Whether you’re a spice loving local or a tourist Señor Murphy’s definitely will have a great candy for you. I absolutely loved their Chile Pistachio Bark! It is the perfect pairing of red chili peppers, pistachios and dark chocolate. Coupled with the carmels, the chile pistachio bark made for great souvenirs to share with friends and family. Watch for the prices though, the candy can be expensive so keep that in mind when purchases your chocolate fix.

This little branch of the New Mexico candymaker is just a small booth in the Sunport. But it is great because it is past Security, so if you are traveling you can buy some piñón candy to take home to your sweetie. Their specialty is piñón nuts. .. in chocolate! Yum, yum. My favorite are bolitas — little balls of dark chocolate with crushed piñón nuts inside. Señor Murphy’s is primarily a piñón nut /chocolate candy shop, but they do make other confections that are almost as good as a bolita. Nothing beats it! Nothing comes even close. They have four candy shops — two in Santa Fe(La Fonda Hotel & Villa Linda Mall) and two in Albuquerque(Coronado Center Mall &ABQ Sunport). They will ship anywhere you want. If traveling I suggest shipping Señor Murphy candy home — otherwise you won’t get there with them — you will have eaten them all. I admit it has happened to me. BESTCANDYINTHEWORLD!
