SERVICEHEREISALWAYSGREAT! I swear, everytime I come in either with my friends or my boyfriend, service is always ONPOINT. On point as in, we get in, get drinked, have our orders taken, and are serviced consistently every time.(We usually always have our order taken within 5 – 10 minutes; but we do usually come during the slower times around lunch) Food is great, especially for the lunch prices with the lunch special! I almost always leave super full with some leftovers to take home. Their drinks only are refillable if you buy large size, but that’s alright. The restaurant inside gives off a diner feel and isn’t fancy fancy, but if the foods good and the establishment seems pretty clean(the servers seemed to clean the tables and the area a lot), who gives a f$@k? Overall, I love this place! Good value, good service, and good food :)

I’m giving two stars because the food didn’t tasted bad. As a matter fact, it didn’t tasted like anything. I order their Shrimp Fried Rice and it had no flavor. The shrimp was barely there and they were small pieces. I also ordered shrimp tempura and it was just average. They were large, but the flavor was not as I expected it.

Favorite Korean BBQ on the island next to Soons in Salt Lake. Service is very attentive with water & kimchee refills, and it’s always clean inside. Food: so good. Amazing kalbi, bbq chicken, meat jun… Daikon kimchee is so addictive. They also give you miso soup. This place always hits the spot!

So, for my first time here the customer service was bad. the food was good and the portions were worth the price. I didn’t understand why they charge extra for Kal bi! I don’t think I will be going there anytime soon.

Junk! Their Spicy Ahi Wonton doesn’t even taste that good. I don’t know why a lot people say it’s «bomb». I ordered the Butterfish and Spicy Ahi Wonton with brown rice. My wife ordered Fried Mandoo and Meat Jun. The Meat Jun was soggy. The Butterfish was swimming in shoyu sauce. Terrible! I don’t know if it was because they were closing in less than an hour or what? I just know my meal wasn’t worth $ 29. My wife’s meal wasn’t worth $ 20. So, if you’re really hungry go elsewhere unless you like eating horrible food.

The food is excellent and it’s a little on the pricey side for Korean fast food. The restaurant could use a good sanitizing.

Customer service is on point! The workers are very attentive to their customers — Bachan and water are always refilled! The portions here are totally worth it! Their meat jun has to be my favorite. The Katsu and meat jun sauces are so delicious!!!

This is for take out orders only. Its very fast and good service. The meat Jun is one of the best I’ve had thus far. My boyfriend got the chicken katsu and he liked it very much.

This place by far beats other places for great portion served on their meals for 2 that actually fed 4 on our table, We had ordered the meal for 2 along with a side order of spicy tuna which was fresh that melted like butter in my mouth. Great staff with fast service makes a place like this shine out for hungry locals like us I recommend this place for sure to family and friends

Another one of my family’s go-to places for Korean food! My family has a tradition of eating Korean food before and after every trip to the mainland or abroad(because we need our rice fixes before there is none on the mainland!). 99% of the time we pick Kim Chee 7! Whether we get takeout or dine in, this place is always consistent with their portions and food! My family really loves the meat jun but I come for the katsu! Best chicken katsu I’ve ever had! I don’t even put sauce on it!(Gasp! That’s unheard of! I know!) I also don’t put sauce on the meat jun! Gasp again! It’s that good! I love dining in because of the various sides they give. You also get unlimited refills! Yum! I love the spicy daikon!(The long brown strips. Lol) They also give you seaweed soup which is also delicious. The part my family loves the most are their portions! We can get 3 plates and it’ll feed all 6 of us plus some! Total score in our books! If you haven’t tried this place before, you mustttt! There are many locations around the island but I’ve only been to this one! It’s located across Pearlridge Mall in the Westridge Shopping Center on the bottom floor. Go, go, go!

My wife and I split a small order of the Meat Jun as recommended by our server. Our order arrived in less than fifteen minutes. The order was huge. More than enough for the two of us. The banchan consisted of three items: two types of kim chee and pickled radishes. The servers were very helpful, attentive and welcoming. We will be back.

Although I live close by and this place has been here for a long time, I have not had a chance to try it until tonight. I was going in there expecting something like a yummys but they exceeded my expectations! Their kimchee pancake was awsome, as well as their spicy ahi won ton. Both of these is a «must try!» We also tried the kimchee restraunt special. It came with Kal bi, BBQ beef, BBQ chicken, meat jun, ebi tempura, along with a bowl of rice and veggies. We also tried the stir-fry seafood. It was loaded with seafood! We also got the 3 choice with tonkatsu, fish jun, and tofu katsu. We also had some green tea and strawberry Mochi ice cream. The food was on point. The servers were on it with refilling our waters. They were very nice and pleasant. It’s reasonably priced. I also found out that it was BYOB! Too bad I didn’t know that earlier but it will be the reason to come back along with wanting to have more of their kim Chee pancake and spic ahi won ton! If you have never been here, you gotta try it!

