Screwed up a sandwich and gladly comped us on the next visit. Great customer service

Great place to grab a quick bite. Their focaccia bread is freshly made and is very fluffy and yummy. I’ve tried sandwiches and salads here and they always taste fresh. Parking could be a little difficult at peak lunch hours.

Excellent steak sandwich. Side salad is OK. I wish you could get the sandwich without this salad. Service was quick. Overall a good place for a quick meal.

The chili sandwich is amazing. The bread is freshly made, wood stone oven, I believe. The chocolate chip cookies are sweet and tasty. It came with a little café salad. The employees were helpful. I would highly recommend this little gem! I wish they had another apt in Ontario.

This place has a good variety of sandwiches and salads. the Chimichurri Steak is my favorite; the sandwich is very flavorful, and comes with a side salad. The bread is freshly made, and the food is on the healthier side. This is a good option for food if you want to make eating a healthy more of a priority.

This is a solid 4-​star option. While slightly pricier than I had expected, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and kind, quick service/​hospitality.
This was my first time here. I ordered the tri tip sandwich, and a chocolate chip cookie while I waited.
The wait: less than 5 minutes. Super quick.
The cookie: this restaurant keeps all their cookies under a heat lamp so they’re always fresh and hot, with the just-​out-​of-​the-​oven taste. Delicious, A.
The sandwich: pretty good. The tri tip was high quality. The BBQ sauce was above average as well. The bread was nice and soft, with a good consistency. Slightly disappointed by the portion of meat, I feel like I should get more tri tip for the price. But, I suppose we are paying for the higher quality here, so I’ll give that a pass for now.
The surprise: my sandwich came with a pretty decent sized salad with mandarin oranges. Awesome. Wasn’t expecting that.
The environment: sat outside. Good weather, nice fountain, new renovated buildings, and semi-​crowded atmosphere with few open tables. Younger crowd.

WOW. Healthy and delicious food. Give it a try and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Found this place on Unilocal.The pictures looked good, good ratings. Ordered the cilantro salad, chicken was like rubber. The club sandwich was okay. Wouldn’t go here again.

If you want a decent lunch. this is your place. It’s not terrible, it’s not great. its pretty average.
They’re reasonably priced, clean and have quick service.

Dear Cilantro Chicken Salad why must you be so absolutely DELICIOUS drizzled with your creamy Chipotle Ranch dressing. Great tasting salad and sandwiches and service is always EXCELLENT.

Not NYC or Boston pie but a simple, good tasting smaller pie done exactly as you want it. The pizza is prepared right in front of you so you’ll know the pie you ordered. Loved that! It took about 15 min for the pie to finish in the oven, but while you wait they offer free vanilla «gelato». It tasted like simple soft-​serve ice cream and I think I could easily tell the difference. Observing fresh ingredients being used was a great thing. High marks for that. I may need my pie to be dragged through the gritty street to taste authentic Greenwich Village-​style. For L.A. I liked it and will go back. I think it’s Spartan décor, too, sets it as a great place to bring picky kids.

The salads at Urbane café are just meh. Be sure you add chicken on them, because without it, there’s not much to them. They won’t toss the salad, even if you ask. So you get a big pile of lettuce with all the toppings piled on and it’s on a plate so when you try to mix it together, something inevitably falls on the floor.
The front counter at this location has no space so if there is more than 1 person in line, you’ll be waiting outside the door. So awkward.

I have to give Urbane Café 5 stars. I come here on a regular basis and they consistently provide good service with delicious food.
Their chicken sandwiches, lightly seasoned with rosemary, sun-​dried tomatoes or cilantro aoli on a freshly baked bread, are provided with a mixed green salad, tangerines, feta cheese and a side of not-​too tart, not-​too-​sweet balsamic dressing. Just purrfect!
I highly recommend Urbane as a good restaurant with great food at a fair price.

We visited the Agoura Hills location yesterday and as always had a great Celantro Chicken Salad! So yummy, clean and comfy place for a lunch. Thank you!

Urban café is awesome !! Everything on the menu I have tried and all the food is fresh and always good tasting ! Prices I think are very reasonable for the quality of food your getting ! Keep up the great work !!

Nice location right off the freeway for a quick hit (eat) and run (okay, drive). Nice outdoor seating, albeit, on a parking lot… but it’s nicely done and a brand new mini-​strip mall.
The inside is rather small, about 12 tables. Counter ordering and a buzzer calls you up when your order is ready. It’s casual, but nice.
Well priced, I ordered a Caprese Salad ($ 7.50). Good quality Mozzarella, sliced cherry tomatoes, chopped blended salad, and a terrific Balsamic Pesto dressing that you can dress because it’s served on the side. The bread was excellent, like a super soft pizza bread. The metal basket lined with paper is alright, but plastic forks I can do without.
Overall, I liked. It’s a good option for a casual lunch. But, bring your own fork.

Quick. Easy. Supremely good.
My family and I stopped here, getting off the freeway looking for a quick bite to eat before continuing on in our travels. We saw this eatery and decided to try it upon seeing numerous other individuals with meals from Urbane walking around the southern California-​vibe, stucco-​designed plaza.
We got roasted turkey sandwiches. It was so delicious, served on home-​made focaccia bread – baked fresh with each order in wood fired ovens – and perfectly flavored honey mustard spread with a perfect side salad that had pieces of fresh tangerine slices.
The service was outstanding. We ordered right away, despite it being at peak lunch-​time, and received our food within minutes. The staff was working so hard! They put together handfuls of meals efficiently and carefully. They know how to run their shop! They were also very kind.
The only shortcoming of this café is that there are only a few tables inside, and it can be hard to maneuver on the smaller space. Seating is mainly outdoors, though if the weather holds up it isn’t a problem.
If you see an Urbane Café sign and are looking for a great meal with excellent service, go through the doors underneath it and see for yourself why this place is so good!
