Not my favorite, when busy it was too crowded, food was just ok, I had a salad. They had a roasted corn that looked amazing but didn’t get to try. Service was not good to overwhelmed and a little attitude.

I love small intimate restaurants but what comes with that is waiting for a table then sharing it with kind strangers. We heard great reviews and I’m happy to say Fork & Fig lived up to them. Our Burger was cooked to perfection, succulent and flavorful love the Brussels sprouts which were sauteed with bacon little sweet and crunchy. YUMYUM

This place is a great stop for upscale sandwiches with the upscale price. A fun place to drop by and aesthetically pleasing. It looks great, tastes great, and I just wished it was a little bit more. When we dropped in late on a Thursday night, it was pretty dead. It was really quiet, maybe some background music?, It was just weird to EVERYthing in the restaurant(cooks and hostess). I started off with their black cherry soda($ 3) Let’s get to the meat of this place… the food. The NM Ruben was juicy, spicy and flavorful. The sides are a bit weird but I liked that for a modern spot… I had the grilled zucchini(could of had a bit more flavor). The service was nice and so was this stop.

Fork and Fig is pretty good. Everything is local, fresh, and organic. Plates are pretty light yet satisfying. I have had the chicken wrap as well as the Cubano. The Cubano was phenomenal… served on a croissant with meats, cheese, mustard, and pickles. The wrap was decent… a one time thing to order. I have always had the grilled zucchini as my side and definitely find it satisfying and light. The only downfall to Fork and Fig — small space. It is a little bit cramped. Both times I have gone, I have had to wait about ten minutes. If you are trying to grab a quick bite, cross your fingers for availability at the community table or at the bar. The food comes out pretty quickly though. I enjoy coming here for a light lunch.

OMG not even the Ribeye wrap can save this place. I read all about this and was so disappointed. I can say the people were very nice, however the food lacked. Good luck.

Delicious food, great service & good atmosphere. My husband & I both tried the salmon wrap & the rib eye wrap, with a side of tomato bisque & smashed fingerling potatoes. I’m sad they no longer serve the gnocchi & the cojita corn. Hopefully they’ll bring it back.

this place is great! it’s a quiet little place but they have outside seating — good for sunny days! I had the chicken pesto Sammy with a side of herb fingerlings and wow! it was so good! my friends had the chicken wrap and the NM Cajun burger both with the fingerlings; they finished their food too! we couldn’t stop talking about how good the food is! also their hibiscus tea is refreshingly good — not very sweet though so if you like sweet tea add sugar. staff was friendly and welcoming. overall great experience! :)

I ordered the ribeye sammy and it was delicious. Tender beef and flavorful sauce… simple but absolutely delicious. Ordered the cotija corn as well as the gnocchi because both options sounded very delicious and I couldn’t decide. Definitely loved the gnocchi — it was very flavorful and unique! Definitely go for the gnocchi everyone! The only negative thing was that the sammy was really oily from the sauce. When it arrived, the sammy was sitting in a pool of green oil from the sauce. I had to wipe up the excess oil, dab my sandwich, and hold it with a napkin. The coitja corn was a little bland and couldn’t compare to corn from San Diego.

What I love about this place is it feels like home. Every meal I’ve enjoyed here, and the company I’m with, the combination just makes me feel at home, and there’s something special about that kind of an atmosphere. Besides the food being AMAZING, I love the open kitchen. There’s a level of trust and respect established almost immediately, knowing they aren’t being secretive about the ingredients they use, they are confident in their preparation, and their staff is composed and confident. While it is a little pricey, it is worth it. Highly recommend!

Fork and Fig has been on my radar for a while, but it took me some time to finally make a trip here. I wish I had been less hesitant because I have enjoyed each of the three meals I have had here so far. I am always looking for good sandwich and salad places around town that have creative dishes made with fresh ingredients. On my first visit, I ordered the turkey pear sandwich, but asked to have it on Hawaiian bread instead of rye. This sandwich was nice but not quite as tasty as I would have liked. Second visit — citrus salad with chicken. OMG. I don’t think I have ever had such perfectly cooked chicken on a salad before. Third visit — chicken wrap. This wrap was a tad on the sweet side due to the raspberry relish, but the flavor profile wound up growing on me as my meal progressed. Again, chicken was super tender and juicy. Service has always been prompt and pleasant. The restaurant is a bit small, but we have only had to wait once out of the three times we have visited.

Been here two times now. First was fairly disappointing. The only thing that stood out was my friends burger. My salmon wrap was a lot of bunched up cold tortilla. Zucchini side dish was very greasy, though the mini cast iron pan it came in was cute. Friends gnocchi wasn’t exciting. Second time was a bigger hit. Went with a group of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meals. I did a sandwich, it was great.

