Great service and friendly staff. Clean, friendly well maintained. The food was good I had the bourbon chicken and bourbon chicken is a hard dish to get perfect. Fair prices and solid selection!

I went to this Pick Up Stix location a couple months ago using the text offer BOGO. I ordered two terriyaki salmon entrée. The salmon tastes so fishy which was unlike before the taste was fresh. I called the manager and informed him of the stale taste. He offered to replace the orders with something else. I went down the manager was not on site for some reasons. The staff called the manager to verify what I was told by the manager. I can’t believe the staff said this: we are going to give you two terriyaki chicken for free. I said wait a minute. I paid for my order(salmon) and the quality turned out to be bad. He sounded like I have never paid for anything. I told him«I paid for the salmon but you guys did a bad job. It is a replacement not a freebie». The staff did not appear to agree with me what I said. I was so mad. I swear i won’t go back again never ever again.

Nasty, nasty, nasty! OMG this place was gross. EVERYTHING I ordered was just fu***ng horrible. It had been years since I had eaten at a pick up stix and this last experience made me remember why. I ordered the combo plate with kung pao chicken, noodles, an egg roll and two crab rangoons. All of it was inedible. Pickup Stix likes to do two things: burn fried foods and use the same sauce for everything. My egg roll had no flavor and was almost black and the crab rangoon’s had almost no cream cheese and were also overcooked and stale tasting. As everyone knows, kung pao chicken is a spicy dish and that’s what I thought I was getting but no. Nope, I got sweet mushy chicken instead. Sweet! The noodles were just that, noodles, with no veggies and the usual fixins that go along with it. They too were very sweet and tasted like my nasty ass chicken. I didn’t want to waste the food but I had to let it go. After many attempts, I just couldn’t keep eating that disgrace of a plate. It seems that the Alhambra complex had food issues because I went to the Starbucks next door and they sucked too. Do not pick up stix here. Pick up and run to somewhere else.

I’ve come here a few times with my little one. We both enjoy the food and share a meal. It’s more than enough to share if you’re dinning with someone. The cashier was sweet and made sure we were happy with our order. The apple juice tasted funny so they replaced it with a soft drink. Overall great experience. Will definitely be back

Placed a phone order before my lunch break, went there to pick it up and it still took them 20 minutes to give it to. So much for order ready to be picked up, waisted half my lunch waiting!

I am not a huge fan of Pick Up Stix, or chains in general, but they are certainly better than Panda Express, and this location was above par. The only thing I didn’t like is that the prices are higher than advertised($ 7.99 instead of $ 6.79 for a tofu entrée, for example), so if I didn’t have a coupon, I don’t think it would have been a very good value. The cashier was sweet, but seemed new, so the manager stepped in to make sure I got my questions answered(e.g., which sauces were vegetarian, etc.). Melissa, the manager, was quick, pleasant, and knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure my order came out right. She is a person I would want working for me if I had a business. The food came out in a normal time frame for made-to-order food, and tasted good. I’ll come back in the future, as long as I have a coupon :)

Service was friendly. The inside of the restaurant was clean. Nice ambiance. Parking in back is easy. Self serve soda. Plenty of condiments. I ordered the orange peel chicken, chicken teriyaki and vegetables and beef with broccoli, all with brown rice. These entrees are a pretty healthy version of Chinese food. They are freshly made with a large amount of vegetables. The chicken dishes were the best. I like larger pieces of chicken but there was plenty of chicken mixed with the vegetables. Flavor was very good. It is not your typical Chinese food but but like I said it’s a healthier version. They definitely control the sodium input which is good.

So I got an order of wontons for Wonton Wednesday on my lunch break. I didn’t finish them all, so I saved a couple of them along with their little sauce friends. On the way back from work, whatever sauce they put in the bag smelled SOBAD that I had to throw it out the window! …This is coming from someone who NEVER litters! Probably will not be returning.

I went here for the first time today for lunch and ordered the general orange chicken. I waited 28 minutes to get my food. WAY too long. The food was good, nothing special. The 2 stars is because the staff was nice. But having to wait 28 minutes is just completely unacceptable.

The Lemon Chicken is Exceptional. I come to this pick up stix location 1 – 2 times a month. I have never been disapointed. The staff is fantastic. They are courteous and friendly. The food is yummy all of the time. I love the brown rice with my entrees. I hope the lemon chicken stays as a regular menu item. The other menu items are very good as well. I’ll be back in a few days for more of that lemon chicken.

I was surprised to see so many bad reviews for this place, as their food is usually quite good. My wife & I have ordered from here many times because we found it was generally better quality than Panda. However, I’m sorry to say that our experience last week(Nov 22) was not up to par. I phoned in our order at 8:00 on Sunday night. Everything was ready when I arrived about 20 minutes later to pick it up. But when I got home, instead of the fresh hot food we normally expect, it seemed like the food had been sitting for way too long. It wasn’t piping hot, for one thing(and the night wasn’t cold, and we don’t live that far away). Our Kung Pao chicken didn’t have any«pow» — the cook didn’t include the chilies.(What??!) It was also lacking in veggies and didn’t taste the freshest. But the worst was our Buddha’s Feast vegetable entrée — instead of looking fresh, all the veggies looked dead(except maybe the carrots), like they’d been sitting on the stove for 2 – 3 hours or more. Unappetizing & totally lacking in nutrition. It has been a few months since we last ordered, so I don’t know if there have been some staff changes in the kitchen or what, but I sure hope the owner of this location takes a serious look at how he/she is operating, because something is going on that’s brought the quality down — either cutting corners to save money or not providing adequate training. I would love to be able to give Pickup Stix a 5-star review but in light of this experience I cannot. But I am willing to revise this review if the owner addresses these issues. Also, since you are charging higher prices than Panda Express, it would be nice if you used organic veggies & chicken for those who don’t want to antibiotic hormones and GMO organisms in their food.

First off this restaurant has been next to my house for a while and I’ve only walked in for white rice. Today I walked in because I was craving chow mein and it was on my way home from work. When I got there I also saw I had a coupon for a buy one entrée get the second free. The girl at the register was very patient and helpful. I ordered the fire cracker tofu and chow mein. When I came home I ate the food and it was amazing. I will definitely become a regular for their tofu and chow mein. The coupon also saved me some money, I got two meals for the price of one. Now that’s a steal! :). Lastly I will be returning for the food and the customer service!

Wish I read the reviews before coming here. First timer. I had greasy chicken that tastes like burnt Korean BBQ. Speedy service because no one was there! That shoudve been a red flag during peak lunch hours! Not satisfied. Paid $ 10.01 for a chicken bowl with a side salad and a drink so i was expecting the food to be good. Also I had to switch from a booth seat to a regular table because the booth was torn and dirty. :(

Food is average take out but the flavors can be good. What’s nice about pick up stix is the ease of online ordering and the great customer service at this location. Easy place to go to pick up a quick lunch.

Definitely not a good place to eat! The noodles were so oily that the box it came in began to get soggy. The chicken was okay but for the pricey I expects big chucks of chicken. I did not like the ample amount of oil in the foods.

I Will Not Pick Up My Stix Not for this place. Have you watched Wizard of Oz? You know at the end where Dorthy throws water onto the Wicked Witch of the West and she starts to melt? «I’m melting! I’m melting!!» Imagine your food like that. Everything is cooked together so much that it all blends together into one big mushy bite of «asian flavor». Yum! Can I have seconds please?
