I love it here and the service is superb. I lost track of how many times I’ve been here. Phở portions are a good size and restaurant is clean :) Beware. the parking lot is hectic. I ordered to go for my first time and they brought it out to me because I couldn’t find a spot to park! Great service!

Nothing beats a nice hot bowl of phở after a cold blizzard day of 2016. Service was as expected, nothing special. But the Viet Flare Special phở was pretty darn tasty. It came with an assortment of meat cuts and meatballs. In all the phở was good with nice fragrance and well portion but a bit pricey compare to other phở restaurants in the area.

I friggin’ love this place! Great food, great service and a great location! I almost always order the M7, which is the vermicelli with shrimp rolls, it blesses my soul! This visit I treated myself to some delicious summer rolls as well. If I could, I would shout it from the rooftops, «PHORGOODPHO, DINEHERE!»

food is alright. most overpriced phở i’ve ever had. i only wanted one phở and summer rolls. the total was $ 17.05… i tried calling them before going therewel they do not have a proper working number.(goes straight to voicemail) this phở restaurant is the first place i’ve had to wait 20 – 25 minutes for a simple order. thanks. but no thanks. never going back there.

This place is good on a cold day like its. I just have trouble justifying paying 17 dollars for a bowl phở and a spring roll. The broth of the phở was average at best. I will admit that I am not an expert in phở. I just feel with the amount given and the taste the price just did not feel right to me. With that said, I did find the customer service to be very satisfactory. I will definitely come back and try it again.

This used to to Me Kong restaurant way back in 2005. Viet flare took over. At first it was great, the food portion and quality of the food are great. Not till they changed owner again. The food quality dropped below average, they cut back on a lot of tiny thing such as the salad on your rice dish. Oh and the phở broth tasted different also. Not so authentic anymore, it is like the American style of phở, which anyone can make at home. I guess they cut back in beef bones for the soup and used more msg and Phở soup base because the broth doesn’t give you that satisfaction of an authentic phở. The services and the cleanliness of the restaurant is above average. I do fell safe when I desperately need phở and don’t want to travel to Annandale area. Parking is horrible but it is not the restaurant fault. Just try to park far away as possible, else some one will ding your car for sure.

Portions here are very small which isn’t reflective of the price. Also the phở wasn’t too good. The broth wasn’t flavorful and they didn’t give much meat. The grilled chicken came out with 5 small pieces which was overcooked — I’ve seen kids meals with more food at other restaurants. Bad food at high prices… left hungry and had to get more food elsewhere.

I don’t care how great the Phở taste, but once I see these type of bowls to serve Phở in, I will never go there. These are shity bowls to mix the phở with the condiments in. The broth will over flow all over. These dam bowls are not meant to serve Noodle soups in. Another let down that I will not even go there to try…

I really like it, it’s not the best phô but overall it’s very good. I like the place, it has a good atmosphere. For one small noodle soup with the beef meat I paid $ 10 but I didn’t ask for any drink. I recommend…

I ordered phở to go from Phở Viet Flare recently. I called ahead of time(about 15 minutes beforehand) and my food was ready when I got there. I ordered the Tai Bo Vien(phở with meatballs and slices of eye-of-round steak). The main issue and reason I’m giving this place a 3 is that they just dumped raw and bloody meat in with my noodles. They did put it in a small plastic bag, but the blood just dripped out onto my noodles. I know that the eye-of-round steak is thin enough to cook in a hot broth, but I still felt weirded out and cooked it a bit on the stove when I got home before dropping it into my soup. Other than that, everything else was great. The service was quick and friendly. The phở was reasonably priced and I liked the portion. The broth was delicious and not too oily as other places may serve their phở. Oh, and there was ample parking right outside the restaurant, as the place is located in a fairly large strip mall. I would certainly order from there again, but would probably think twice before getting take-out.

Unassuming but really tastey. We had a bbq pork with spring rolls, came out beautiful and was pleasantly surprised by the bean sprouts at the bottom of the bowl. Service was fast and I’d definitely return, if not for the 10 dollar tag — lunch is the best option

The crispy shrimp rolls are CRACK! I could literally eat them everyday. I came here so much over the course of a few months about a year ago that I designated myself to a table, No. 7. I like the phở too, they do not skimp on additions or broth.

