Went with my girl, I ordered a full tack of ribs and she had some kind of skewered shrimp on a skewer. The food was good, nothing really special. I would have given the restaurant three stars; however, it loses one because of the leftovers. Instead of the wait staff boxing the leftovers, they just gave me the box and I had to scrape the leftover food into the box myself. For a restaurant with this price point, that’s unacceptable. I’ve had«Olive Garden» put my leftovers away, and this place won’t? Sad. If management actually pays attention to these reviews, customers handling the leftovers is not appropriate for this type of restaurant, it cheapens the dining experience, and for one, I won’t be coming back, unless I know this policy has changed.

Went here to celebrate my birthday. Appetizer — corn fritters, I could seriously just eat these. They are sooooo good. Dinner — salad(Yummy Italian dressing), steak, and super delicious mashed potatoes! I am super picky about mashed potatoes, it’s my favorite, and they are seriously good. Dessert — yes, you have to have dessert on your birthday! They brought out a martini glass with a huge hit fudge sundae, lit a candle, and sang happy birthday to me. I passed the sundae to others in my party and split the molten lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and it was AMAZING! Great place for a good birthday. Or just some corn fritters.

Service was great, but the«medium rare» Ribeye we ordered(2 of them) was probably the worst steak I’ve ever had in my life. One small part might have been medium well, while most of the steak was much closer to well done. It was insanely over seasoned and its greasy pan fried sear was also terrible. Pretty sure this less than 1″ steak was USDA select, at best. Only good thing I can say is that both our steaks were consistently terrible. However, the atmosphere and servers were spot on.

Had a great time with the hubby! Had a good atmosphere, and wonderful food! My filet was cooked great! Pink on the inside, medium rare just as I asked and tasted delish! Best steak on the westside thus far!

This place has definitely grown on me. After dining here a few times with friends and leaving unimpressed I decided to give them another chance as I was in the area. I decided on the prime rib. The food came out in good timing and I immediately dove in with vigor. The prim rib was perfectly cooked and after adding the horseradish sauce it was near perfection for the money and expectations. I added Mac n cheese and asparagus to go along with the meal. The Mac n cheese was delicious and as hot and fresh tasting as I could ask for. The asparagus was a little on the aldente side but overall good. If you are looking for the greatest steak/prime rib I would not neccesarely recommend this place, but if you are looking for a good meal at a good price then this is an option for sure. Wait staff were good with refills and just the right amount of followup to let you enjoy your meal BT not feel ignored.

gris·tle risl/ noun cartilage, especially when found as tough, inedible tissue in meat. My ribeye was full of the above mentioned description. After the mediocre visit for lunch a few months back I thought I’d try again. I was wrong I shouldn’t have. The manager comped my meal when I explained the reasoning for my full plate and I turned down a to-go box. Not only was I unhappy with the slab of gristle on my plate I was also disappointed that my side dish was served lukewarm. I’m quite confident in saying I will not return.

This is an updated review. We gave Longhorn another try as they were kind enough to send us a gift card after seeing my previous review. So I had pasta, which was delicious. I got it with grilled chicken and it was also really good. My husband had the shrimp again and said he liked it as well. He wasn’t crazy about the sauce, but he said that it was just his taste preference. The asparagus was cooked well. The service was good and bread yummy. We’ll be back for a third visit and hope that the food will be good again.

Sadly, all around the table the concensus was«meh».the steaks were average quality, as were the sides… broccoli could have been cooked s bit more and seasoned more, steaks weren’t particularly tender… could get better quality and quantity elsewhere. My steak was way over done, but they did bring me another… however both had several cuts in them, presumably to check temperature, which meant areas of my replacement were still overdone. The Redeeming quality was that the staff was very nice.

Visited twice, since place reminded of «Wood Ranch Steak House» in Cerritos, California. First visit, about a month back, family ordered steaks and it was too salty! Second visit, we ordered WITHOUTANYSPICE with medium-rare and it was cooked raw. I mean, even appearance was white/pinkish not just inside of the meat. Waitress was asking me if that was right cook I ordered, I guess she was expecting it return to the kitchen. When returned, it was well-done. tasted like when I micro-wave left over meat for lunch. Over all, LongHorn steakhouse with two chance, experience was below sub-par for steak house. I can goto local grocery store and get $ 7 per pound steak and make it better than what I had at the restaurant. Employees are nice, they are friendly and attentive to our needs. Your draft beer selection is not very exciting too. There was only 4(or 5) draft beer selection. Unless I see Long Horn restaurant at that locate hit about 4 stars in Unilocal I would not plan to go there again. One positive from menu list are appetizers. They are pretty decent. I give about 3.8 star out of 5 stars.

