Finally found a decent Chinese place! Went and picked up the food. It took less than 10 minutes and the food was GOOD! Fresh, flavorful, and more portions than I expected. I got the home style bean curd, sweet and sour chicken, and rice noodles Taiwan style. The noodles were very good and the veggies tasted fresh.
I will definitely be returning and trying other food from here. So glad to have found a Chinese food place that wasn’t too greasy, bland, or salty (which is what I usually encounter in this area).

Okay, so since this review I’ve ordered from Peking Express 3 times (sighs). The service has continued to be top notch, I still receive my order in under 30 minutes and I have not encountered the first weird delivery person.
Generally I order with a $ 2 off coupon from Eat24 and you’re able to track the order, but now I see a $ 10 off coupon with checkin that I’ll use next time.
One thing I must admit I’m not a fan of is their shoe string French fries. Yeah sue me for not having authentic Chinese food from this place. Overall, Peking Express is my favorite carry out/​delivery place in NOVA.

I’ve been looking for a place for a while with a «healthy/​diet» menu with a spicy sauce since my favorite place turned into an Indian restaurant and I finally found a place that had what I was looking for. The online ordering was a little confusing though because it was under a different name. The order did show up, so in the end it was all ok.

Best chinese food in the area. Usually chinese food makes me feel unhealthy. But I love their general tso chicken! This will be my go to chinese food when I want order in. Hehe

First time ordering delivery from Ho King. Around the holiday, I am a Chinese Food nut to break the monotony of Turkey or Hams. I also generally order multiple entrees so that I can have my own personal buffet.
First of three dishes, General Tso’s Chicken. Hands down the best General Tso’s I have ever had delivered. It arrived with the sauce on the side and the chicken still fried perfectly crispy. I don’t know why anyone would deliver General Tso’s smothered in sauce… it ends up a gooey mess.
I also ordered the Beef with Broccoli and the Kung Pao Chicken and Shrimp for the spicy kick to my self created buffet. It is easy to find a greasy flat Chinese delivery but I found all the food from Ho King to be well spiced, still crisp, and delicious. Prices are great and the food arrived quickly. I highly recommend.

Just moved to the area and wanted to try something local. After reading Unilocal reviews I decided to give this place a try. Food came quickly, service was friendly, and food was hot. My husband got chicken and snowpeas which he thoroughly enjoyed. I got the General tso chicken. It was a little bit sweeter than I was expecting but had good spice. The fried rice wasn’t anything to write home about it went nicely with the meal. We also ordered pork lo mein to share. Wanted a bit more flavor but the veggies and amount of pork were great in the meal. Overall, we enjoyed it and would order delivery again

Was craving for chinese food and decided to order from Ho King. Ordered walnut shrimp and taiwanese noodles. Shrimp was HUGE! Delivered wrong noodle dish but got it replaced in a jiffy. I wanna thank the lady who knew they delivered wrong dish and calmly answered the phone :)

We have tried every single Chinese restaurant within a 5 mile radius (and trust me, there are plenty) and Ho King is the best. They are happy to answer any questions about the menu, and customize your order if you don’t want sauce or mushrooms or rice. The employees are all really nice, too.

Non of Chinese restaurant accept to give more veggies instead of rice.
I don’t want rice why other restaurant s act stupid. They have stupid policy. I have diet and I don’t eat rice. U should respect it.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but its consistently fresh and hot food. Its our favorite Chinese spot in the area. If you order delivery its extremely fast and fresh! We are never disappointed with this place.
Give it a try, I think you will fall in love!

We have been ordering from HoKing for several years. We usually always get the large wonton soup and I believe they have a new chef the wontons are different and less. In the large wonton soup you get like 4 to 5 wontons. Before you got like 8 or so and they were bigger and thicker.
We now just get the rice soup.
All other food is great.

I usually order through GrubHub & pick up the food. Since my purchases are protected by PayPal, I haven’t had any of the issues mentioned in previous reviews with billing. I also live barely a mile from the location, so the delivery is always on time.
The food has always been fresh and flavorful. It’s one of two of my favorite takeout spots in the area. The dumplings, Egg Foo Young and Chow Foon are my favorites.

Dinner was good. The chicken wings were awesome! The ribs could have had a little more flavor. The egg drop soup has corn in it which is different than most. Yet, the pork fried rice was good it could have had more flavor in the pork.

This is the best delivery/​takeout I’ve found so far in Alexandria, and I’ve tried nearly every restaurant out there. Their eggrolls are excellent. Their soup is very flavorful and their entrees are all perfectly seasoned. Their prices are lower than other nearby restaurants and their delivery is very fast. I’ve never waited more than 20 minutes.