Had a craving for Phở, did a quick Google search for establishments near my-then current location. Phở Viet Flare not only came up in the first pair of results, it actually had great reviews from other patrons, and the prices mentioned sounded reasonable. Well, all of you internet trolls LIED. Here’s what I liked: — Prompt service — Arrangement of seating — Lively but not-too-live atmosphere — Ease of ordering — Portions were ample Here’s what I didn’t like: — Price: for an appetizer of crispy rolls(comes as a pair, sliced into 4 — $ 4.50) and a SMALL bowl of chicken phở, I paid a whopping $ 14.50! — Flavor: The broth was nothing special, tasted more like water, and the hoisin sauce + hot sauce did nothing to improve it — The feeling after I ate. Normally I get a large bowl, keep the rolls and I’m fine. It’s very rare that I feel sick afterwards. It gets points for convenience and service, but my oh my this place just isn’t worth the prices being charged. I will not return.

I’ve been here about two times and had take out once. The broth is good and I really enjoyed the Chicken Phở and the House Special. It’s not the cleanest most comfortable place to eat but it’s good if you’re hungry. Also would not recommend Phở to go as the noodles get really clumpy and soggy. I would not go back here until they improve the cleanliness here.

Been waiting for years to try this place but never made it until about a week ago. Was not in the mood for phở but for something more nostalgic so I had the noodles with marinated pork and grilled pork meat balls(Bun Nem Nurong, Thit Nurong), asked for extra pickled carrots. Marinated pork was flavorful but I was looking for more of a pork chop thickness so I should order their rice dish next time. My friend had the beef phở tai bo vien with extra meatballs on the side. Overall, decent viet food, and ok service. Will definitely be back!

Stop by to try some Phở here today and wasn’t disappointed. The broth was really good. Portion was decent. I was lazy so I ordered the first Phở(house special) that had a little bit of everything. Flank, beef tendon, meatballs and tripes. YUM. I’m a big fan of Phở and I will have to say that the broth here is one of the best I have had in a while. Most Phở places would have a decent broth but you will need to doctor it up to make it perfect. If you have had Phở you will know what I meant by doctoring it up. You will need to add a little Sriracha, Hoi sin sauce and fish sauce to create your own perfect Phở broth. The staff was nice but they did forgot to bring us water. Not the end the world but I figured they will notice if there was no water on the table when they brought out our food however they didn’t and I had to remind them. Other than that they were nice and checked back on us to make sure everything was good. I would suggest staying away from the summer roll. It was disappointing. The beef that was used in the roll has a very weird after taste. It didn’t taste fresh to me.

I think I am spoiled by the Phở I usually eat, because this place seriously missed the the mark for me. I’ve always gotten Phở to-go, and its been fine. I’ve gotten it from Phở 75, Golden Cow, etc etc. Basically every place I’ve tried it. It usually runs a little more expensive because they make you pay for containers. That’s fine. But if I order one small phở, why does it cost 11 $. Just for a small phở to go. The to-go container, isn’t even a container, it was a fountain drink cup. They give you NOTHING when you get it to go(meat wise). I am not even a huge meat eater and even I felt skimped. I felt ripped off from ordering to-go. So, to the food. The noodles weren’t manageable in the to-go state, and I’ve never seen it come together in the brick form that phở viet flare gave me. If the broth knocked me off my feet I would have let all this go. The phở tasted like water. Have you ever had homemade phở? The first day its not as good as the second day, because it needs the time to cook through. This was like phở that was only cooked for an hour. Never tasted a soup that was worse. NEVER. AGAIN.

Received a message from Mike, the owner of Phở Viet Flare. After reading the reviews as well as taking other customer’s feedback into consideration, he stated that he will be switching back to the durable plastic soup containers to store the broth for the phở for carry-out orders. He also offered me 2 free soups next time I visit in exchange for the loss of the other soups last time. I can now happily return back as a regular customer. Appreciated that he took the time to reach out to me as well as taking his customer’s feedback into consideration.

Authentic Vietnamese place with good phở and vermicelli dishes. I really enjoyed the meatballs, tendons, and other meats in my phở. The meat was better here compared to all the phở places I have been to. The soup itself was on par with other places. The vermicelli with grilled pork and fried spring rolls were good as well, as was the shrimp summer roll with peanut sauce. Overall, the food was very enjoyable, and the restaurant will be my go-to Vietnamese place near Cameron Station.

Some damn good Phở up in this bitch. I always get my Phở with tripe, because a mother fucker crazy like that. I also add some fish sauce, cause a mother fucker nasty like that. And you know I pour on a ton of Srirachi, cause a mother fucker gangsta like that. The summer rolls were quite delectable as well.
