Great service! We got the hangar 1 combo and it came with 15 wings, Waffle fries and those can be seasoned too! Yum yum this is so so close to our hotel so we’re glad we had a chance to pick up our order and hang out at the hotel!

The food is good but every week the order is messed up without fail. From little things missing, a sauce wrong or missing, to a whole order missing. It gets frustrating.

Food was delivered 90 mins after we ordered it. They first went to the wrong hotel, and then needed to back track to the correct hotel. The styrofoam containers were all smoothed down and fell apart as soon as you opened them. And most annoying, I requested that my wings be cooked very very very well done and they were anything but. They were rubbery and just disappointing.

Absolutely delicious food – perfect for football/hockey/basketball game-watching. However, I cannot give Wings Over Albany five stars because of their atrocious delivery time. If you are planning on ordering from Wings Over, prepare WAY in advance(also don’t always expect the most charming delivery drivers)… I usually order(and recommend) Garlic Parmesan and/or Red Alert wings with Cajun, Mustang Ranch, or regular waffle fries

15 minutes for pickup? More like 40 and still waiting… Usually this place isn’t bad but this is a bit ridiculous, there is only 3 other people sitting in here. The phone(which hasn’t rang once in the last 20+ minutes I’ve been sitting here) is now off the hook and repeatedly beeping. Poor service

W.O.A used to be the go to recommendation by me for anyone wanting the best possible chicken for the money. While i’m not at the point of telling people to stay away, the quality of the food i’ve been getting over the past year or so has been extremely hit or miss, and those ‘hits’ are more like bloop singles at that. I’m about 20 minutes removed from choking down enough of wings and fries from there to absorb my cognac for the night, but overall it was possibly my worst meal ever i’ve gotten there. Grabbing a hang glider with half pound of boneless, fries and a soda for $ 9 is definitely the way to go when patronizing this place. Most of the time you’ll have a couple of pieces to eat later. That’s been what i’ve gotten almost exclusively since first becoming a customer about a decade or so ago. The boneless have been coming out less cooked than i’d prefer more often, and the fries that are in the same container have been coming out real soggy and undercooked or appearing to have been double dipped. So i went and got wings tonight because it had been years since the last time and due to the boneless underwhelming recently. Big Mistake!!! Instead of paying $ 9 for the chicken, fries and soda, i got to pay about $ 13 – 14 for it. 10 wings run you $ 9 by themselves and there was nothing to that made me feel as though i was remotely getting my money’s worth. Although they only use fresh chicken, the wings seemed like some run of the mill frozen pieces you could find at any local bar. Undercooked and soggy on the inside. A couple pieces that were the largest seemed like science experiments when i pulled at them. Fries were so soggy that i felt as though i was touching and eating a wet-nap, only the wet-nap most likely would’ve had more flavor to it. Once again, the place typically isn’t all that bad and i’ve definitely had more positive experiences than bad ones from there. It’s just becoming more disheartening to see the bad ones become more consistent. While i can say that i plan to patronize the place again, i’ll also say that they better hope the other options i’m going to try next when a spicy chicken craving hits don’t turn me into a full time fan that strays away for good…

This used to be my favorite place to get Chicken wings. As a matter of fact I used to stop here and pick up wings to bring home to NH for my family but now the quality has gone way down. It seem to get bad about a year and half ago then I came in and a sign in the window from the Health And Safety saying they scored a low score on a recent inspection. Come on guys we want the quality back!

Totally shameless about this wing joint. I usually go for wings that are slightly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. Dry rubs are my weakness. Occasionally I’ll get wings with sauce. They have buffalo flavor with 5 levels of heat. They also have 7BBQ flavors like Cajun, Chipotle, + Honey, 3 kinds of teriyaki, and SPECIAL ones like jamaican jerk, oriental sesame, and honey mustard. Best thing is you can choose a few flavors and mix it up a bit. You can also ask for all flats or all drummettes for all you bone-in lovers… and there’s no extra charge! They have boneless wings, ribs, sandwiches, and wraps as well. All of this can be ordered online(my usual route), in person, or by phone. If you’re a dry rub person like me, I highly recommend trying the garlic parmesan, mustang ranch, and seven pepper. I keep telling myself wings aren’t just for superbowl!

Eh. You can find much better wings elsewhere. Breaded finger style ‘wings’ with powdered seasonings. Waffle fries and onion rings are the best things they have.

YUMM. This was my first time trying wings over and since there’s one that delivers to my school, I thought that I should try it and see what all the hype is about. I had the DC-10 which comes with a pound of boneless wings with two flavors of your choice. I opted for the garlic Parmesan and honey bbq with ranch dressing on the side. The delivery didn’t take that long and I was pleasantly surprised. First off, when I got the wings, they smelled like garlicky heaven. I opened the box and let me tell you, these boneless wings are not the kinds you see from Buffalo Wild Wings(although I still do love them as well). These wings are huge and meaty and they go by pound, not by pieces. I got a total of 12 boneless wings for my order, 6 for each flavor. How many you get depends on how big the meat is but it’s definitely more than enough for two people. My favorite flavor(for now) has to be the garlic Parmesan. The honey bbq was also great as well and I’m salivating while writing this because I want to place another order again but it’s late at night and ugh, the temptations. The price came out to be around $ 15 with tax included and it is a bit pricey but for the amount you get with it, the deal is all worth it.

