This is my first time eating here and I won’t be returning. I had called to place my order only to receive a call back telling me they didn’t have my topping, jalapeños. When I arrived to pick up my jalapeño-less pizza they said they have jalapeños and my pizza wasn’t ready. I then waited for a worker to run to smiths to buy jalapeños and then come back to make my pizza. After finally arriving home with my pizza I discovered that my pizza had additional toppings that I didn’t order, when I called back she was impossible to talk to and explain my order was wrong and to refund/remake my pizza. Money down the drain because I couldn’t eat the pizza and couldn’t get a refund. On top of it, the ranch was warm and watery, if you do order here don’t get ranch because I’m sure it’s bad.

We tried this place because we had a groupon. The pizza was excellent, you could tell the owners really took pride in the quality of food they are serving. The portion sizes were very small for the price though. It wasn’t so bad because we had the groupon, but if I would have paid the full price for the pizzas I would have been disappointed!

We tried this place after purchasing a Groupon. The Tandoori pizza was very tasty with a generous even distribution of chicken. It bothers me when I order pizza with chicken and not every slice has chicken on it, but this was not the case with Zia. The roasted red peppers were also a delicious addition to this specialty pizza. We also had the Bleu salad which contained generous amounts of bleu cheese, walnuts and roasted peppers. The individual was more than enough for two of us to split as a side to the pizza. I recommend you try this place and decide for yourself. The crust was thin, but that’s how we like it… not thick and doughy like some places. I highly disagree with others who stated the pizza was like frozen because I’ve never had frozen of this quality. I’ll definitely be back to try some of their other menu items. We called ahead to order our meal for pick-up which was ready when stated and the service was very friendly.

Happy staff, thin crust, and expensive for the quality — I’d rather go for Mario’s or Saggio’s — we tried it for funzies though.

Meh. Tasted like frozen section pizza. Tandoori chicken pizza — recipe should be better — basically blend grilled chicken with red pepper. Maybe change the marinara sauce to masala, and a hint of tandoori paster? Naan instead of frozen pizza dough? Any thing, really…

Decided to try this place for dinner tonight as we had a groupon for it, when We walked in there wasn’t a single other customer in there which was off putting but we decided to stick with it based on the good reviews. We ordered wings, a tandorri pizza and a 14 inch cheese pizza with 4 fountain drinks the total cost was $ 43. First up was the wings which were delicious, fresh and tasty we really enjoyed those, next up was the pizzas which honestly there was nothing special about them. The pizzas kind of tasted like a frozen pizza u could pick up at the grocery store they were ok for the groupon price but had we of paid the $ 43 regular I would of been extremely disappointed. Service was 5 stars friendly staff, the place was clean and tidy. Wings were 5 stars yummy, the pizza in all honestly is 3 stars. We all said it wouldn’t be worth a return visit. I am giving this review the 3 stars based on the pizza as it is a pizza place.

Excellent pizza — quality ingredients, very flavorful, thin and crispy. Our favorite type of pizza. Great salads, again fresh, quality ingredients. A single gave us plenty to share.

The most delicious pizza on thin crispy crust. The sauce is a one of a kind with lots of flavor, bringing back wonderful east coast memories. My new favorite. Friendly staff welcome you. Spacious comfortable seating with plenty of parking. This is our new go-to pizza! Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

Starting at the beginning, this is a must try place. The salads(or wraps for same $) are above and way beyond what one might expect when first visiting. The Caprese is out of this world, same w/California. As for the pizza, amazing flavor in the dough and sauces. Strongly reccomend the Tandoori w/the spicy marinara or the Diablo. MAKESUREANDASKFORSIDESOFTHEPOBLANORANCH ! Amazing mix of flavors that can really accenuate the pizzas, wraps, sandwiches. Whatever you might order there do not leave w/o a cannoli for later, they are the best in town… or at least tied w/Giovanni’s which have held that title for a long time. All I can say is if you love great quality ingredients and personal service this is somewhere you must try! It makes il vicino, scarpas and dions seem second tier once you’ve had their pizza and salads. Here’s hoping enough people give Zia a try; you will be amazed with the wonderful taste.

The owners of this restaurant are simply awesome! They offer great service and delicious food! The wings from the pizza to the dessert are impeccable! If they had this restaurant on the West Side I would be there all the time! If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely give them a try!

Stopped in for an impromptu dinner tonight… we noticed it had taken the place of the old Dion’s location and wanted to give it a try. We ordered an 18″ pie with pepperoni and mushrooms(around $ 18), family size house salad($ 8) and fountain drinks. Pizza was good, the flavor was good, very flat and thin, if I had to describe it. The 18″ is the largest pie they have and it was sliced in 8 very big slices(they could have been sliced in half). House salad was good, served in a large bowl with tongs and your choice of dressing. I would like to go back and try the sandwiches, the Diablo pizza and the calzones. It is a family run business, so I am happy to support local. The atmosphere is relaxed, there is a bar area with a TV and seating area with another TV, they leave the remotes out for you to change the channels if you want. I do have other local pizza parlors that I favor, but, if you are in this area it is a good option for pizza. An added bonus for this pizzeria would be for them to sell alcohol. A cold beer or glass of wine would have completed my meal.

Just tried Zia Pizzeria for the first time and we loved it! The Diablo is a must for anyone who is serious about green chile and spice! The fusion of Indian and New Mexican food was amazing! The tandoori and sweet chili wings were exceptional and the poblano ranch was a great complement! We also had the caprese salad and the garlic bread which the kids loved!!! This is definitely going to be a must visit every time I’m back in New Mexico!!! Overall EXCELLENT!!!
