I like Tea Delight for their reasonably priced drinks and extensive menu. Where else can you get a large milk tea with a topping for $ 3.50? Even Sharetea’ll run ya around $ 4& some change for the same drink! I usually get the Jasmine Milk Tea with pudding and it has yet to disappoint. Their pudding is a softer consistency that doesn’t have as much of a bite to it as other places. I also recall their boba being pretty good — softy, chewy, sweet. I’ll probably return when I find myself in Alameda again!

This place is the closest boba place next to College of Alameda, so i’ve been here a few times(also when it was previously Tmix, but its the same owner so. I felt like it was the same thing). I am never disappointed when I am here! I think i’ve gotten regular milk tea, apple fruit tea or apple milk tea or something, and now I always get thai milk tea. I always come with friends and they get different things, they always like it too. I must rave about the thai milk tea though! It’s sooo good, and the boba seems always fresh and plump. I’ve gotten grass jelly before when they ran out of boba, so she didn’t charge me for the toppings and it was still really good. There is always the sweet old nice lady behind the counter, she’s so cute and always makes me happy!

This place is fairy small, quiet and slow. The tea was sort of bland, but they give you free toppings if you check in on Unilocal.I ordered a iced milk tea with coffee jelly and grass jelly and he gave me both toppings for free. The tea lacked sweetness. The guy working the counter was very nice and he even offered me a stamp card. I would come back here if I was on the west end of alameda and don’t feel like driving to park st.

This place looks like T-Mix. It’s probably the same place but under a different name. I ordered a Milk Tea with tapioca with standard sugar. The drink came out WAY too sweet. Plus it tasted like the Chinese herbal medicine, the kind my mom brews for me when I get sick. However, it gave me a ton energy after downing the entire drink. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon, and it was packed with loud teenagers. They do have wifi, but most of the seats were taken so unless you plan on sitting on the floor with your laptop, you should go elsewhere.

I really wanted to like this place, but the milk tea really sucks… The only good thing about this place is that there’s never a line(because it’s dead), drinks are made in large cups, toppings are free and the lady who works there is very nice. This is probably my third time visiting this place and all the drinks tasted very diluted.

The manager is so nice and polite! Felt very at home here even though it was my first visit. Atmosphere is very clean and cute. I ordered a hot almond black milk tea and it was really tasty. Not watery or lacking flavor like other milk tea places I’ve gone to. I also took home a peppermint green tea boba for my boyfriend and he gulped it down and said it was good before I could ask. :)

I been to many boba places and this one is the best so far. The drinks are made fresh. I got the honeydew milk tea from other places but theirs arent as great compared to tea delights. The bathroom is outside but it’s very clean. The manager is really chill and will try to conversate with you to keep things bright. My friends and I went right when they were closing but he still made us drinks. The store has Wi-Fi also and it works really well. Overall, this is a great local boba shop. 5 stars for this boba shop!!! I recommend the lychee green tea also(:

Nice chill place to hang or catch up with some friends. The pudding with milk tea is definitely a MUST TRy!!! If you’re craving something sweet, try the«k.g slush» cant go wrong! I like the size of the drinks. They just added hot dogs and hot links that are actually really good! Ask for Kev-kev to make your drinks, he’s hilarious!

Second time coming in here and got disapponted again. They ran out of green tea and service was a little slow because there is only one worker.

so tea delight has taken over Tmix in alameda. Its like tmix just ok in my book. the new owner seems to be nice. The prices are fair and the service is fast. With all the tea places popping up left and right it’s so hard to compete with the fan favorites. I’m the kind of person that tends to give local small businesses a try. They are located in small shopping center that is not at all busy so parking is super easy. once you are in they have a huge menu so that will take sometime to decide. My favorite is the filipino coconut and mango smoothie great for a warm day. they are super solid and a great goto place in alameda if you don’t want to deal with the craziness of trying to find parking on park street.

I feel like this place is pretty much the same as T-Mix. Almost the same menu, same price, same taste. There are two things I really care about in boba places: (1) Milk alternatives: they had soymilk, yay! (2) Customizability of sweetness I got milk tea with soymilk and 75% sweetness and it hit the spot! Their standard drink size is pretty big too; I couldn’t end up finishing my drink despite how good it was. The reason for 4 stars, instead of 5, is that it was definitely good but I wouldn’t name it as my favorite since there are so many boba places in the Bay to compete with.

Their wifi password is 5105215888. They are conveniently located in a not so busy shopping center with a free parking lot. I didn’t know what to order so I looked at the reviews/tips on Unilocal and decided on their mango milk tea with pudding and 50% sugar level. The drink costed $ 4. I thought it was alright, nothing too special. I want to try other items on the menu.

