First the cashier refused to honor a Northern Virginia/Washington DC entertainment book coupon, telling me it’s only good in DC, even though it states ‘greater Washington DC area’ on the coupon. Then when I asked to speak to a manager, she told me they don’t have a code on their register so they cant accept it. Later she told me this was the first entertainment book coupon they’d received this year, which I know is not true because I used a different coupon from the same book at this store earlier this year. Rather than honor the coupon, or call the owner, she insisted that I must come back later when the owner is present. I even offered to pay for the extra sub and they could call me to pick up my refund once the owner was in. No dice. So much for the customer always bring right!!!

I have no issue with the sandwiches or sandwich makers themselves, and the store seems clean, but don’t buy the cookies! Really, I never buy cookies for myself at Subway, but witnessed something and was totally grossed out. On my last visit, when the cashier was helping a customer in front of me… she asked for a cookie as part of her order. After he handled her transaction at the register, he grabbed some tongs and got the one she wanted. Then she left and came right back because he gave her the wrong one. He took it back, reached his hand into the bag, took out the wrong cookie, reached his hand into the cookie display and took out the right one and the woman stopped and said, really? You just put your hands all over that. He said, sorry, layed the cookie down on the counter, got the tongs, gave her the right one. She left. After she was gone, he picked up the cookie from the counter and put it back in the case. MMm… nothing like a contaminated cookie to make your day. I blame the situation on the cashier either not caring, or not being trained properly that you cannot handle money and food without washing your hands… but aren’t they supposed to wear gloves anyway??? I’ll stick to the sandwiches, where they wear gloves!

Let’s face it — Subway sucks and this Subway is no different. Yes, it is reasonably clean(but still smelled like dirty mop water) and the employee making my «sandwich» was pleasant enough. But to spend your money here is to participate in an obvious scam that makes McDonald’s look like the best food value ever. I got a six-inch turkey and ham sub. I asked for double meat, already knowing that that’s the only way I would be able to taste the meat at all. So the woman proceed to give me two slices of turkey and two slices of ham, instead of one of each, all folded up to make it look like a lot of meat. I asked if she was serious, but that was just a rhetorical question, because I knew that she certainly was. But she also said, «yes» just to confirm it, lol. Even worse than the meat scam was the dry and shriveled up lettuce and the half-green tomatoes. Again, I expressed dismay and the lady offered to look for some better tomatoes, but I said«forget it.» We both knew that there really weren’t any. Let’s end this national disgrace of a company once and for all. Don’t come to this Subway(or any other) ever again and maybe we can get a local business in this spot that is interested in actually offering value and quality to its customers.

I’ve gone in here a few times since they’re supposed to give a discount to residents living in the apt. complex. The staff isn’t very friendly and doesn’t speak English well. My subs have always turned out correct, but they pick and choose if they’re going to give you a discount or not. It’s not a huge deal, but when they’re already unpleasant to deal with, I’d rather drive to another subway.

We’ve been living near the Subway here for a few years, and we eat here every couple of weeks. The staff has always been very polite to us, with one girl making a point to always asking how I am doing when we come in. The other girl had my sandwich memorized for a while, which was impressive, or maybe I just went there too much… Good service. We haven’t had a bad experience here yet.

This Subway is the reason why I do not go to subway anymore. The staff is rude. They yelled at my fiancé and I when we walked in at 9:45pm saying that they were closed(the sign said they closed at 10). I’d probably not be so upset if they hadn’t been so unprofessional about it. Nobody likes being yelled at. I guess they do good enough business there that they can turn away customers. Besides with Jimmy Johns down the road why would you ever want to eat a Subway sub again?
