Awesome store! I’m always happy the quality of products I see at such affordable prices! I’m getting two Star Wars the force awakens activity books for my daughter… less than $ 10!

TJ Maxx is our go to place for work clothes and shoes. A couple years ago, they updated the checkout area and it seems to flow better. TJ Maxx is the kind of place you need to go to on a regular basis, because inventory changes.

Going here is always like a scavenger hunt. It is really hit or miss — unless you are shopping for a handbag!!! The Handbag section is consistently full of glorious selections. I’ve noticed the men’s department is dwindling. The kids department has never been superb either. Now that I think about I normally go here for me!!! I scored a black Ralph Lauren business jacket for only $ 29.99. WOW!!!

I like to check out TJMAXX for a variety of items, but usually it is the home goods that draw me in. Today when I went in looking for some spring wreaths they came up short on wreaths(like maybe one or two in the entire store) but I walked out with an awesome giant cement mixer truck toy for my four year old son. He was very pleased with the toy, and I was happy to find it at a good price.

This is the best TJ Maxx I’ve ever been to! They are incredibly well stocked with designer women’s apparel — lots of Alice and Olivia, James Pearse, J Brand, Vince, etc. You can’t find these brands elsewhere in NM and here they are on sale!!!

Shopping at TJ Maxx is an adventure. Great variety of name brand merchandise – clothing, housewares, jewelry, children’s items, and accessories. Every trip here is an unknown – will they have what I’m looking for? What other must-haves will I find? And what amazing bargains will I find? I never leave empty-handed and am happy with the deals I get.

I always forget about this place. Maybe because I don’t live near here. It’s very similar to Marshal’s but with some different stuff. I think I like the home selection at TJ Maxx a little better. I went to find some long johns or something to wear as a base layer and I found some great Columbia gear(reflective) to keep my heat in. They are originally $ 60-$ 80 at somewhere like REI but I got ‘em for $ 29.99 and love ‘em. I also picked up some dumbbells recently… and if I can’t find my hair straightener or don’t get one for Xmas, this will be my stop. They have Chi straighteners for $ 80(originally $ 100-$ 120). I LOVE the place. They have great prices and great stuff.

The inside of this store is very clean and organized. Owned under a large corporation called TJX, TJ Maxx is basically like Marshall’s and better(and more organized) than Ross. I like going to these kinds of stores because their full price brand names are 20% less than a typical Macy’s and JCP’s clearance! Talk about winning: D.

If you have a little time to kill dig deep and you can find some killer stuff, by which of course I mean good items and great prices. Treasures are everywhere, I look at my Tj Maxx outings as treasure hunts! Men’s name brand clothing of great quality with slashed prices. Large array of electronic items as well as home goods. If you haven’t given Tj Maxx a chance I would encourage the adventure!

If Burlington Coat Factory is the crazy first-cousin to Ross Dress for Less, than TJ Maxx is her snotty suburbanite cousin from the other side of the family, who everybody knows is trash regardless of the airs she puts on… It’s cleaner, more organized, and it lacks the overt hostility of her cousin stores. All light bulbs are operational, this is good. I don’t feel suicidal after 20 minutes of shopping, things are looking better! Still, it is rack upon narrow rack of a mish-mash of clothes all crammed together for your perusal. Who has the heart for that? Not me. I am here for one thing: yoga pants. I am going to divulge some personal information here, bear with me. My man complains that I come home from work and immediately jump into my pajamas, regardless of the time of day. This is patently untrue! I do not come home and jump into my jammies, I come home and jump into my YOGAPANTS! The subtle difference he is absolutely failing to appreciate is that my ass still looks cute in yoga pants! Do you do yoga in those yoga pants? he asks. Umm, not lately. But I would hope a person could appreciate the difference between some snug fitting yoga pants vs. sloppy ass pj’s. Heads up: TJ Maxx always has a nice selection of Marika Balance Collection yoga pants. They are well-made, fitted, butt-snugly, I fucking love them. They are 50 bones online, only 15 at TJ Maxx. And today I discovered in the housewares section an ENTIREAISLE of food storage items, like Tupperware stuff except it was mainly glass with snappily-fitting plastic tops and cool plastic bento boxes and the like, I’m telling you it was absolutely mesmerizing. They have stainless steel salad spinners, stemless wine glasses, little tiny enamel-coated frying pans, all this random shit I love to browse through, I don’t know why. There is a great skin/body care aisle where you can find Philosophy and Yes to Carrots, lots of good shit. Baby clothes, head phones, IPad cases, dog toys. And yet. .. really gaudy jewelry and Ed Hardy t-shirts to remind you of your more than likely permanent socioeconomic class in life. So it goes. I was raised by hippies and it hurts me to pay full price for anything.

I’ve been coming to TJ for many years now and it is by far one of my fav stores here in Albq. If you’re looking for designer brands and great prices, this is the place to go. As a bargain shopper, I’ve been to many of the other stores like Ross, Marshall’s and Burlington(yuck), and by far TJ Maxx is the best. It is a LOT more organized than Ross and there is a better selection designer clothes/styles and they have very reasonable prices on housewares, accessories and shoes. Yes, like most stores, you do have to dig sometimes to find what you’re looking for, but that’s half the fun right?! Every time I go in, I leave with a new fantastic find! I’ve even started buying my shampoo & conditioner there – you can find some great salon brands. When you’re ready to check out, there is always more than one cashier and the lines go fast because of the automated voice instruction that tells you which cashier is open next. The only negative thing I have to say is that there is only one location here in Albuquerque(one in Santa Fe)! If you’re looking for somewhere new to shop, try TJ’s!

This store is a mess most of the time and hard to get around because of how messy it can be. You can find some great deals though if you’re willing to dig.