Been here NUMEROUS times, its our go-to for good, affordable korean food. We usually get the butterfish combo and share it between two, sometimes three people(yes, its THAT much food). I wanted to try something different this time, I decided on the mochiko chicken combo(mochiko chicken, meat jun and spicy ahi won tons for a mere $ 12.95), sadly, or better put, as fate would have it, they were out of mochiko chicken. I opted with the garlic salmon sizzling hot pot and OMG I’m so glad i did. It was the BEST meal I’ve had in a looooong time. The pot came out exactly as advertised, SIZZLING. This allowed the rice to get crispy, it came with a generous serving of salmon with zucchini, onions and a garlic mayonnaise sauce. They also provided a shoyu based sauce in a bottle on the side, i added that in whe everything was still sizzling. The downside, it smells and looks SO fantastic, but it’s so damn hot there’s no way you can take a bite. After a few minutes, its still super hot, but OMG, soo delicious!!! It’s gonna be something I dream about and I wanna go back and order it again. Btw, its a HUGE sizzling pot, i ate every bite it was so delicious, regretted it after bc i was so full, but so worth it!!!

This is my favorite Korean restaurant on this side of the island due to the quick service and large portions at great prices. They are very accommodating as far as how big the group is. They reserve you a table booth. I highly recommend their bim bim bap, chicken katsu, and meat jun. Their bim bim bap is placed in a beautiful blue bowl and portion is filling that you might want to take the rest home. Chicken katsu and meat jun has between 7 or 8 pieces with white rice and bean sprouts. When I eat those dishes I usually take the rest home for lunch or dinner the next day. Ban chans are tasty. I personally think they should have real authentic kim chee with that Korean gochujang or also known as hot pepper suace(used in many korean dishes including in kim chee). That is real kim chee not diluted kim chee. But there are people who can’t handle that kick. The hot tea they have as self serve is wonderful. Barley tea the waiters mentioned the first time we went there for dinner after 6 or 7 yrs of not eating any meals there. My parents enjoy it after all it’s not green tea that most restaurants serve. If you plan to eat here for dinner, I would recommend coming here by 5pm otherwise you will be waiting outside for awhile. Beat the dinner rush. Thank you Josh for your fast service and friendliness. I won’t forget to say hi to you next time you work during dinner time :)

Soo fantastic… I could cry. Sooo there were three in our delightful party this pm. We arrived early before the evening crowd. My mom and me ordered Kali, bugoki, tofu fried, japchae, and bimbimbop. My mom the bimbimbop expert/connoisseur said it was the perfect bowl-balanced to perfection. Everything else was delightful including the kimchee three ways. Ohhhh the service was amazing! Hands down an awesome crew that was attentive But not too hands on! Thanks Kimchee 7 crew! You all rocked it!

This is a hole in the wall located in Pearlridge. I’m not exactly sure what the raves are about but their food is JUST okay. Food portions are well for the price(pretty pricey). The usual panchan are served but wasn’t the best I’ve had. Although the bbq chicken the sauce for the meat Jun were pretty tasty. They do have good customer service and servers are very attentive. Why 1 star? For the price they are charging, the ambiance is only not up to par but their dinnerware/glassware are on the very very very cheap/used side. I believe that presentation help entice customers because it says lot about the quality of the goods. I do no recommend this place, due to safety reasons; it dirty, dark– advocates poor quality. I understand it is a whole in the wall but at least take care of customers not only by giving them the food which they pay for but respecting their quality of life. For Korean cravings, check out Yummy Korean BBQ or Youngs Kalbee.

Usually no wait time but they do stop seating about 20 minutes before closing. By then, only take out orders are available. Food: meat jun and shrimp tempura with their dipping sauce is awesome. Portion sizes are big. I wouldn’t recommend any of their soup dishes as I don’t think it’s as authentic as other Korean joints.

Old post* Last Mond&ay in April. We went 45 min. after they opened and were the 2nd group B4 the lunch crowd showed up! Excellent customer service! From the courteous waiter, to the other guy Constantly filling up our H2. The food was enough for 3 meals, but perfect for a Hungry person! Husband ordered 2plates of their fried mandoo. We took home Pieces out of the second order. Get there early, because not only will the restaurant fill up the parking lot fills up! My husband said the buildings shared restrooms were so filthy and the sink was broken, so he couldn’t wash his hands, so he held his bathroom business! Despite the restroom fiasco This a great place to go to if you’re looking for a choice of your common local-style plate lunch & Korean specialties. lt’s pricey after lunch. Guarantee Hubby said we’ll be back! Mahalo

Best Korean food in town! Marinade for their meats are AMAZING! Service is awesome… It’s almost always packed, but if there’s a line, it moves, don’t let it keep you away.