I was around the area and found this spot on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I had the mango milk tea with«pudding» I gave that a try and dang. it’s my favorite now. You know how milk tea has that natural bitter taste and the pudding gives it that sweet kick. Place is really clean. Floors and table are not sticky. Definitely a cool spot to hang out for a bit and grab a drink. Their A/C blast ice cold.

With so many boba places to choose from in the East Bay, Tea Delight is one of my favorites! What sets them apart is their diverse menu options, and you’re bound to find something to satisfy every palate. Parking is easy and conveniently located inside a shopping plaza. Must try: Mango milk tea with egg pudding It’s no surprise this place is popular among the locals. I highly recommend Tea Delight to my fellow Unilocalers :)

Time: 2:57pm/86°F sunny Purpose: Finishing up at Pagano’s made my way over since I’m there already. Ambiance: Place didn’t change much from the days of Tmix. Just new owner and name change. Inside sits no more than twelve with wall adorned with little pottery resting on wall mounted shelf. A flatscreen tv tune on pop channel. Linoleum floor tiles with chest high counter. The front usual business supplies like sleeves stack of cup, wide straw, menu, business card, loyalty card, ipad. Behind counter four panel menu with small printed description. Need to tip toe or squinting eye just to read it. It’s quiet and calm, but after school bell rings, I’m not sure. Staff: One girl about early to mid 30s with her kids at work. Every now and then she leaves the counter to tickle kid armpits. Very unprofessional doing personal things in way of customers. When I went to order, I had to wait for her to wash hands and set up the equipment. I didn’t just walk in on her opening for day. This is past lunch in middle of afternoon already. Didn’t understand what she was trying to ask me. Not to be mean, but she was a little on fobbish side. People came in after me thinking, I’m begging her for a free drink. That’s the worst case scenario. Cleanliness: Grade A, impeccable clean throughout. Front counter sparkling white tile and panel. Floors non sticky not a boba or drop of drink seen. Patrons clean after themselves. Eats/Drinks: Taro green milk tea with red bean and boba $ 3.50. Didn’t taste any different from other nearby places. Tea may have been made overnight. Either that or powder form was use. Only enjoy the red bean as boba had a hard cake center. Bottom of cup shows chalky sediment pieces. A good indication of undercooked. I didn’t like it as much as half cup of ice melted blended up with the rest, just didn’t taste good. Shoot, stupid me again! Listening to them saying last day for all drinks at $ 3 for grand opening special. A drink like mines even free, I wouldn’t want it. Hence, posted flyer noted $ 3 sale has been extended. That itself is call the(past-on) move in my line of work, I know exactly what it means. If I were to go into details explaining it, you won’t like it. Main Features: Honey specialty drink, almond drink, and honey lime aloe. Products/Services: Refer to posted pictures. Creat your own, No Wi-Fi, tv on Chinese pop channel. Punch Lines: Modest cost, seats are minimal, harried staff, special bargain, imaginable toppings, laid back, kitschy décor, zippy service, nothing out of the ordinary, interesting takes, quite bland, not as great, go elsewhere, pretentious, lot parking(non meter). Tradeoffs: Items use here may be left over from previous business including supplies and equipments. You may need to wait a little longer till goods are use up and fresh batch comes in. Final Thoughts: I know there will be changes coming soon. Base on my observation of actions taken place, it may prove difficult to take a stronghold of the boba trend. No wonder my drink came out the way it was. They’re still picking up the slack left from the former. Flipping through binder with pages of laminated paper looking for recipe is a no-no. Still have learning curves to master here before going mainstream, IMHO. Good luck!

Tea Delight takes over the Tmix spot. place looks about the same. maybe the menu is similar. some seating, not a lot. one lady does it all in the afternoon. milk tea drinks $ 3 special till Aug. 23rd drink: oolong milk tea(3) 24 oz, no ice, little sugar –oolong faintly tastable. -«milk» bland, adds nothing to milk tea. –just so so 2.75 stars. drips: –no unique teas(roasted oolong, earl grey, osmanthus) available, just black, jasmine, rose tea et al. –regular tea pricing, 3.5, 3.95 –parking available, just need to look for it. –pricing relatively cheap, quality not top flight.

New grand opening with different prices. Drinks will be $ 3 until August 23rd. I love coming here for milktea! It’s my favorite place in alameda to get milktea, even though there are several on park street. The lady worker is very nice! She’s my favorite! And she makes the best drinks!
