I had no trouble getting served at this Mickey D’s. However, the two-star rating is justified. Accessing this fast food place from Duke Street, driving east, is next to impossible. Trying to get back out to Duke Street, via Wheeler Avenue, is a pain in the tush. The parking lot is too small, so opt for the drive-thru service.

The worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to. Worthless service and workers near the counter don’t use gloves but get their fingers into food. It’s a breeding ground for bacteria and disease. It needs to be sold to a franchise.

Very rude staff. Lady in drive thru was very unfriendly. I asked her can my food be put into two separate bags, she said NO. Gave me a bag and made me bag it myself, then she gave me two straws and was like«here». I get halfway down the street and they forgot my sauce for my nuggets, i had to turn around and go back, this time i went inside and stood there, no line, 2 minutes before the manager or any employee acknowledged my presence, i just came in for my two sauces. Smh. Manager shouldn’t be a manager.

I was really impressed by this location. Given that it is fast food, and McDonald’s at that, i wasn’t expecting much. I was surpsied to find the inside to be extremely clea, open and dare i say stylish. It feels like McD’s is really trying to change its image with this new location. The staff is friendly and their working space is much less hectic and cramped compared to other locations. Overall it appears to be a much more welcoming enviornment for staff and customers. The parking lot is also spacious and easy to get into from the street, as is the drivethru. The food is all standard McD food and McD price. I may be cheating on my diet but it was worth it.

I visit this location numerous times in a week for breakfast simply because it is the fastest option for me. Each time I go, I use only the drive-thru. Service there is horrible for the most part. There is one or two ladies that are usually taking your order that are pleasant otherwise, they all seem miserable. One guy mumbles so badly and it’s barely above a whisper so I’m never sure if he’s actually repeating back what I’ve ordered or asking me another question. He’s nice just barely audible. The main lady I see at the second window seems to be the most miserable person there. She can barely speak to you and when she does, you have the feeling she really doesn’t care. She’ll thrust your food at you and walk away most of the time. They get my drink order wrong on a regular basis. When I go back to get it corrected, they seem bothered by the fact that they have to replace it. It’s not my mistake, it was theirs. I’ve had them hand me and empty cup and tell me to fill it myself. They are apparently a 24 hour facility but when I’ve ordered a Frappé a few times, I was told they just opened and the machine wasn’t ready. Really? Overall, I really need to stop going there. It’s not the healthiest food and the service is atrocious. Maybe this is my catalyst for change. So long 3510 Duke St McDonalds!

This particular McDonalds has NO customer service. No courtesy. Even the managers have no service. Do yourself a favor and drive a few more minutes to another McDonald’s to get some kind of customer service. This place needs a ZERO rating. I have been here on two separate occasions, once in September 2014and just a few days ago. Both times, crap service.

Just had the worst experience at the McDonald’s drive thru. Drove to window #2, picked up my order and drove away. Reached into my bag to grab a fry to discover they forgot my fries. I bust a U turn to get my fries. When I returned to the drive thru, the manager looked at me like I was crazy. She ask me why I didn’t check my bag before I drove off. Basically it was my fault for not checking my order before I drove off. I thought she was joking with me. This woman was serious. We exchange words and at this point my temper has escalated to level two. The only mistake I made was thinking she can get a simple order correct. Apparently she has been working there for 27 years and thinks she is untouchable. I plan to contact corporate and file a complaint. The rude manager’s name was Rosa Lopez. I would give this McDonalds a half star if it allowed it.

Worst McDonalds ever! This place really needs a 0 Star rating. Well I stood at the counter for 10 mins while the workers just walked around not bothering to ask if I wanted anything. Then when I tried to order had to repeat what I wanted 5 times. Then after I wait and order she is like this will be cash only! Not bothering to tell me before I order. If I wasn’t hungry I would walk the f@c@ out. Man I am mad! This has got to be the worst service I have ever received. She tried to accuse me of stealing a drink cup when she is the one who took my order in which I ordered a drink

I always have to check to ensure my order is correct and 90% of the time my order is incorrect. My worst experience just occurred. Got in the drive thru line at 10:55am on Sunday. got to the order taker at 10:57am and was told that breakfast was not being served. Mind you they stop serving breakfast at 11:00am. When I went into the store to speak to the manager Rosa Sandoval, she ignored me. Also, a cashier by the name of Mike told me to go to IHOP. Wow what an attitude I had to put up with to spend my money. I WILLNOT be going back to this location EVER. Contacted McDonalds to lodge a complaint so they may contact the franchise owner. Sorry customer service and they want my money? This location stinks,

So I came here before work, as I hadn’t eaten anything last night. The employees there are not the most fluent in English I would say, as I spoke my order as normal and had to slow down for this one lady and say it over about 3 times or more. After that I waited about a good 5 minutes for a snack wrap which is what I ordered, now in the back I could hear the employees yelling at each other, «oh hurry up back there!» and such things. Now the place itself is nice and clean which is good. So I had the enjoyment of actually eating inside a clean McDonalds for a change. Now this place could most certainly have better employees I would say, but what ever. Honestly I have been to better McDonalds than this, but this is defiantly not the worst I’ve seen. If your looking to not have to wait for to long, repeat your self a couple of times, and just have employees talk to you like they own the world don’t come to this one. However if your like me and just want your food when your hungry than be ready for a little wait.

I’ve been sitting in the drive through line for well over 10 minutes. I’ve heard the traffic and weather report on WTOP twice. It’s 10:30pm and there is a line of cars wrapped around the building. This is the second time I’ve experienced this kind of wait at this McDonalds. I am now finishing this review with a Hot and Spicy Chicken sandwich with a hair on it and stale french fries. Never again!

I don’t go to McDonalds very often, and when I do, it’s usually for a breakfast sandwich. That’s why I’ve visited this McDonalds twice, and both times I was met with foul-attitude employees. Here’s one example: 6:00 am Saturday, February 16, 2013: I stopped for an Egg McMuffin. When I walked up to the counter the only person taking orders was talking to another customer who already had his food. By «talking» I mean complaining how she wasn’t going to «stock the water». She took my order after about a minute, but all I got was a «what do you want?» — no «hello», «welcome to McDonalds», no anything. She never made eye contact nor looked up, but was able to constantly mumble about«not stocking the water». There was also a group of about 4 other McDonalds employees(wearing uniforms) sitting at the table nearest the counter talking very loudly in Spanish — twice the counter person looked at the group and more loudly stated she wasn’t going to «stock the water». The group laughed. I certainly don’t have high expectations when I go to places like McDonalds, but I do expect to not be annoyed at my experience. I’ve visited this place twice, and both times I had similar experiences.

I usually reserve the dreaded 1-star for the truly scary and, in the case of restaurants, health threatening. But I’ve giving this McD’s far too many chances over a decade to redeem itself and sadly it has never failed to disappoint me even with lowered expectations. From spoiled lettuce(a far too frequent occurrence) to having to constantly repeat the simplest of orders over and over because the drive through doesn’t under basic English to just about every other thing you can imagine going wrong with a fast food place — I’ve just about experienced it all. So while I obviously haven’t died yet, my recommendation to you is to just mosey on down the road rather than pulling in here.
