My mom and I have been coming here since I was in elementary school. My mom always gets her hair done by Stacy and I always get my hair done by Junior. Though the studio isn’t as fancy as some of the newer ones in town, it’s clean and the service is always friendly. They also have lots of magazines and products for you to look at while you’re waiting. They always have music (usually KSSK) playing but it’s not too loud. They are friendly and ask you how you’ve been but are not overly chatty/don’t waste any of your time. Parking is always easy for me to find and it’s a great excuse to go shopping at Pearlridge after (: I used to love going to Toys n Joys after getting a haircut!
My mom and I live in town now so it’s a bit of a drive but I would recommend them to anyone in the Aiea/​Pearl City area! If you want to get your hair done by Junior (he also does his halau’s hair for Merrie Monarch competitions), be sure to call weeks in advance. Sometimes he gets booked up, especially during the holidays, and there are certain days during the week that he doesn’t work.

Absolute best place for a haircut and highlight. Great location and all of the stylists are friendly; you feel like family the moment you walk in! I’ve been going to Aunty Staci for years, and she always knows the perfect style for my hair. I have never received so many compliments on my hair before!

I don’t recommend this place. They don’t fulfill their written obligations as advertised. My son 4 won a free haircut and wash for Easter. My wife called on Saturday, April 13 and was told they didn’t have any walk-​ins for that day but Sunday was open. When my wife arrived they wouldn’t accommodate the agreement on a walk-​in. The place was empty except for 1 customer and they asked my wife to come back next Saturday. If you’re employee’s don’t want to obligate coupons that would otherwise bring customers in then why have them. We had planned on a nice tip since the service was free. Guess not.

LOVE this place! You can walk in and usually get a decent hair cut done within 15 minutes of less of waiting. The ladies in there are down to earth, fun — don’t let their looks scare you (sorry, they are on the «older» side, but they KNOW style!). It’s a comfy, down to earth salon — nothing fancy, but I don’t care about fancy, I just love the way they are all great stylists!
