This place isn’t very good in my opinion. I’ve gotten delivery from here twice now, and it’s below basic. The meat is chewy doesn’t seem very high quality. The food is cheap so I guess that’s why. But the thing that really sketched me about this place was the last time I got food, we ordered two dinner specials, one with fried rice and one with white rice. They gave us one whole order of fried. So we called back and asked them to bring the white rice we paid for. The delivery guy eventually showed up with two smaller boxes. One with white rice and one with fried rice. We told him we only wanted the box with white rice because my family already ate HALF of the first fried rice box. They demanded the first box back even after we explained to them it was halfway eaten. So the guy took the half empty box and left. So idk if they took a half empty box back and threw it into their big batch of rice to reserve, but that’s nasty. Because if they were just gna throw it away they’d let us keep it. Gross.

This place is so amazing and the quality of the vegetables used are noticed right away !! The food is made with so much love. Prices are so reasonably cheap and the authenticity is spectacular !!! I go around trying different Thai foods and this place is up there. The fact this this business Is family owned and operated is a huge plus. The portions are more than enough, and the flavor is seriously different from other Thai restaurants I’ve tried. Definitely up there. I’m vegetarian and they had a house variety to choose from ! Definitely recommended ! :)

I wish I could leave a review of the food — you know, taste, was it warm etc… However i called for delivery, and they said they don’t deliver to City of San Gabriel. That they only deliver 3 mile radius. So I am 2.9 miles from them. Literally!!! Terrible! If you are going to deliver — make sure you actually deliver. Especially within the areas you said you deliver.

Lunch and dinner specials are under ten bucks! Comes with rice, soup, entrée and egg rolls! So dank! Every time I go in there’s always a table available.

I use to come to this place when it was at the Ambassador Inn. First time at the new location. The place feels very crowded how the tables and chairs are situated. We were a party of 4 and there was only a party of 3 there. It took awhile before they finally took our order. The meat dishes came out quick, but the drinks and rice came out after we asked about it. Not once did they come back and ask how we we’re doing. When we asked for refills, we were told it was $ 0.75. We opted for water. The waiter wanted to pour water in the same glasses we had soda in. We had to ask him for clean glasses. The people working there spent more time watching the tv, then checking on customers. I don’t think I will be coming back here.

Craziest Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. It’s not even Chinese owners. They’re Vietnamese fronting to be Chinese just cause they are in this area. Portions are super small. Place is small and not very inviting.

My co-workers turned me on to this place. Always friendly service, and generous portions. I started going here for lunch a few months back, and now do take out for the family on the weekends.

Great food, decent prices. I went in to eat but will get a delivery next tine. The wontons, beef sticks, shrimp and chicken were all good. And the eggplant dish was great I added chicken to it which I’d recommend for some protein

This place is tucked in the corner of the shopping center but is worth tracking down. The lunch special is a deal 5.99 basically for more food than you can finish is on sitting. Great flavor

Food is okay. Sometimes I go here just for an order of cream cheese wontons but it costs over $ 7 for 7 – 8 really, really tiny pieces so it’s not really worth it. Only reason I’ve gone is because it’s extremely close to where I live and there aren’t very many Chinese places in the area(ones that serve Americanized Chinese food I mean). If I have time and traffic isn’t bad I prefer to go a little further out for really satisfying take-out.

So happy I found this place!!! I recently discovered this little gem of a restaurant. It is not very big, nor fancy, but the food and service is wonderful! Helen or Kenny will usually greet you at the door, and also take care of your orders. I’ve had many of their lunch specials, as well as the dinner special, which is great if you have several people with you, this way you can get a variety of dishes to share. Sung is the cook and his dishes are authentic and wonderfully fresh. The portions are very generous, as well as reasonably priced. I took some of co-workers there yesterday, and they all intend to become regulars, just like me :) Seriously, do give this place a try, I think you will be quite pleased.

I came here for the very first time for lunch expecting a regular Chinese food style eatery where you would pick out the food and have some type of combination plate however that wasn’t the case but I decided to try it anyways. For lunch I had a meat chow mien plate with some kung pao chicken. It was pretty decent. They were able to serve me really well and really fast things that I didn’t like about this particular restaurant is that the prices per plate can be a little bit high for the amount of food that you get. Also, there is a $ 10 minimum for a card transaction. Buying the two cheapest things on the menu almost set me at $ 20. Good food just nothing really special.

Hidden from the Valley traffic, this hole in the wall, is just that. Their lunch special is varied and has many dishes. The common brown gravy is apparent in a majority of the fare. Service is almost nonexistent. This place does mostly take out and delivery. Food is cooked right, but portions are small. You’d get better value going elsewhere. Restaurant is clean as the county inspection gave it an A rating. If you are limited to the Fremont\Valley area then you have no choice. If you have transportation go east on Valley past Atlantic or go down Atlantic.

I totally love this place. I live right down the street from the restaurant and THEYDELIVER(with a purchase of $ 25). It’s great when I don’t feel like going to pick up food or if I am too busy. The food is great and I have never gotten anything that wasn’t fresh. They’re are also really inexpensive. The delivery guys are really nice and fast. I have never actually been into the restaurant so I AMNOTREVIEWINGONSTOREEXPERIENCES! The orange chicken is delicious and all of their fried rice is good. I have to admit the side rice is not always the best but it’s not awful either the chow mein isn’t greasy like most Chinese food places that you would go to such as Panda Express or rice garden, which is definitely an added plus. Overall I have to say, for 25 bucks its well worth it.

To give it a try, I stopped by to get 2 dinner items to go. The place was empty at 6:30pm. The host was very friendly during order taking. Items on the entire menu were all ordinary Chinese dishes. Nothing indicates particular regional flavors. I became very indecisive so the host said why not just get something from the dinner special section. What I ordered: Fish fillet sautéed with green and white onion Pork sautéed with black bean sauce Each came with egg roll and corn/egg soup Total bill was about $ 20. The taste was very average over all. This place will do okay with non-Chinese customers. With all the competition around town, they will need to spice things up a bit.

The food there is terrible and hard to say it s Chinese food. The attitude of the waitress there is horrible and kinda racist. I used to ask for a bowl of rice to go which is on the menu and she reject.

Sometimes you’re too tired to cook, so you go out. Sometimes you order take-out so you can eat at home without cooking. Sometimes you look like crap and you don’t want to get off the car because you have no shoes or bra on, so you hit the drive through. Then there are times you’ve lost the will to drive or even leave your home and you just want someone to bring food to your door. You’re just one step away from asking someone to shovel food into your fat face for you so you don’t have to move at all. That’s when you call Bamboo Garden and have them deliver.(Or when your car is in the shop and you can’t get anywhere.) I found Bamboo Garden on Unilocal and gave them a call without having a menu. I didn’t know what to order but the guy on the phone was helpful and together we figured it out. I got some simple Chinese food delivered for me and the Mr. It didn’t cost a lot and the driver was at my door in a jiffy. The food is clean, fresh, simple… not greasy, not laden with MSG. Just old school Chinese delivery with some packets of soy sauce and fortune cookies. Now I have the menu posted to the fridge, just in case. The best part, I didn’t even have to put on shoes the entire night.
