(DH). He requested onion rings instead of fries and got both. We didn’t get charged for both, so no harm, no foul. They were tasty but it was a lot of fried food. Overall, it was OK, but we have other area restaurants we like better. We might return and try something more healthy. :-)

My friend brought me here the other day at an off hour between lunch and dinner, so it was pretty much empty, but i imagine it would be very busy during any regular dining time, as this is a pretty solid restaurant on all counts. The fennel & beet salad I ordered was very interesting and delicious, but i especially loved the cocktail I ordered(on a whim), because it was called the ‘Bees Knees’(gin, honey, and lemon-very simple & delicious!) and our visit happened to fall around the same time as their happy hour, so I ended up ordering a couple more and got a little toastier than I intended to lololol. Pretty decent truffle fries too. Not a ton of veg options here, but then again, their menu is quite small. Good service and very classy, yet inviting ambience. Reasonably-priced too.

Lackluster service; food good but slow to come from kitchen, no avocado on my turkey club. Music good.

I made reservations for two at Riverhouse in Ada for Saturday, February 13th because my husband and I felt they provided good food and service on previous visits there. Unfortunately, on this occasion we left 5 minutes after we were seated at our table because we were treated very rudely by the manager, Tracy. Even though we had a reservation(and there were only 6 other people in the entire restaurant the day before Valentine’s Day) we were rudely told that we could not sit near the fireplace as those tables were reserved. We were seated in a different area, and in the first 5 minutes we were there, we were told of three items on the menu they were out of, including a very common Pinot Noir. It seems like a restaurant would be well stocked with menu items and wine the day before Valentine’s Day, but not Riverhouse. When we voiced our concerns to Tracy she was rude and sarcastic to us– it was apparent that Tracy does not possess basic customer service skills so we left. Sadly, because of the way we were treated, we do not plan to go back. But, the evening was not a total loss– we went to another restaurant a few doors down from Riverhouse and had an excellent dining experience, complete with great customer service!

The mini tacos are excellent, as well as the Cuban sandwich. Can accommodate food allergies. Perfect for groups and meeting in the private rooms downstairs — deck is fab and sits on the river stream.

Date night brought us out Ada way and we ventured to the Riverhouse Ada. We were a little surprised at how upscale the interior was but seeing as the place was nearly vacant(weird for 6:45 on a Saturday) we decided the empty chairs didn’t mind our casual attire. Our waitress was delightful, newer and energetic she answered all our questions and went out of her way to answer some more. For dinner we ordered the confit buffalo wings and the Cottage pie. The wings were a paradox. On the one hand they were fall off the bone(quite literally. keep it over the plate!) tender but on the other hand they’re buffalo wings which is messy enough by itself. When you factor in the self sabotaging structure you are just left with a mess. A tasty mess but I think I much prefer my wings to hold a bit more together. Thank goodness my date has been with me for 21 years and is used to seeing me eat like a 2 year old. The Cottage Pie(aka shepherds pie) was served to my husband in a round dish with a charming little napkin tied around it. Cute, but totally reminded me of Charlie Brown serving Snoopy. This resemblance was made even more so once he dug in. Potatoes, peas and ground beef. He said it was good even if it looked like dog food, which it totally did. Drink wise they made a decent dark and stormy and a fantastic Pimms cup. Their tap selection could be a little broader and I would love to see more local breweries featured. Over all we thought it was good and while I don’t think we’d go out of our way to go back we’d not balk at the idea either.

The fried chicken here is some of the best Ive tried. The wings are done confit over night and flash fried to perfection. The Shepards Pie was really tasty too. The bar is great. Ive always been very happy with this place

Basically the beer is over priced. Average $ 6 a «pint» and I say pint because that is what the waitress called it, but it can’t be more than a 12 oz. The burgers are good and fries are too, although a bit inconsistent in done ness. I had the wings which are«24 hour» type, another words, fall off the bone if ya like that kind of thing. To me, if I hear«fall off the bone» I know it’s going to be over cooked. Personally I like my meat to have some tooth pack rather than slurping it up like the brundlefly. The habanero wings were sent back because basically they tastes nothing like habanero and 100% like chili powder. I called them taco wings. Gross. The honey Siracha sauce was much better. Anyway at $ 1 a wing, it’s ok.

