Great little place of you are looking for a cool spot to hang out or lunch. Soups are one of the best I’ve had in this area and if you save room after the large portions they also have some great desserts. Very reasonably priced check it out.

I’ve been here multiple times and it has always been superb! Whether I eat in or get takeout the food has always exceeded my expectations. With that said, I will admit that I have only had a few items off the menu. This is not normal for me as I love trying new things but for some reason Gasoline Alley makes me break my rule of changing it up. First of all, my absolute favorite item on the menu is the A La Arami sandwich. It is Pepperoni, Salami and Cream Cheese with Lettuce and Tomato in a Pita. Don’t be a Sissy and get the Bully size for $ 9.99. Yes the sizes are Bully and Sissy! I don’t know what it is about this sandwich but I get it pretty much every time I come here. One time I got the Greek Burger and it was pretty good but no A La Arami! The stuff the Pita so full of goodness that I promise you will not go away hungry! The fries are also exceptionally tasty. I enjoy the homemade chips and dip, onion rings, kraut balls and the Clam Chowder is to die for. So after more then half a dozen trips those are the only items I’ve had and I’m fine with that. Although, there are easily over 20 deli style sandwiches to try, burgers, pizzas and desserts. I have ordered a few beers but they don’t have the biggest selections. The décor is definitely a Route 66 Americana motive that works well in a deli/diner setting. There isn’t much seating and it can be tight quarters. I’ve only waited once on a Friday night but at the same time I’ve never seen them not at least 75% full. They seem to do a good business and I will definitely keep coming back!

Well you will get yelled at for laughing and the person sitting behind will come out of no where after sitting behind you saying he can’t hear his friends talk. If you want a quiet place go to a family restaurant not that we were really loud. You know just the usual laughing after a long day trying to unwind. So I will never go back because of the dumb ass people that come here. The lady at the BAR actually said can you be quiet we are trying to have a personal convo. If it wasn’t for my girlfriend k probably would have fought a few people. Keep in mind we had two beer and a shot when this happened. Service is good though

One of the only restaurants in the Akron area that I would consider close to a delicatessen. The crowd seems to be mostly local, and the wait staff is dry friendly and courteous. Great place for corned beef, a burger, and don’t miss out on the cheesecake!

This is probably my third or fourth visit to Gasoline Alley for lunch. Gasoline Alley is a diner sized bar and restaurant in the middle of Bath on Cleveland Massillon Road. I don’t think there are more than about 50 seats including the bar and I have never seen the place not at least 80% full at lunch time. And the people there aren’t day drinking(although it’s certainly an option) but pack in to enjoy a surprisingly broad array of deli sandwiches and burgers, salads and other lunch fare. Today it was packed. The sandwiches come in a large and small size(called«sissy» size) and the smaller size is very adequate, particularly with the french fries which for whatever reason are incredibly good here. My lunch consisted of a sandwich called«Spare Parts» which was a lot of roast beef, lettuce tomato and onion on a roll. Although I ordered the«sissy» it was more than adequate, especially given the generous portion of really good fries, pickle spear, and the cup of cream of mushroom soup I was unable to resist. I have to comment on the soup because I like cream of mushroom soup, and this soup stood out as some of the best I’ve ever had. The creamy soup base included cheese, not enough to taste like cheese soup but enough to add this great earthy, smoky flavor(it tasted like parmesan) and it added a definite undertone of savory quality to the soup. The mushrooms were big and cut chunky so that you got the texture and the flavor, and I believe there were other kinds of mushrooms besides the«Button» mushrooms most people think are all there is to mushrooms. I didn’t ask but I would guess there might have been crimini mushrooms and possibly baby portabellas. All in all a really terrific cup of soup, and a bowl of that soup could replace a sandwich as a pretty good lunch. The décor is kitschy with some sports photos and some road signs/gas station items and that sort of Americana. Service at the bar was efficient and the food came from the kitchen in a very reasonable time frame. The order was correct, the soup was the perfect temperature and my drink was refilled without request, so service speed and accuracy was spot on. I spent more than I really wanted to for a lunch, $ 21 with tip but the sandwich was $ 11 and add the soup and beverage, I think the tab came to $ 17 and change. So maybe stick to the specials next time and go soup OR sandwich, that would keep the tab a lot more reasonable, but… I have to say this was high-quality food and in an upscale downtown restaurant where I might expect to pay $ 21 for lunch it would certainly fit in perfectly. So really, the food was worth the money although eating it elbow to elbow at a bar with strangers kind of takes away from it a little. Still and all, good food and I will return.

