Honestly I will not go back until Mike is behind the grill. Although the service is decent it isn’t enough to distract you from the food being un-satisfying. It used to be the hot spot that I would go to every weekend, but now I would rather go somewhere else until Mike back grilling food truck! I am truly disappointed!!!

Tried the frito pie. Let me start by saying I was excited because they were so friendly and fast. I got my basket of pie and was even more impressed. It was a very large portion for the $ 8 I had just paid. However, one bite in, my excitement left and I was left wishing I had gone to a different truck. The frito pie was made casserole style, which I have never seen before, and let me tell you why that is not the norm. The fritos had become so soggy you could barely pick them out and the red Chile had dried out so much there was no Chile left to eat, just powder. The beans were then ladled on top of the casserole so that they were not incorporated into the dish. To top it all off, it was just really bland. There seemed to be no salt which is strange since the fritos should have added at least the taste of salt. And the chile, like I said, was like getting a mouthful of red Chile powder which is not very tasty. Maybe I’m just being too picky about the chile, but being in NM with so many better options, I would say if you do go here, don’t bother with the red!

If there’s a better food truck in ABQ I don’t know about it. These guys are amazing. Fast, very tasty, good food and cheap. Usually those things don’t go together. They have something for everyone. You can catch them at one of the Harley Davidson dealerships in town each weekend. Lunch for $ 5 and good lunch at that! What more could you want? Oh yeah and they are nice people too. Highly recommended.
