After checking out guitar center, Fry’s, and Best Buy, we were limited by their options and started to get discouraged. My husband luckily found this store and we were fortunate to have David help us through the process. Who knew that there were so many components and options for a karaōke system? David was honest, knowledgeable, and professional. He made the purchasing process very easy and stress free. He was not pushy into selling us his products. I rented a karaōke system from Advance Video for my husband’s surprise graduation party. David showed me how to set up the system and adjust the setting while in the store. Not only was it easy, but it was a complete success during the party. Although the memory card already held over 6,000 songs, David added a few more that I knew were my husband’s favorites.
Throughout the party, the karaōke system was in constant use. Given how much fun everyone experienced, a friend who is hosting a Halloween party next month inquired about the cost. Surprising, it’s very reasonable at $ 125 for the system excluding the monitor (you can use your own flat panel television).
I was so impressed with the system that I’m still debating whether or not to purchase it for future parties. I highly recommend Advance Video for your karaōke entertainment needs.

Husband H. and I have been meaning to get our own karaōke system for quite some time. We’re more tired now (*ahem* Baby H.), and we no longer make it to karaōke as much as we’d like, but we still have a hankering for it. So, why not get our own system? We were putting it off because we thought picking out all the equipment would be mind-​boggling.
At Advance Video and Karaōke, buying a karaōke system is not only painless, it’s pleasurable! The guy who runs the place (his name is David) has been at it for 27 years, so he’s doing something right. What he’s doing right is this: The store is clean, inviting, and well organized. David is very friendly and didn’t once pressure us to buy the more expensive version of anything, and he actually recommended less expensive stuff when he thought it would suit our needs better. He spent almost an hour letting us try out different microphones and singing actual karaōke songs. He even sang to us so we could hear the difference between mics. We walked in thinking we’d just get an idea of what this whole thing was going to cost, but after the lovely David helped us so much, we figured we’d just DO IT. We’re excited. I’m going to go sing now.
Go see David if you want a karaōke system! We got out of there for just under $ 300, which included the karaōke unit thingy, a microphone, some other things my husband knows what to do with, and an Adele karaōke CD.