I love coming here with my fiancé or with friends! The food is DELISH! The sandwiches are HUGE and the onion rings make me so happy! Everything we have ever ordered(sandwiches, pizza, dessert) is always top quality! Be sure to stop by and enjoy this wonderful place. Be aware that it is a small place and fills up quickly!!! If you like tuna melts order theirs, IT’S FANTASTIC!

The vibe is a Route 66 Americana joint. Inside, there’s old pictures and gasoline pumps refinished. I came here on a recommendation. Walked in and was told there would be a 15 minute wait. The place was packed. Sometimes, it may seem someone is cutting in line, but they tell you how much time you’re gonna wait and then you walk back in and resume your place in line(or at least that’s how I perceived it), but could be misconstrued as line jumping… ? The water is well water, if you are not accustomed to it, may want bottled water. You can taste it in the fountain drinks too. Tuna Fish: My girlfriend go this and she enjoyed it. Reuben fatboy burger: I enjoyed the sandwich. It was pretty good. The fries were a bit overdone, but regular fries. OVERALLIMPRESSION: If you want a taste or feel of Americana /Midwest, bring them here(think out of towners, exchange students). I don’t like that it’s so busy, but would come back again to show friends and family.

Fun atmosphere, extensive menu offerings. I ordered the portabella burger and the kraut balls. The burger was a bit overcooked, bit still juicy and full of flavor.(I like mine medium rare, and my buddy gets his medium well. Usually mine suffers when the kitchen tries to get both cooked on same order.) Kraut balls were yummy as well. I wish I lived closer to this place; I would like to frequent more often. We found it while geocaching in the Bath Reservation. Glad we came a bit further south for this place. Fun!

Danielle suggested we go to Gasoline Alley tonight since we were in the area and i’d suggested it weeks ago. I work just down the street but rarely go and it always bothers me that i don’t. of course when i do go it seems I always order the same thing — which i did again. i always get the Reuben Fat Boy burger. the thing is, i don’t even like it that much. it’s not bad but there are so many other sandwiches i could get and yet i never do. so i got that. Danielle got the fish and chips. she liked the fish and hated the tartar sauce. again, we need to stop trying to be slick with tartar sauce. all you need is mayo(or better yet Miracle Whip and relish — that’s all). she said all she could taste was mustard. so, she ate the fish without the tartar sauce. we also shared some sour kraut balls as an appetizer after i raved about how great they were. sadly, they weren’t as good as they were in the past. mostly pork/meat and hardly any sour kraut. they completely lacked the spicy kick i’ve enjoyed in the past. making matters worse was the fact that the table near us ordered pizza and it looked and smelled amazing. made me wish i’d gotten that instead. next time pizza it is. i almost ordered a small one to go. also, the tables are too close together. the guy at the table next to us was cutting his corn off the cob and Danielle was being sprayed the whole time because of the close proximity.

So my experience here started off as positive… nice vibe good décor. The person that seated us said happy hour special was $ 1 off drafts but by the time the check rolled around they informed us that oh well that 1 beer wasn’t on special even though it was on draft. The waitress was told we were informed by host all draft $ 1 off but she wouldn’t honor it… False advertising! If you don’t honor what you said then unfortunately we wouldn’t return to that establishment.

Fun place to go for drinks or a sandwitch. If you love extra extra cheese on your pizza order it, it you don’t like that much cheese save your time and get a sandwich

Super quaint place and the food is excellent! You may have to wait a bit for a table but it is well worth it. I have had a couple of their sandwiches and they are giant size! You can definitely take part of it home for lunch the next day. The pizza is amazing too. I highly recommend you stop in

LOVE this place. I’d actually give it a 4.5 bc its pretty small and they havent opened up the outdoor patio yet so it gets CRAMPED and the wait can be long. As for the food… shooooooooooooot its BOMB! I would totally recommend ANY sandwich or the pizza. You seriously cannot go wrong with the sandwiches. you HAVE to get the corn beef/pastrami sammy. Absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to come back and sit on the back patio. The bartenders were awesome too! Shouts to scottie!

Not at all what the outside looks like Nice deli with great selection of beers. Lunch — sissy turkey Reuben with fries came to $ 9.57 w/o tip. Was perfect amount of food — especially with 275 more miles until next destination. Will be back next time I come thru the area.