First time here – had it bookmarked because of the many good things I’ve heard. Lunch visit did not disappoint. I had the Ribeye Sammy with the Soup du Jour(it sounded good, so I had it). It was a corn chowder with green chili and roasted potatoes. Yum! Perfect on a chili day like today. Corn was sweet and not mushy – still had that snap. Green chili was just hot enough. Parm shaved on top was a nice compliment. Ribeye in my sandwich was cooked perfectly to medium rare per my request. Thin, tender, juicy. Pretty messy with the chimichurri, a little greasy. My sandwich was the only one at the table received not cut in half – minor oversight? It was delicious. I did try my sister’s zucchini side. Wow! I didn’t know that humble veggie could taste so good. Raspberry hibiscus tea was tart and refreshing. Is definitely like to come back again!

It is a rather small restaurant, but what it lacks in size is outweighed by the excellent service, the quality of food and the attention to detail. Packed house on a weekday afternoon. Had a seat by the window. Rather crowded restaurant but the servers were very friendly and efficient. Got a seat within a couple minutes. I ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich which came on some excellent fresh bread. Also, it had some very good pesto/oily sauce in the bread. Had the cole slaw but you get a myriad of options. My date ordered some soup which was southwest style but very tasty. A little pricey, but definitely worth the experience.

Man, that was an unexpectedly good meal. I had the Bahn Mi sandwich and a tomato bisque soup. The sandwich had excellent quality ingredients — freshly grilled seasoned pork, cilantro, sprouts, cucumber, etc. It had a fantastic sauce which was slightly sweet and tangy — their own creation, not some bottled stuff. The baguette was more like a light ciabatta roll, and flavorful, soft inside with a slightly crispy crust. Fresh. The soup was thin, but the portion was large and flavors burst through like sunshine — tomato, citrus, perhaps some basil(?), and a bit of shredded cheese. Perfect for a cold rainy January day. These guys care about food. Everything was made to order — not like typical Albuquerque eateries serving processed and pre-cooked food. Also, the service was friendly and attentive. Go, support them. Great food and location right across from the mall and sheraton hotel we stayed at. I tried the salad with salmon and it was really fresh & delicious.

The food here is brilliant! We stopped on a road trip, based on other Unilocal reviews. Wow! I ordered the salmon wrap with a side of Cotija corn. My husband got the chicken wrap with the soup of the day, a carrot bisque. Great flavors. I think my favorite thing was the soup — not too sweet, full of flavors. The décor is nice and modern. The food is served on little skillets or cookie trays. It isn’t too loud. We sat at the bar, but there seemed to be a wait for a table, even at 2 pm. The service was spectacular. I felt like we had two dedicated waiters. There is not a bar, but the teas of the day was tasty. Wish I lived closer. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked wonderful.

Fork and Fig is located across the street from the Sheraton where we stayed. I ordered their Beefalo Burger and Zucchini Ribbon as the side. My jaw dropped when my order came. This burger was huge! Not only that; when I took my first bite I was smitten! But this thing was thick! My Zucchini ribbon was very good as well and it came in a small skillet. It’s a very simple but awesome presentation and both dishes came in one tray with the behemoth Beefalo. We chose to sit inside and I noticed that if you’re curious enough you can watch the chef work their magic in the kitchen. It’s designed that way. Just open. There’s a community table and there’s a couple of two tops. The glass wall was my favorite in their design. You can watch the people dining outside if you sit facing it. The staff were awesome. Fresh cut flowers on each table. Very cute place and damn good burgers!

Finally got to visit this teeny tiny place. The food was so delicious. I ate every bite. The presentation was different and artsy fun. The service was outstanding, though we had to wait a few minutes for a table because there are only about 10 tables if that. My friend had a Chopped Salad and she enjoyed it. It’s pretty big and looked fresh. I will post a picture. I had the Turkey Sammy with grilled zucchini. It was a great lunch. The sandwich is sweet tasting. The only thing it’s missing is some sort of «crunch» to it. I will be back to try some more menu items!

I really wanted this place to be amazing… I really did. I hope that they improve, so I can update my review. The complaints here are pretty simple: 1. The waitress was too overbearing and would not give me even a couple minutes to actually look at the menu. 2. My sandwich had way too much truffle spread, so that was pretty much all I could taste… for hours. 3. Prices are far too high for a place that gives you disposable tableware.

Driving down Menaul you could easily pass by Fork and Fig not realizing you have missed out on an amazing restaurant. The restaurant is small but there is more space available on the patio. I loved the open kitchen atmosphere and the wait staff were extremely nice and attentive. The ribeye wrap with green chili slaw was the perfect portion size with so much flavor. The fig balsamic jam with creamy goat cheese took the wrap to a whole new level! I love a good Cole slaw but If you like green chili(which who doesn’t!) the combination is delicious! The Ribeye Sammy with Cojita Corn was seasoned well, savory and cooked to perfection. The Cojita Corn was amazing and I highly recommend! I recommend Fork and Fig for lunch or dinner. They have great service, high end produce and proteins with reasonable prices! You definitely should stop in and have a bit to eat!