I’ve been very satisfied with this steakhouse. I think it’s much better than other chains such as Outback. The steaks are tender and tastefully cooked. The porterhouse for two was huge and very good! The last time I went I got a burger instead. And the meat was extremely tender! I was impressed that it didn’t seem like a frozen puck other restaurants do. The fries were sprinkled w Parmesan cheese and didn’t disappoint. Only small complaint I have is that the service can be shaky sometimes. Luckily it hasn’t been bad that I needed to write a bad review. So overall, I Enjoy it here close to home on the westside.

I have said it before, and I’ll say it again: I don’t do chains. However, Howie gets me to them once in a while when there is a legit Unilocal reason to try it. This was one of those times I was grateful to Howie for this out of character action.(Actually, pretty much every time he turns out to be right…) They had a specific menu for us, and we got to choose from a limited number of menu items, but holy cow, that was enough! They brought out all the listed appetizers for all of us to try. The pretzels are predictably delicious, and the sauce they come with is slobber-worthy. I tried the mussels and shrimp — if you know me, you know that is a big deal. I don’t do seafood, but I’m always willing to try for Unilocal events. Got to admit, still don’t like them, but I tried it — and everyone else seemed to love them, so it’s just me. The sweet corn fritters were the BOMB!!! Definitely everyone on earth should eat those once in their lives. Then the soup/salad course: I chose the asiago brocooli soup. PERFECT choice — that is a meal all on its own, and i highly recommend it. Now we get to the main course: do I try the EIGHTEENOUNCERIBEYE or the HARVESTMUSHROOMFILET??? How does one choose between differing levels of heaven? Lucky for me, my friend Howie and I agreed to share, so we got to try both. Thank goodness!!! That ribeye was HUGE and seriously delectable. But — as always — the filet captured my heart. I also had the mac and cheese, which was pretty good, but honestly, no one has EVER beaten my husband’s, and I find it extremely doubtful that anyone ever will. The asparagus was truly lovely, I’d have it again and again. The wine list is a little spare, but overall — two thumbs up! Way more delightful, delicious and fun than I could have hoped for! Worth your restaurant dollars.

One word describes my experience at LongHorn tonight: unexpected. I’ve been to more than my fair share of steakhouses, since my hubby turned me onto the bliss that is a good steak. Everything from family-owned joints to Ruth’s Chris. So, I’ll admit, I figured this would be on par with several other chains that I’ve dined in over the years. Nope. First off… the décor is more upscale-rustic, if that is even«a thing.» GORGEOUS! I want to live there! Warm, cozy, yet pretty chic, too. veryone was full of smiles and personality. Professional, but warm. Hard thing to pull off(take it from a former café owner). The most surprising thing was that ALL their meats are FRESH. Never frozen. Even seafood! Now that is truly impressive for land-locked New Mexico. So out come the apps. Mussels… an easy thing to overcook and something I had a rather horrifying experience with as a child… I was ready to hate them. NOPE! They were perfectly tender and beautifully seasoned. The Wild West Shrimp were tender and tasty. The pretzels… OMG…with Sam Adams cheese sauce and bacon mustard. Divine. And cannot forget the corn fritters. I think they were the table favorite but honestly, nearly impossible to pick a fave. The broccoli Asiago soup was perfectly creamy with tender chunks of veg. Then I was lucky enough to have a slight miscommunications with my entrée’s side dish so I ended up with mac & cheese AND the creamed spinach… I’m a fan of both under the most normal of circumstances… and while the mac was better than most, the spinach was probably my favorite thing all night(next to the filet, of course). Creamed spinach has always been a top veg choice for me, but most restaurants serve it kind of chopped to all get-out and sometimes watery. This was obviously freshly made(I could discern the stalks!) and the sauce was not overbearing and allowed the spinach flavor to not be drowned out in cheese. The filet was PERFECT medium-rare. The mushrooms, fab. It’s one of the very best filets I’ve ever had. And the tableside presentation of the steak sauce… fresh garlic, rosemary and orange rind blended into the secret sauce… again, unexpected. The sriracha was a very nice option as well. One of my fellow diners ordered raw horseradish… which I love, but would have never thought to ask for. It was a GREAT accompaniment to the filet and might warrant suggestion for the menu in that regard… whether raw or in a sauce. Onto dessert. I’ll be honest… dessert is not my thing but I really dig the seasonal ideas and am a fan of pumpkin. The pumpkin lava cake would have been a perfect end to a meal with a nice cup of coffee, but could only manage a small bite of each dessert by the time we got to dessert. The chocolate stampede would have impressed any chocolate fan and was a nice blend of not-too-sweet chocolate(semi-sweet, I’m assuming) with ice cream. I would have loved to see a fall fruit tart… again, with the seasonal theme. Pumpkin is everywhere and I think we forget about the great berries(like blackberries, in particular) that get a massive harvest in fall. Blackberries or blueberries with lemon are a great combination in a tart. Just saying… in case anyone out there is «listening.» ;-) Outstanding experience, across the board. Great management and staff. Wonderful vibe and great food. I look forward to coming back in the near future(I think I can turn my husband around from being a Texas Roadhouse fan!).

