I love Abby’s pizza. Don’t think I had been to this one in a long time. But the pizza was excellent as always. Although the pizza was a bit slow to get out to us but nothing too extreme(30 minutes). Well worth the wait imo.

The pizza is ok. The salad bar was good. I would go back if I was passing through again. In my opinion it wasn’t anything special.

Very disappointing pizza. Nearly an hour to arrive and cold, soggy, wet crust with tasteless toppings. Will not order again.

The prices are still pretty high, but I always get great service. Also, I just stick with the lunch special to satisfy my craving. The ranch is really good and the toppings always seem superior to most other places. Get the prices down and I’ll give you five stars.

If you grew up small-town Oregon you know that Abby’s is THE pizza. Interesting because their laminated dough technique and cracker style crust is unusual in a world that seems addicted to thick bread-like tasteless dough. Linguica is a classic along with Abby’s special. Toppings are generous. I remember the original Abby’s in Roseburg where kids could only sit on the right side of the restaurant(Stephens rd location). As a kid I thought the gas lamps and Little Boy Blue paintings the height of class. I still like Abby’s but the charm of the ambiance is gone. Hubby goes because he knows I like it. Recommend Abby’s special, skinny special and poor boy. According to my son, their Canadian bacon is the best.

Poor service, long wait, no cheese on the salad bar. What pizza place doesn’t put out cheese at the salad bar? Tiniest 7 inch pizza you’ve ever seen was almost 6 bucks.

The pizza there is great, but the atmosphere not so much. The pizza is a lot of money but is worth it as a treat now and then. They staff is always friendly, usually kinda dirty looking. It is always very loud in there and it seems as though it’s rarely cleaned. They have some arcade games which are fun to play around on while you are waiting on your order but the kids seem to get food and grease all over them. There is a fire place in the middle of the restaurant with a table rapping around it which makes it seem more homey and welcoming. I would eat here again, but I do feel that they need lower their prices.

It seems like my short trip to the Portland area has allowed me to sample a couple of different pizza joints. Abby’s ranks right in the middle. The«special» is a small 7 inch pizza(with any four toppings) with a single trip to the salad bar and a refillable drink for $ 8.25 with tax. If you’re looking for an inexpensive lunch, this is a good option. From the time I placed my order to the time the pizza was brought to the table was less than 10 minutes. Thin crust pizza with too little sauce and too little cheese, the toppings seemed adequate. Look out for the roasted garlic. There were several pieces on there and I’m afraid I could now strip paint with my breath. Like so many restaurants, they do accept credit cards but not AmEx.