Great tasting sauces and good quality chicken but steep prices. Well I’m back in Albany for school and I have to order takeout from here at least once a semester. I have been ordering from here since freshmen year and they are(usually) very consistent. I almost always order it for delivery offline and it typically gets here between 45 minutes to an hour and a half. So if you’re in a rush for food, this is not the place to order from unless you plan on picking it up(the food itself is normally done in 10 minutes). A LOT of students order from this place so I can’t blame them for being busy and having a long delivery time. None the less, it’s always still warm when delivered. I tend to order the same thing as long as I think my stomach can handle it: Jet Fuel. It is just a step below their hottest sauce and is definitely super spicy but I just love the flavor. I don’t know why, but no matter how agonizingly spicy it gets I just can’t resist. The only problem is, if there isn’t enough sauce it’s not worth it. This was my issue last night. I specifically ordered online asking for extra sauce and they went ahead and charged me $.50, but the chicken was still dry and no extra sauce drippings in sight. This annoys me. I find the sauce to be the best part(I can get chicken tenders anywhere) and is the reason I order from here so if the chicken is just barely covered with sauce then what is the point? Especially for their costs. My friend ordered the Hot Garlic and she received a little extra, but not a lot. Although, they have done well in the past with extra sauce so I guess this was just a slip up. The Hot Garlic was pretty good, still quite spicy and a nice garlic flavor(and I’m a lover of garlic), but it is lacking something for me that the Jet Fuel always satisfies. I have also tried their Honey BBQ in the past which is pretty standard and tasty. Normally when I order from here we get the«boneless wings», basically chicken tenders, which are always juicy with plenty of meat. I have ordered their actual chicken wings before which are surprisingly plump and jumbo, but for some reason I always go back for the tenders. I ALWAYS go for actual wings in other situations so this is saying something. Overall, I am quite pleased with this place. I love the quality of their chicken and sauces and the convenience of having them around the corner. Their prices are on the expensive side for chicken wings though. My friend and I ordered a combo with a pound of chicken, fries and a drink(both half pounds of chicken had extra sauce) for a total of $ 15, plus a delivery charge, tax and tip resulting in $ 20. Without the fries and drink it only would have been a dollar less. Sort of crazy when I can go to the store and buy a pound tenders for $ 7, but it it definitely worth it if they give you enough sauce.

These folks have TOOMANY chicken sauce options. I personally believe they should have far fewer options and concentrate on making the wings and remaining sauces as good as they can. My friend and I came with a local who claimed these were the best chicken wings in the area. Both of us out of towners were really looking forward to some good chicken wings, even though it is NOT Buffalo, we thought, «hey, it is close enough, right?» WRONG. There was really nothing wrong with them, but we definitely have had better wings elsewhere.

Good chicken wings, but they don’t deliver to hospitals. We’re not even 2 blocks away from where their furthest point of delivery is and they refused to deliver to us. Your loss. Will find something else.

Living in a area where everything closes at 10pm… Wings is open until 1am… Even later on Friday and Saturday night… But just because their open late doesn’t mean you should only order from there when it’s late… This place is good… I always get the hangar 1… Almost any of the flavors are great… Have tried almost all of them… Little pricy but always good

The wings are great but the service leaves something to be desired. I know the weather today sucks(12/10/2014) but we ordered deliver 2.5 hours ago and were told 30 – 45 minutes. We are still sitting here waiting for food to be delivered. When we called to check the status of the order we were rudely told«We’re busy it’ll be there shortly» that was over 30 minutes ago. If it was just this time we ordered(with full understanding that it’s snowing) we wouldn’t have had an issue with the food being this late but every time we order we can expect a 60 – 90 minute wait before food is delivered(45 – 60 minutes of that being«Out for delivery») If you’re going to order make sure you don’t actually want to eat anytime soon. Soon after writing this our food arrived and was cold/barely warm at all.

Just about the only good thing I can say about my order is that it arrived on time. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings and waffle fries. Both were covered in so much powdered flavoring that they were sickeningly salty and over-seasoned. Also, anywhere else you order garlic Parmesan wings you get actual minced garlic and cheese coating your wings. Not some ramen noodle powder like mixture. Back in the day Wings over Albany used to be THE place to get wings(10 years ago?) but once it switched hands the quality went to pot. Seems like nothing has changed for the better.

Closer to 3.5 rating. Wings with bones are good sized, pretty cheap, comes in multiple flavors(I liked the garlic parm the most, although cajun teriyaki and honey BBQ were also decent.) Flavors could be stronger though — which is why I prefer Buffalo Wild Wings. But in Albany, Wings over Albany will do. The cashier was very friendly and offered to let us try a flavor since we were debating between a few. Accepts credit. Seating plenty, but you should get take-out during winter since the store itself is cold. Lot of parking.

One of the better Wings Over I have ever been to… food was fresh… hot… can not believe the macaroni salad was good as well! We had no complaints really… except maybe the rude cashier who should have checked her attitude at the door. But what is important was the wings were great!

A good college life includes ordering out to eat-frequently. Wings Over Albany was ordered far more than any other take-out joint, for one reason: Boneless wings. Yes, there are traditional wings served here, but they pale in comparison to the boneless wing wonders. Big, thick, meaty pieces of chicken are nothing like the nuggets you’ve had from Buffalo Wild Wings or any other chain. I would dare call them«hommeade» quality because the wings are all different sizes. Have no fear, though, because orders are measured in pounds, not pieces. The flavors are incredible, and there are plenty to choose from, including both wet sauces and dry rubs. The mustang ranch dry rub tastes incredible, as do both the hot garlic and Jamaican jerk wet sauces. Delivery times were always within 20 – 45 minutes, often times the wings still steaming hot once opened. I’ve ordered twice in a day, no shame in that. If you like boneless wings, look no further.