Just dont. Steak is better at Texas Radhouse. Waitress swears bread is upon request while second waitress states it comes out with drinks. I stupidly ordered muscles and of course no one knows how to open them. They were broken in pieces everywhere and most of them grainy. Meh.

Shop and Staff The inside of the restaurant was very clean, and well designed. It has a western look and feel I think every steakhouse would have in Texas. The walls, the tables, and the chairs were very clean. Our server named Erica was very knowledgeable. My mother is a very picky eater not by choice, and Erica was very patient, understanding, and made sure she got my mothers order correct. Food and Experience The food came out in a very timely matter. I almost got worried that it came out too fast. For a steakhouse I was expecting a little bit longer of a wait. My dad got the 6 ounce sirloin cooked medium, and I got the 8 ounce sirloin cooked medium rare. My father had no complaints with how his steak was cooked, and neither did I. My mother’s food came out just the way she wanted it. One thing that I found to be unsanitary was with my salad I ordered the balsamic, and oil. Both bottles had some kind of sticky food like residue all over them. Erica made one other small error. I was drinking sweet tea, and I asked for a refill, so mistakenly Erica gave me unsweetened tea. I did not bring it to her attention, however I did make sure to ask for sweet tea on the next refill.

Nothing bad about this place, but nothing great either. Like many restaurants in the Cottonwood Mall area, this one’s a chain. Probably wouldn’t have come here if it weren’t for the gift card I had. I would relate the experience here nearly identical to that of an Outback Steakhouse. Food is the same, but the service was better. I had the baby back ribs, which were ok…(i.e., mediocre). Side salad made with iceberg, and steamed veggies could’ve come out of a bag. My favorite thing about eating here was the drink. Their signature dirty vodka martini was delicious and served with blue cheese stuffed olives. Highly recommend that! If you’re in the area, this place is just fine, but don’t expect anything spectacular. My overall assessment when people ask will be, «meh» gestured with a shoulder shrug.

LongHorn is right next to my apartment complex so naturally, I had to walk over and try it. I went around 12o’clock for lunch. The place was not busy at all, we were seated right away. We started off with jalapeño poppers, which only comes 3 in an order(?!?). They were good. Not great, but good. The sauce tasted more like tarter than avocado-lime ranch, which I believe was advertised. I then ordered a salmon salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection: flavorful and not in the least bit dry. The salad was huge, I could not even finish half. My friend’s burger was delicious, flavorful, and also cooked to perfection. The waitress was great! I really liked her. Great sense of humor and fun to talk to. With 2 orders of jalapeño poppers, a burger with fries, and a salmon salad, a $ 35 tab isn’t too shabby! I will be coming to this restaurant often.

I am not sure I’d go back to longhorn. I called in an order for one of my offices and it’s very important for me to be prompt with this particular provider… well, guess who wasn’t because they took FOREVER getting my order together? This girl! The food was pretty mediocre as well.

Came in and was seated in seconds, greeted with a smile. Tonight is our date night had two stakes salads and dessert for 30.00. She had a black and blue from the bar and was as good as it looked. Our wait staff were great all the time we were here. We sat next to the kitchen and bar and was very well taken care of. The bar tender with the goatee and tats on is neck was hilarious made our visit fun and wanting to come back THANKSTOALLTHEFUNSTAFF

In the long line of chain restaurants this city has Longhorn should do just fine taking part of the stake(no pun intended). I’ve been a handful of times now and I have to say that I’ve never been disappointed by the flavor or service. Funny thing is we have been sat in the same booth every time. Coincidence I’m sure but still funny to me. Their steak salad is filling and you’ll definitely have plenty leftover. They have their own version of the moscow mule with the Montana mule. I definitely recommend it. I haven’t enjoyed a tasty beverage at the bar but I intend to. It just looks cool. My honey has enjoyed a different cut of steak each visit and each time it came out just as he ordered, medium-rare. Which you would think should not be a problem for a steakhouse but crazy things happen sometimes.