Finally made it to Riverhouse Ada after hearing nonstop how amazing their wings are. The rumors are true! They are cooked in lard at a low temperature for 24 hours and fried to order and they are delicious, falling off the bone tender. I got the honey sriracha and my friend got the buffalo. The honey sriracha was really good! Not overly sweet, and just slightly spicy. Really nice flavor. My friend’s buffalo wings were awesome. The skin on hers was crispier than the skin on mine and it was fantastic. We also got an order of fries to share which was pretty disappointing– they were lukewarm and has obviously been sitting out for awhile when we got them. Bummer, but the wings were so good we didn’t really care that much. We drove past the restaurant the first time, it’s in the strip mall right outside of Ada(past Amway if you’re coming from GR), behind the McDonalds Express. I really liked the décor — it feels like you’re in someone’s house. The area where we ate had a fireplace and it felt really cozy. I loved the atmosphere! I will go back with my boyfriend who lives wings!

Used to be an upscale bistro before the transformation. The prices have come down a bit, but the food is just ok. For happy hour, lots of fried items: mushrooms, onions and pickles. Featured three well $ 5 cocktails that were pretty good. I’m a big of meatloaf. Unfortunately it lacked flavor and was actually quite bland. Insider tip: fish tacos are on special all day Thursday. These are probably the best deal and taste pretty good.

Overall tasty. Relaxed but professional atmosphere. The deck was pleasant and the seating was comfortable. Menu is small but all the elements of my meal were quality. I had grilled chicken sandwich and truffle fries. Basic but good and affordable. My truffle fries were not very truffly but that is minor. It’d be a nice place to kick back with friends and cocktails. Server was very pleasant.

This friendly and inviting casual eating restaurant in downtown Ada served me up a great burger Saturday night. I ordered a medium prepared, Riverhouse burger with sauteed mushrooms and onions. When it came out, my burger was heaped high with the toppings and was cooked perfectly. The truffle french fries on the side were a savory addition to the meal. The reason for my visit was for a friend’s bachelorette dinner party. We had the private, lower level«fireplace» room that sat around 30 at large tables with a small sitting area, centered around the central fireplace you have 20+ females in a room, it’s bound to get a little chaotic. The staff was friendly, attentive, and funny, rolling with the punches as we changed our minds on our orders and needed checks divided up. Even with the larger party, they allowed everyone to order off the standard menu, and the food came out all at the same time, fresh and hot.. The price point for an individual meal was very reasonable and they allowed us to bring in outside deserts. I would highly recommend their private rooms for a casual dinner party or event.

Very good. Portions huge. We loved the poutine. Beware: it could easily feed 3 – 4. We ended up taking a lot of it home. The hamburger had terrific flavor. Tasted like very fresh beef. Fries were very good. Service was excellent.

Last time I was in it was good. Today was great. Our waiter Ryan was amazing! Thoughtful enough to slide our order in before a big group and aways checking in. We got the dragon wings and they are crazy hot but super tender. I also had the best Fish n’ Chips I have had in a long time. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Was in the area for work and didn’t feel like mcdonalds or pizza buffet, so I checked Unilocal and there were no reviews here so I figured why not. The décor is very nice and there is seating available at the bar, dining, room, lounge, or outdoor patio. I happened to be the only one there(11am) so I chose to sit at a high table in the lounge next to the widow. I ordered a cheese burger for lunch which came with fries and had water to drink. The fries came with a serachey-illay(probably spelled that wrong) which was delicious. I ordered the burger medium… And It came medium! Don’t usually see that happen. The bun was great, had a nice little crunch and nice flavor. This is a restaurant I will DEFINATELY be coming back to again! Absolutely the best burger I have had in a looooong time! BRAVO!
