As a Mexican, I’m a little critical of Mexican food but this taco deal mar really delivers. Their ground beef and hot sauces are prime! And besides just really great grindz, the staff is always so friendly and helpful! The GM Dan is really quick with all his orders while also holding a conversation which is impressive! The rest of the restaurant looks very clean. The prices are very good for the quantity that you are receiving and they always have some kind of deals. The deal I got today was buy one, get one free burrito. And the burritos are so big that one is good for two meals for me(but only one meal for my boyfriend). I’d def recommend this taco del mar to people, I just hope they stay in business. There doesn’t seem to be that much foot traffic, which is fine with me because it makes the staff more personable!(:

The best Taco Del Mar on the island. Enjoy the fish tacos and they actually know how to prep them here. Others were not so great, lacked in preparation. Friendly staff, Very clean, but not a lot of seating.

Yay I’m so excited they opened another Taco Del Mar! This location is tenfold better than the Moanalua Shopping Center site. First of all, the portion sizes are massive! Ok, it may be that they are padding the portions due to their recent opening, but still, I got at least four times for food on my platter than the Moanalua location. I also like the centrality of this location right next to Pearlridge Mall and a bunch of other food spots. I was mildly bummed that they didn’t have Lime Cholula, but hey, no one is perfect! Can’t wait to come back. Best deal is the two enchilada/taco platter!

Not a bad place at all. Quick and relatively cheap. Glad it’s in my neighborhood: D if you haven’t been here it’s basically a build your own burrito place. Flavored could be a little stronger, but for Hawaiian Mexican it’s definitely passable. Worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for a cheap quick bite to eat.

We personally love this taco del mar. It’s clean and we always get the same guy,(I’m a sucker for anyone who remembers my order). They have a rewards system and they don’t skimp on anything.

Food is very average. Pork has no flavor, rice is dry, fish is battered and fried earlier in the day then reheated. Avoid this dish. No flavor. Today people want fresh flavorful food. This place does not offer it.

Unilocal 100 Review Challenge 2015: 49⁄100 I received a coupon to Taco Del Mar in the mail, specifically for this location, because they had just opened. The coupon was BOGO a Mondo(Baja) Burrito w/a drink. This time around, there was actually a line that was at least 6 people deep. The employee making my burrito asked if I wanted Spinach, Wheat, Corn or Flour tortilla and offered guacamole for an additional 80 cents. Very informative! I choose re-fried beans, ground beef and mild sauce for both. At the register I handed for the coupon totaling ~$ 9 for 2 Mondo Burritos and a medium drink, what a deal! Even though I did take-out this time, the service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable! Only 6 weeks open and they have made much improvement. The only reason for 4⁄5 stars is because Taco Del Mar will always be on the pricier side for«Mexican fast food» so unless they have coupons or promotions, I am less likely to spend money here to satisfy my Mexican food cravings.

I love this place… Now more than ever cause it recently opened close to mi cása!!! Pick and choose your healthy fillings to stuff into your tortilla and hopefully it will close to resemble a super huge burrito… love it…

This is the first time I ate at a Taco Del Mar and always wanted to try there. They recently opened a new location at Westridge, where I believe Toys n Joys was. I saw a sign couple months ago that they are Coming Soon and was happy another new eatery in the area will be opening. It was empty when I went there during lunch time. It looks like the employees were still being trained. I ordered the Mondo Burrito with carnitas, refried beans, sour cream, pico de gallo, cheese, and an add-on of guacamole which was extra. The burrito was huge and the prices are reasonable for the amount you get. But the taste was average at best. I will come here again to try something different maybe to the burrito Wet with the enchilada sauce or queso.
